The cheesecake is so heavenly ... oh my goodness just melted in my mouth. The flavors are amazing ..my favorites were the strawberry and key lime and of course the turtle cheesecake ... also tried the cookies which were amazing!! The service was friendly and with a smile and very knowledgeable and eager to help.. I absolutely LOVE this shop ... you need to stop here for dessert while you are out and about
This place has delicious sweet treats that are also aesthetically pleasing. i love that you can mix & match the flavors. I ordered ahead for valentine's day and they were well prepared with friendly customer service. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you're downtown craving something sweet
This is a sweet family-owned business and they were all so kind to us when we stopped in! I was craving dessert and it's always a quest for me to find something gluten free. They did have one item that fit the bill...their version of a fluffy Japanese cheesecake that was toasted like a s'more and it was so good! We also grabbed the a slice of turtle cheesecake, a lemon cookie, and a carrot cake cookie to go. They didn't last through the night, but that's neither here nor there. I think they recently opened but it's spacious and welcoming. We went at night and it is very well-lit. We don't get downtown too often but will definitely stop in when we do!
We had a great experience visiting Dvour for the first time today . The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Pete was very nice, he has a great personality. We also got to meet his wife Lidia . They have some Amazing Cheesecake here. They are nothing like your ordinary cheesecake. This will definitely be my new to spot for Cheesecakes In Memphis and Southaven. The Mango is my favorite, but they all are pretty good. We tried the strawberry and Oreo as well and but are also delicious. Of course we had to try more than one. The cheesecakes are creamy and very flavorful (Just Extraordinary) Oh, now the cookies are delicious too don't get me wrong but I haven't had a cheesecake like this one in years. This place is a must try if you are ever in Downtown Memphis, TN. I know I'll certainly be back again and again to try something different each and every time ...
The Introduction: My boyfriend and I are both photographers and decided to take a spontaneous photo walk downtown when we stumbled upon Dvour. Admittedly, the chalk easel outside claiming to have Memphis' best cheesecake was an inviting challenged and we wanted to investigate. It was around 3:45pm on a hot summer Sunday. When we walked in, we were greeted by a really nice gentleman (I assume he was the/a owner) and he offered us samples of the chocolate chip cookie, which were cut into bite size pieces and housed under a glass cake stand. The cookie was decadent, yet light, with a vanilla cream cheese filling. We were off to a great start already. The owner gave us a little information about about the offerings behind the glass - the turtle and plain cheesecake slices on the right side of the case facing the door, and the smaller, round cheesecakes on the left side face the far wall. He was careful to help us choose by explaining little details about the cheesecakes, like what ingredients were included on the toppings of the turtle slice and what flavor profile we could expect from the ube cheesecake. We opted for the turtle slice and the lemon with butter cream cheese frosting. When we got to the counter, the owner told us that although it was still just shy of 4:00pm (3:59 on the dot!) he would us both for price of one. Apparently, Dvour has a Sunday happy hour from 4:00pm on Sunday! It was our first visit to Dvour and we wouldn't have known the difference if he rang us up for both items, but it really stood out to us that he honored the "happy hour" price. The Cheesecake: We sat down and decided to try the turtle slice first. The first bite really blew us away - the first word that comes to mind is rich, but even that descriptor feels like it falls short. It definitely came with a fullness that required us to take a few seconds to savor and enjoy. The crust was the perfect texture as well. We tried the lemon next and definitely enjoyed it - the tartness of the lemon complimented the tanginess of the cheesecake really well. The lemon slice was significantly less sweet and the cream cheese frosting was fairly mild compared to what you might expect from, say, a slice of red velvet cake. We did agree that it was a little difficult to switch back and forth between the two because the rich, sweet decadence of the turtle slice had a totally different flavor profile from the citrusy tang of the lemon. Regardless, the texture of both slices were extremely pleasant and enjoyable to share. We wanted to grab another two slices to sample other flavors but decided to pass since we were walking and didnt want the cheesecake to get too warm. On the bright side, now we have a reason to come back. The Takeaway: I can't say with certainty if it's Memphis' best, because it's been a while since I've had any other locally baked cheesecakes, but we're definitely interested in finding out. Dvour sets a high bar!
This place was amazing. Totally worth the cost. We got three cheesecakes and a cookie and the guy even threw in an extra cookie for free super nice highly recommend silky smooth cheesecake. We got the cookies and cream, lemon and Keylime. The inside is really cool small, quaint mostly for takeout.
This is hands down some of the best cheesecake I've ever had!! I ordered the cookies and cream (not pictured because I had already ate it lol), blueberry lemon, strawberry, and the key lime. They also have great customer service! The owner's husband was the one that helped us and he was incredibly friendly! It's a very relaxed environment to hang out and enjoy a sweet treat!
When in downtown Memphis on a Thursday evening, you must go pick up some cheesecake! I simply love coming to this lovely shop. Peter is always so nice and has stories to tell from the people that pass by. We were treated to an extra special treat...Peter was playing the keyboard and the music was heard outside. My friends and I picked up a flight of cheesecakes. We chose Ube, fruit, Dubai cake and espresso. I am partial to the espresso since I really like coffee. The Dubai cake was kind of dry. All our other choices were so yummy. The oatmeal cookie was delish. We did take our order to go and enjoy at home. Service was exceptional and the place is clean and tidy. I know I will return for more cheesecake. read more
Walking in Memphis on Main Street walk in this stunning shop! Grand and luxurious is an under statement. A wonderful and kind gentleman assisted us and even played a song as I sang loud and happy. He was so kind and gave me a delicious oatmeal raisin cookie with cheesecake filling. Super sweet but in a good way. The cookie is rich and although the cheesecake filling is not too sweet it just too much for my taste but I like each dessert separately. I love the cookie. read more

This is hands down some of the best cheesecake I've ever had!! I ordered the cookies and cream (not pictured because I had already ate it lol), blueberry lemon, strawberry, and the key lime. We stopped by the shop on Trolly Night and we're so happy we did! They had a couple of samples out for you to try, a lemon raspberry cookie, and a carrot cake cheesecake cookie. Both were DELICIOUS! We were only going to get an Oreo Cheesecake to-go, but after the samples, we also picked up a lemon raspberry cookie to eat later. The cookie had creamy raspberry filling on the inside, and the outside cookie was soft and had a light lemon flavor. The flavors weren't aggressive and in your face, which I enjoyed, and you could still really taste both flavors working together. The Oreo cheesecake was also really yummy! It wasn't a super thick cheesecake consistency if that's what you're into. I thought it was a good medium-consistency and i loved the chocolate and Oreo crumbles on top. Parking will be hit or miss downtown so just know you'll have to find some street parking to visit this spot. But, definitely check them out. I will be back to try more! read more

We were greeted with very friendly service, and the cheesecake was delicious, soft and flavorful. There was a large selection of flavors. The cherry biscoff was fantastic! Hours posted online were not accurate, see pic for correct ones. read more

Crave is a little gem with BIG flavors! The New York style cheesecake is a cant miss classic, but dont overlook the seasonal specials like the Key Lime. And the newly added Japanese Cheesecake is a must must must! read more
