You will almost always find the line to this coffee stand wrapped around the parking lot! There is a cult following for this place! When you meet the staff you truly understand why! One of my favorite things about this place is their Broistas...clever. Always friendly, smiling, peppy and they try to remember your name and your usual drink. I've almost never experienced their level of service anywhere else. I don't usually drink their coffee drinks but I do love their fruit smoothies and iced or blended Rebel drinks (energy drinks with added flavorings of your choice). Definitely a go to! read more

My husband and I come here at least weekly. We live 40 minutes outside of town and we only come here for doctors appointments and grocery shopping. so when we come here, I like to get my drinks double blended so it doesn't melt as fast on the drive home. I got a Large Double Blended Trixie and was very frustrated at the amount of times I had to go up to have them fix my drink. It took 3 times. It should not have taken 3 times to make a drink. When I went up to the window originally, A blonde girl tried giving me a medium double blended trixie and then eye rolled at me when I politely told her it was a large and also apologized for prying. I let it roll off my back and tried to have understanding because they were busy. However, When I got my large, it had looked like she just dumped whatever was in the medium into a large cup and then watered it down. I tell my husband about it to have him deal with it because at this point, I was visibly annoyed and they tried saying to my husband that when you get double blended it melts faster, which is, pardon my French, but that's a half-ass bullshit excuse if I have ever heard one. I get double blended everytime and it never looks watered down like it did. Finally went back and told them that at this point, I'll just pay for a newly made one and the blonde girl refuses to remake my order that she fucked up on twice. So I ended up having to spend more money just to have them make it right. Not to mention, my newly made drink that I had to pay extra for, tasted like water. I paid for one drink twice when I shouldn't have. I usually don't make reviews like this and usually let things roll off my back but the blonde girl was completely rude and refused to make up for her mistake that she made twice. The service at any Dutch Brothers seems to be always top notch, and this one is just as good as all of them we've been to. The drinks are always good no matter what you get (Unlike that other major place) and the employees are very good at keeping the line going, when we went today, there was probably 10 cars in front of us, and 10 cars in the other direction, but their system of having someone take orders ahead of time really helps in keeping the line moving, Starbucks really needs to copy this! read more

Taking a ride through The Dalles, I was getting weary and didn't see many options for a good cup of java. No Dunkin' Donuts to be seen in these parts and I wasn't in the mood for Starbucks. However, I spotted a Dutch Bros Coffee drive thru at the Cascade Square and there was no line around 5:30PM on a Thursday evening. WOO-HOO!!! I decided to GO DUTCH and immediately pulled up to the window. I glanced over the menu which offers the Dutch Classics (coffee, lattes, mocha, freezes, cocoa), Kick Me (Kahlua Kicker, Annihilator, White Mocha, Almond Joy, Double Torture (stout), ER-911 (6 SHOTS!!), & others), and non coffee drinks (Red Bull, chai latte, smoothies, Italian soda, & more). Iced drinks are made in large cups for the medium price and soy milk is available. I ordered myself a Large Dutch Coffee with cream & sugar and extra two shots. The friendly barista was fast and I had my coffee in 30 seconds. The coffee was AWESOME, which had a nice smooth robust flavor, way better than the Dunkin's I'm so used to drinking. I am a huge Dutch Bros fan, like huge, and I had to stop in here for an Americano while traveling on I-84 from Boise to Portland. This location is very quickly off the freeway and easily back on-- near lots of food and fuel.This location is a busy one, easy to get into and out of. Extra nice people, good conversation, and make a perfect drink. I know I visit too often and spend too much money, but hey... I have an addiction... I know I need to break it, but it's oh-so-good and the staff is super duper! Here is what I post on most of my Dutch Bros reviews: I get a medium Iced Americano (black coffee) add cream (2 oz. half-and-half) and three sweet-n-low and it's only $2.25 and about 50 calories. I can get my kiddo a not-so-hot chocolate and my dog a treat (FREE, YAY!), too! I like the Bros mainly because of its people. Seriously, I don't know how they hire so many amazing people! Save some for us that need good employees!! My brother in law gets a sugar free blended soda, which is very similar to a coffee without the calories. He also makes lots of different drinks with their many sugar-free syrups making the guild a little less than going full-on calorie. If you're heading down the Columbia Gorge I-84 or heading south on Hwy 197 in the Dalles this is the perfect place so stop for a major caffeine fix. Employee's very friendly and fast at getting cars through the line unless someone in front or you orders a coffee that reads like a rocket fuel formula. Girls are really good at throwing ideas out there that can make your coffee order even better. So far they have gotten my Almond Mocha with whipped cream and tons of cinnamon sprinkles just right every time. read more

I love my dutch bros, so I was beyond excited to find one in The Dalles. Unfortunately this DB is unlike any Portland location I've visited. The coffee doesn't taste the same, service is slow, got my coffee in 8 minutes, with only one car ahead of me the first try. And the final straw was this week, I ordered, overhead the other car pull up and say I'm in a hurry, so they stopped my order, made his, checked him out and then finished mine and checked me out. Um, really? Then, the girl told the other two baristas to give the car behind me good service because she was her teacher. The drinks were hot and made to order by what looked to be a pretty nice espresso machine. The music inside was loud and the drinks came out REALLY sweet but hot. Reasonable price for a cup of fancy coffee. Fairly limited menu but had both cold and hot and a few non coffee options. They couldn't provide an itemized receipt when we asked, which we needed for work but gave a regular one. Wait time was really short when we went in the afternoon. I used to go to dutch bros EVERYDAY back 3 or 4 years ago when they had an amazing crew who cared about the quality of drinks they handed out. I've since then got a taste for a more "real coffee" type drink so switch to Grinders, but every now and then will crave some Dutch. Don't get me wrong, I get there are better things to complain about in the world than crappy service and a messed up drink but if this gets you to drive down the road to ANY other coffee stand, do it. Read below if interested or for a good laugh. Today I ordered an iced triple shot americano with white chocolate sauce and soy milk. The lady taking my order was utterly confused at what I was saying as if it was her first day. (Maybe it was her first day, I don't know.) This is my go to drink everywhere. I know it's not complicated. With previously being a barista I know the difference between a latte and an americano. As should everyone working in coffee. However, this girl did not. She asked me three separate times if I wanted a mocha or an americano. Then asked again what size. Then asked again hot or iced. I thought we got it all down and it's all good... until I got up to the window. I was handed a seven shot, hot, americano with no flavor. When I let the gentleman know that I ordered a triple shot, iced white chocolate americano with soy. He then said "oh we will get that fixed for you". I proceed to watch him dump out half of the messed up order and then fill the rest with ice then hand it over to me. I drove off thinking what the hell just happened.
