I have an electronic lock to my apartment. The battery died and my roommate had not put me on the security system account, so no one at the security firm would talk to me. The person who answered the phone at DY Locksmith gave me instructions for how to unlock the door even though the battery was dead. He sent me YouTube videos, had me take videos of what I was trying to do and gave me feedback and communicated with me over the phone and text until I was able to get into my apartment. I had just moved to the city and knew very few people in Charlotte, so I did not know where I could have gone if I had been locked out until my roommate returned from her international travels. I have been working in the mall for years. All the employees complain that they have no other exit besides the main entrance, because of this door being jammed. This guy is awesome!!! I have Acura 2004 RL and my brother in law lost my keys when he took my car fee days ago.. the thing is the car system called flashing or something like that so two other locksmiths couldn't program the transponder key to the car computer.. I called around and no one could help!! My brother got DY locksmith from his girlfriend who used them before, I called them right away and the guy told me over the phone yes I can do that.. Update** Last year we called DY LOCKSMITH to change our locks, yesterday I lost my car key and I was able to use my copy but that's the only key, I called David again and asked for a copy, he said he's in area and he showed up after a bit. I asked him to cut me a copy and less than a minute I had a copy of my car key. Hold on.. Listen why you should call him when you need a locksmith service... At the moment I gave him my credit card to get paid he said that's only a blank key because my car don't has high security control what needs key Programming and he said don't worry about it... Wow ! What a great customer service! Just bought a new house with 6 locks needed to be re-keyed to a new key . My wife and I scheduled an appointment with DY locksmith dispatcher and once the technician arrived to my house he explained everything and exactly what he was going to do . Very helpful and perfect service! Last Friday we closed on a new home and we wanted to change and upgrade our house locks and change the mailbox lock. First time we called a locksmith so we checked online but our new neighbor preferred me to DY Locksmith. The lady explained everything over the phone and we scheduled for the next hour. A technician showed up on time and was very professional and friendly, he showed a few options of security and finishes. I wanted all three locks on my front door changed because they used 3 different keys and I wanted one key for all three locks. I had my key to my lock did not work inside of my deadbolt I then called my apartment which said they could not help me and then I called two other companies but they tried to rip me off and make me pay too much money and they came out to my apartment and when I got here they look at the Lock if I don't work I'll lock it was then they gave me a fair price and once the work started it was done very quickly and then I had a lock that worked so now I can come into my apartment and feed my dog and take a shower and go to sleep tonight.
