Many of the tee shirts have a Christian religious theme. In the back room of the store are specialty baby and toddler items up to 2T. All of the items are unique with good quality. I picked up a few items from the men clothing section and made my way to the children section on the second floor. I placed all of my selected items my reusable shopping bag that I entered into the store with. As my son and I made our way down the escalator to the first floor I was approached by a man asking me to step to the side so he could speak with me. I stepped to side of the escalator and the man said "we observed you stuffing things in your bag and if you just give me the things I won't arrest you." I was floored by this accusation. I explained to him I am using a reusable shopping bag and I am still shopping. Once done I will pay for my items. He replied "this is what management is saying and we do not use those bags we have the carts or our shopping bags." I replied I was not aware that I could not use my own bag to hold my items and transferred my items to a Primark bag. After this unpleasant encounter I made my way to the register. As I placed my items on the counter I asked the cashier if I could speak with a manager. The cashier asked for the reason of my request and I informed him I had just been accused of stealing. The cashier called for a manager and apologized to me. The cashier inquired as to who accused me of stealing. As I look up I see the guy who accused me of stealing standing at the end of area leading to registers. He quickly ducked out of sight when he noticed me pointing at him. The manager Bryan arrived and I shared with him what happened. He apologized and claimed it was a misunderstanding. I also shared I was visiting from NC. I expressed how this was embarrassing and I never left the store to be accused of stealing. For the man who approached me to assume I was stealing because I was using my own shopping bag was unacceptable and low. There are two sets of register in store however only set of registers was open and this was on the first floor. There is an entrance/exit on the second floor in the children section where I was shopping before being approached on the escalator. Again I never left the store or passed any point of purchase area before being approached. This was not a misunderstanding it was profiling situation. I was threatened with being arrested and embarrassed

My experience at Claire's was fantastic! I was very nervous going into my appointment as I am very…read morecritical of myself and truly had no idea what I was looking for as a wedding dress. My consultant, Shana, was wonderful from start to finish. She was friendly, patient, and truly took into consideration what I liked/disliked about each dress. All wedding attire is located upstairs. It's a semi-private area that is shared with other future bride(s) and their guests. I brought along my four bridesmaids who were all given dry erase boards to write what they liked about each dress- which honestly was great for my confidence and added fun to the experience! Even though the area was being shared with another bride and her consultant, I felt like we had plenty of space and privacy. I tried on a total of ten dresses, but I was really torn between two of them on which I liked the best. Shana ended up bringing me one more dress that was a mix between the two. It was perfect. She brought me a veil to try with the dress and I had the storybook moment where all the emotions hit me at once. I never once felt pressured to purchase anything and I didn't feel rushed at all during my appointment. Turns out, the dress I selected was part of a trunk sale where I got 10% off too! Felt as though my stylist made no effort to have personal connection and just tried to make a sale without allowing my family and I to discuss things we liked about each dress to help find the perfect one. Was glad this wasn't my first store or else I would've been very discouraged as a bride. Bridal shopping should be joyous not stressful. The changing room was off of a tight hallway and where multiple brides dresses were hanging so I felt crammed on my many rushed trips to and from my groups room and the changing stalls.
