My favorite flavors are: mango smoothie, annihilator hot or blended, B-52 dutch freeze is so good with a hint of orange. I didn't have high expectations when I stopped here. It's a chain coffee place, in the middle of a not impressive parking lot. The workers made the place. Such awesome customer service! It was early morning, and they were all acting so cheerful and upbeat. Loud music playing, workers smiling, just made my morning. We had pretty a standard Cappuccino and Americano, and they were totally fine. Today we heard a disturbing story regarding a racist encounter between two customers. The white, hysterically angry customer screamed obscenities at the African driver and his kids. The staff at this Dutch Brothers did not charge the African American and did not serve the white racist. Dutch Brothers just earned the respect and support of hundreds of people in the Vancouver community. I am admittedly a big time Starbucks and Dunkin' customer, but I started doing business in the Northwest and a colleague recommended I try Dutch Bros. The only exposure I've had to the company was I believe an episode of Undercover Boss on television. The company seemed amazing and it was worth a try. I just order a regular Mocha. Decided to go with something simple. The service for starters was amazing. They had a girl out in the drive thru line taking orders via a tablet in order to expedite the service. Once we got to the window they knew what we ordered and already had it ready and waiting. The gentleman manning the window was so friendly and had a quick genuine conversation with us before we left. First sip of the coffee - it was delicious! The price beat anything else you can find and for that quality this is my new favorite coffee place! So Dutch Brose is not the best coffee in the world obviously but one thing I can appreciate is the culture. They do a great job and having a positive atmosphere and making the customer have a better day then when they first arrived. The coffee is pretty sweet, and it's basically generic. If you're into release we coffee this place is great you will most definitely find what you're looking for, it's a hub for a lot of high school college age kids. They also are usually make the coffee is way too hot. I'm not sure why all Dutch brothers do this but they seem to just want to burn every part of your mouth off probably so you can't taste all the sugar. I want to love this location, I really do. I work in emergency services and work nights, and appreciate the 24 hour location. However, there is absolutely no consideration for people who might not have 30 minutes to wait in line. Every. Single. Time. The socializing is obnoxious. I'm glad you have friendly employees, but twice this said friendliness has made me almost late for work because the person at the window chats excessively AFTER giving the customer their drinks. Meanwhile, I watch the chit chatting and feel my stress rising as I am becoming late to my job (which is not a job I can be late to). I wish you had 2 lines, one for people with lives who don't have 30 minutes to sit, and one for the people who love having your baristas giraffe style leaning into people's cars to visit. On New Years Eve, around 10:30 pm, I was out driving for Lyft and Uber. Having visiouns of lovely tips and many rides dancing in my head, I was in desperate need of a 'stay awake for hours' drink, so I headed to my local 24 hr Starbucks that was supposed to be open until 11pm on New Years Eve. Horrors of horrors, they were closed at TEN FREAKIN' THIRTY! Are you kidding me? I had half an hour to spare... but no, they'd abandoned me... coffeeless. For years I've been a Starbucks fan, but now that I'm working on being sugar free (Did you hear that sugar is more addictive than heroin?) the Starbucks drinks aren't as enjoyable. I'm just not loving them anymore. Add in my new abandonment issues, and I headed to Yelp while still in the parking lot. Miracle of miracles, Dutch Bros was right down the street and OPEN! What? Really?? Afraid to hope, I quickly drove over and indeed, they were open! Woohoo! As there was a bit of a line, one of the servers came out and started taking orders. Now, here is my gripe. Why are there no menu boards back far enough where I can read them ahead of time? What about sugar free options? I was clueless and said so to the nice man taking orders. He was SUPER helpful and I regret not getting his name. He recommended the Annihilator sugar free, and I could also have my preferred almond milk. SCORE! Now here is the reason for 4 stars. THE LINE. So, you have to wait through the line to get to the window and then order ... and wait. My order showed up on their system as I arrived at the window. Seems that there is a lag time. Of course, with the sugar free, light ice and almond milk, it probably took a minute or two to input. It just seems to me a waste of time, and annoying to me for them to not have a more efficient system. I waited patiently and tipped nicely, as they'd all been super. Examples of these statements: I asked if the location has a text program for offers...they do...and they employee went out of her way to tell me all about it and how to sign up. Long line? Someone will probably be taking your order by walking up to your window. Today I wanted to coffee before work. Needed to be at work at 7:00 am. Lined up at 6:45 am with four cars ahead of me. Kicker in-hand at 6:50. Amazing! We do not have these in Seattle, but I believe we will one day, I will franchise some myself. I went to several of these per my brothers recommendation, and they are, by far, my favorite coffee place. The service and standards are incredibly consistent, even when I went to franchises with different owners. Usually I drink regular, but I had to try a Carmalizer, (sugar free/non-fat) as they say it is their most popular. Both the regular (private reserve) and the carmalizer are real, really good. I cannot recommend this place enough. Note - be sure to get a punch card! I went there about 4 times before even knowing about it. read more

UPDATE: This location's employee/s allegedly sold in-high-demand promotional items one day BEFORE the promotion was to start (these promo items were meant to be free!!!) for their own personal financial gain, at $15 bucks a pop!! They allegedly sold 75% of the promo items (i.e. They sold 75 items out of 100 items one day before the promo was to even happen!!) So, only 25% of the supplies in the promo, were left to be handed out! Unimaginable right!!? The promo was "Buy a Large drink--which costs up to $7--and get one pair of Solar Eclipse Glasses for free. They were allegedly selling them for $15 one day prior!) HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL or ethical!? If any other major company did this, there would be outrage, a possible lawsuit, and probably a firing. You don't see McDonalds employees selling Happy Meal toys, do you? (Oh dear God, I sure hope not!) I hope this location investigates this and takes the needed action!!!! (Like firing!!!! And re-evaluating your current staff.) Liars, terrible customer service, overpriced coffee, DIRTY coffee machines/equipment that make coffee taste like monkey butt, higher caffeine count at unhealthy dangerous levels (see their nutrition facts as proof!), higher calories/unhealthier than competitors, frozen drinks are MADE FROM POWDER! The list goes on. Dutch Bros are some shady peeps! The guy that works there told me on August 18th (3 days prior to Solar Eclipse) to come at 5am on August 20th for solar eclipse glasses. Other employee standing next to him confirmed this!! So I arrived at just a little past 5am to be told by the girl working, "Sorry, the Solar Eclipse glasses have been gone since 12:30am!" Even the guy waiting in line ahead of me said he was told to show up at 5am, at this precise location, also. That's why he was there. Then she told me, "Because we are a 24 hour location, we were giving them away at Midnight." Well, why wasn't I told to come at Midnight? Why did the employee tell to me to show up at 5am!!? AND WHY did the employee standing next to him agree with that 5AM time? This tells me that this location NEVER had the solar eclipse glasses to begin with and they just wanted to get extra customers in there today, by lying.... and/or they are simply just the worst ever at customer service!!! Whatever the excuse is that these employees had to blatantly lie, you can bet they just lost a customer!! I WILL not buy coffee at Dutch Bros ever again!! Plus their coffee is MADE FROM POWDER and they always put too much coffee in the drinks anyway. Always tastes like they don't clean their damn machines also! Gross!! So it's not even good quality.
