Buyer beware. Definitely do your research on this company before you agree to anything with them…read more The Better Business Bureau will give you a lot of insight on why you should NOT work with them. We were sent an unlicensed worker who was a nice guy, but messed up our electrical. It was not all up to code and was a fire hazard. We also didn't hear from the owner for a week after the job started 3 days late. He came back into the picture when the job was a few days from being finished to ask for more money. He also tried to charge us for more than we were initially quoted saying he spent a lot of money on materials. He never came to the job site once it started, and we were buying materials for the worker who was here. Long story short, a job they said would be 3 days is going on 2 weeks and incomplete. The worker he sent would show up sometimes at 5pm to start work. Everyday we were told the job would be finished in 1-2 days. Now we have to spend more money on someone to fix the mess they left. We're moved into our new home with no kitchen and electrical wires hanging everywhere. We fired them because it was ridiculous. Definitely a scam.

We agreed on the work and his work was better than we ever could have expected. The fridge looks almost brand new. Great work. Fast replies. Fast repair. 10/10 looks new.

I solicited several businesses through Yelp and received quotes of $500-$600 for what I would have thought to be a $50-$75 venture. And then Dave Peacock of "Stainless Genius" reached out. In the meantime, I had thought of another solution and shared my idea with Dave. Not only did he understand, but he confirmed my idea with his own shop drawing, then he executed the design. It was completed today and I picked it up for a $75 cost. Kudos to Dave and "Stainless Genius".

The estimate was astronomical and would take months to complete. I brought in Distinguished Structural Engineers to give me a second opinion. They give me a written analysis with lots of pictures pointing out some issues, but they gave us peace of mind that the structure was fundamentally sound and only needed attention in a few areas. We used one of their recommended roofers and spent a tiny fraction of the first roofer's estimate to correct the issues. I highly recommend Distinguished Structural Engineers for any work you're considering.

These type of quotes will usually end uo costing more because it is easy for the contractor to say, it is not included or create tension because disagreements due to the lack of detail.
