Him and his team are thorough and make excellent recommendations on potential problems to be aware of, and while informative of issues down the road, they aren't going to make a hard sale like some other pushy mechanics. Call ahead to make sure they've got room in the shop for your vehicle because this place does have a constant stream of business and they have rightfully earned it. Whenever I've had a high priced item done, I've called around and Luis has time and time again proven to be competitive with work that him and his team can stand by.

I brought my truck in and had them do an oil change after purchasing some BG MOA. The guy at the desk suggested I bring my own oil since I use Royal Purple ( not many shops let you or even suggest that). So I came in and also did an inspection. In my hour and a half wait, I learned a lot from just observing. I learned the following: Everyone that came in and dropped off didn't sign a ticket. They seem to be long time customers that just drop off. The gentleman at the front desk is on a 1st name basis with everyone that came in. You can see the great relationship the shop has with their customers, the parts guy that drops off by how they interact with them. I knew this was the place for me. They are honest, upfront and respect their customers. Bonus that I can bring the oil I want to use since they aren't able to get it. I'm glad I ran across this place. I will definitely be back.

He told me the codes came back to "internal transmission failure" when it was codes for burnt transmission fluid and the overdrive solenoid/TCC. After he figured this out, he came back in and told me worse case scenario it would need a new torque converter (which doesn't make sense since it wasn't slipping) and quoted me 1500$ to replace it. He then told me it would cost 3000$ to overhaul the transmission, but it would cost me 200$ to diagnose it further. After I figured this out I was floored and decided to deal with it on my own. After one simple Google search I figured out it was TCC boost valve clip. Infact this is such a common problem with these transmissions that dodge sells an updated version of this part. I spent 40$ and two hours fixing my transmission when your shop wanted to charge me thousands. This was the first time I have taken a vehicle to a shop to have work done on it, and it was an unbelievably terrible experience. You run a shop full of thieves .
