During the really bad weather I got new wiper blades and the employee installed them. I remembered…read morethat people always have trouble with the adapter, as did this employee. He decided not to use any adapter. That didn't seem right, but it was really cold. In about a week a plastic part of one of the blades broke. And then in another week, both parts broke and the blade came off. S*** happens. What matters to me a lot is how the business responds. I took the blade in and showed Tyler that it was broken. Without my even asking, he said it would be replaced. When I explained that I thought it broke because it was installed without an adapter. He agreed. Replaced and installed two new blades. And is the first person (of 4) putting new blades on this car who figured out immediately how the adapter worked. I go out of my way to go to this store. Big call out to Tyler for courtesy and competence!

Parts wise, it you're working on something American, then you're probably sorted - I'm not, so you just never know. Otherwise, I might have to go to Rollier's (which is even less likely to have what I need), or take the trek out to Harbor Freight (more likely, but less quality). That said, my experiences in other chains like O'Reilly's has been pretty poor, and this location is walking distance, so I'll definitely go here versus anywhere else.

I went in to see about a hood release cable (the exterior one, underneath my car), since the A.M. at Midas (Clairton Blvd.) broke it doing an oil change (don't get me started on them). He found the exact cable, and wrote the part number down for me, as I was ordering online. He also came out to remove the driver's side windshield wiper, since I lost that battle. He discovered the one piece had broken off, which made it impossible for me to remove it. Being 5'1", it was impossible for me to even see that. Again, he went above and beyond what was necessary. And that is exactly why I like this location so much.

They are now sold individually since the size differs between the driver and the passenger. Staff was helpful and was able to look up my car make, model, and year. They sold me quality wipers which should last about 2 years with normal wear and tear. They do offer free installation of them and they dispose of your old ones. They have a rewards program depending upon how much you spend but as with most places you don't get much of a reward. This shop is handy if you are a do it yourself when it comes to maintenance. Prices aren't cheap but at least you are getting quality as compared with seeing a dealer or mechanic for the same thing.

I'll start with the good:…read more - Good customer service - Fast and reliable service Now for the bad: For a tire store, their hazard warranty is disappointing. They prorate the tires if you get a road hazard and need a replacement tire, whereas Discount Tire would replace the tire at no cost under their hazard coverage. They also told me that if one tire needed replaced, I would have to replace all the tires on the vehicle. Again, Discount Tire would simply replace the damaged tire if needed. I bought these tires less than a year ago and was told I needed new tires because they claimed there was a nail in one of them. I decided to handle it myself instead. After inspecting the tire, I never found a nail, and it turned out the issue was actually a broken TPMS sensor. The tire was not losing air at all, which really makes me question their diagnosis.
