The new people there don't even bother to ask so done who has been there a while to answer a question they don't know. Whoever is training the personnel needs to get removed and the whole staff needs to be remediated to know what customer service actually is and stop hassling customers and telling them half truths or making it so difficult to return something that you bought 2 weeks ago with receipts and all.... He understood that spending 300 on boots was an investment and genuinely wanted you to be satisfied. Sad say that he's no longer there. When I walked in, I could tell the difference immediately. A certain arrogance and attitude in the air. When I asked where the old manager was, I was told he is no longer employed with Red Wing and she felt the need to stress that they were corporate - whatever that means. She even know the gentleman's name of who I was referring too, which somehow made it worse. I asked if she could look me up in the system to see what I purchased previously, she said the system was down and didn't know when or if it would be up again. Asked if anything was on sale, I received a flat No. At that point I turned around and left. Red Wing boots are expensive but in my opinion worth it, IF, the product AND customer service are top tier. I assume the boots are still good but the customer service at this location are not. Recommend not using this store but understand it's hard to find American made boots.
