Parking isn't the greatest, especially on the weekends, so you can utilize the valet service located in front of The Tavern. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, so we had our own private room. I'm not sure of the price to reserve a private room, so you would need to call and verify that. The menu isn't very extensive, and this is definitely a more expensive restaurant, so I would personally save it for special occasions. If you have a special diet or dietary restrictions, there may not be a ton of options, so I'd recommend calling ahead to ask before making a reservation. For food, I had the porterhouse steak, which is meant to be shared rather than an individual serving. It was definitely a generous portion because I still had enough to take leftovers home! I also ordered the potatoes and Brussels sprouts as my sides. All of the sides are a la carte, so keep that in mind when looking at the menu and pricing. They also had a salmon special while we were there, although I'm not sure if that is something they offer regularly or if the special changes throughout the year. Our server, Blue was excellent and prompt with our needs. I ordered the shrimp and grits with eggs. Blue advised it was spicy and it definitely is for the average Joe, but it was just right for me. It was delicious! Also had the mimosa with pineapple as well. Everything was on point except the biscuits were not good - they were not fluffy and more on the crispy side.
