They did a wonderful job with socializing her and starting her off on training. The facility itself is beautiful. It's very clean and well staffed. We were able to spend time with different puppies out in the main area, which gave us the chance to see how they did with other dogs, people, etc. We probably spent two hours there and never felt rushed into making a decision. Highly recommend!

The moment I picked him up, I could feel practically every bone in his little body. He was extremely underweight, but because he was so fluffy, he appeared healthy at first glance. I brought up my concerns about his weight to the man I was dealing with, whose name I believe was Dwayne. I also questioned the cost and mentioned that they were selling these puppies rather than simply putting them up for adoption. He immediately became defensive and a little snippy with me. He raised his voice and said something along the lines of, "I've been doing this for years, and nobody is going to tell me they know more than I do." His reaction was completely unnecessary and raised a red flag for me. I initially decided it wasn't a good idea to get the puppy, especially considering they were charging almost $900 to supposedly "adopt" him. I've been a dog lover my entire life. I've rescued dogs, adopted dogs (never for such an outrageous amount), and purchased puppies from reputable breeders. I'm certainly not new to caring for animals. I walked away, and I cried. Seeing that little puppy in such a condition absolutely broke my heart. My kids and I continued walking around the flea market for another hour, but none of us could stop thinking about him. We just couldn't bring ourselves to leave him there. Something in me felt that this little puppy needed us, so we went back and purchased him. The man had me fill out the necessary paperwork, and I was assured that someone would call within seven days to check on the puppy and see how he was adjusting. That phone call never happened. Shortly after bringing him home, I took him to the veterinarian. Even my vet questioned where I had gotten him because he was so severely underweight. The vet ordered a parasite test, and sure enough, my puppy tested POSITIVE for Giardia, an intestinal parasite. I was absolutely furious and heartbroken. Dwayne had assured me that this puppy was healthy and had no medical issues. I immediately contacted the organization and spoke with a young woman. I explained everything, including the veterinarian's findings and the fact that nobody had ever followed up to check on the puppy as promised. Her response? "That's weird because we call everyone." Well, clearly, that wasn't the case! I left my name and phone number and specifically asked that Dwayne return my call. At the very least, I expected him to show some concern for the puppy he had sold us. I called on October 9, 2026. Today is October 27, and I STILL have not received a single phone call from anyone at this organization. Meanwhile, my puppy has had to undergo treatment with medication for Giardia and will need to be retested to make sure the parasite has cleared. What bothers me most isn't just the money. It's the condition this puppy was in, the assurances I was given about his health, the defensive attitude when I questioned his weight, and the complete lack of follow-up or concern after the sale. If you're going to charge people nearly $900 under the label of "adoption," I would certainly expect better care, transparency, and accountability. I'm grateful that my puppy is now in a loving home where he's receiving the veterinary care, nutrition, and attention he needs. But I can't help wondering about the other puppies. Please be extremely careful when dealing with this place. Ask questions, pay attention to the condition of the animals, and don't ignore your instincts. I'm sharing my personal experience because I would hate for another family or, more importantly, another innocent puppy to go through something similar.

We appreciate their flexibility and availability, as we do not have to schedule appointments months in advance. We have even had more than one situation in which we had to bring our animals in unexpectedly, and each time they were quick to call back and were able to get us in within hours. The turnaround time for the testing we have gotten has also been incredibly quick (usually within hours) and we appreciate how thorough they are when they explain findings, options, etc. They truly seem focused on providing the highest quality of care without the fear of bankruptcy. It never feels like they are trying to sell you on something to increase their profits rather, they are transparent about pricing and often recommend the less is more approach and what options can be explored/tried before jumping to the most expensive interventions right off the bat and each time, their recommended interventions have been spot on in addressing our pets' needs. Dr. Weiss' straight to the point approach really eases your anxiety, because he focuses on the symptoms and presentation and what can concretely be done rather than allowing you to let your mind get the best of you or worrying yourself with all the what if's. We are really grateful to have found this practice and look forward to working with them for years to come.

He's over priced and non caring with an aweful bedside manner. Lots of attituted from this one.read more

Our cat got into a fight and wound up with a cut on the side of his nose. It turned into a very…read moreswollen abscess and within an afternoon one of his eyes was almost completely covered by the swelling. Our daughter had the car, so I called Dr. Barbara MacMullan and she came over after she was done working her day job, at a local Vet's office. For $50 she did a full exam, weighed our cat, clipped his nails, examined his ears, eyes and mouth and talked to us at length about the options. We didn't want to lance the abscess because it was so close to the eye, so she prescribed amoxicillin. Two days later our cat was on the mend. We didn't have to take him anywhere! No stress. And a $10 savings from going to the Vet. A Vet who makes house calls is great. A Vet who makes thorough house calls and follows up is amazing. And Dr. MacMullan definitely falls into the latter category. :)

As heartbreaking as Fred's passing was, we knew Fred was in pain and could not wait any longer. My family and I could not have asked for a better person than Michelle to support us during Fred's passing - she was kind, sensitive, and empathetic from our first point of contact. We were profoundly touched by the care and thought she put into every aspect of the euthanasia process, from the time she let us spend with Fred after his passing, to ensuring that he had a pillow under his head during his ride from our home. As devastating as Fred's death has been, we could not have asked for a better send-off. We were relieved that we didn't have to bring Fred to the vet's office to say goodbye, which would have made him anxious during his last moments. We were also grateful that he could pass in the comfort and serenity of our backyard, one of his favorite places to be during his life. Michelle even sent us a sweet card a week later. VetMedics truly care about you and your pets. When the time comes for your family to make the decision that we did, we highly recommend you choose VetMedics to accompany you on that journey.

New Years eve my almost 17 yo Pug Maia is having trouble breathing, my vet is closed, emergency vet…read moredidn't open for another 3 hrs. I was in a panic. Then I remembered I boarded my dogs here a couple weeks prior,. I called & was told to bring her in now. Dr Schwarz comes into exam room, gives her a look over then listens to her heart & says I need to take chest Xray now. I knew @ that moment from the very concerned tone in his voice & the look on his face that my girl wasn't coming home. After he gave me a detailed explanation of the X-Ray he brought me to her. 2 of his staff were standing over my girl, one giving oxygen & slowly petting her & talking to her, the other also petting her, it appeared were assuring Maia they were with her. I had to make the decision to let my furbaby go. Dr Schwartz gave her the 1st shot & I was able hold her, hug her, stroke head talk to her, until the end. As upsetting & heartbreaking this was Dr Schwartz (who is not my dogs vet) could not have been more wonderful, compassionate, or empathetic. And this extends to all the staff who were there. I want to say THANK YOU for making this very upsetting situation "tolerable" with the kindness you extended to me, I deeply appreciated it. A few days later I get a sympathy card from Dr Schwarz w/ doggy footprints. Thank you, again Most deserving of a 5 -Gold Star rating

Slowly, things like grooming and boarding shut down, the vet would always come in slurring, stumbling, drunk. Questions stopped getting answered. Appointments cancelled by them. I had tried to make an appointment in late June and was told to just go somewhere else. So I did.... In August I immediately get bombared with calls, texts, emails about how my pets are due for vaccines now. They continued to lie and pressure me about dates (my pets are not due until September). When I asked "I'll make an appointment but can you tell me what just happened for the last few months and why your staff advised me to seek elsewhere?" I was hung up on and never received another notice or message. Something really shady is happening at this poor excuse of a "practice".
