Small, intimate restaurant = a few four tops and two tops…read more Good Lord we ARE impressed! Dining here was a delightful experience = entering a small, obscure restaurant with wonderful staff (thank you Jessica), and *absolutely out of this world delicious food is such a perk! For starters, we had the bruschetta, which was fresh and delicious. From there we moved on to the house salad, with blue cheese dressing. For our mains; (the real) Mr. Wonderful had the chicken parmigiano and I had the lasagna. Generous servings of incredibly superb food. I usually prefer my own lasagna but actually liked this one better. One of us was able to enjoy coffee and a cannoli, (it wasn't me) I brought home leftovers. We would seriously drive back to Goldendale, Washington, just to eat at D'Avanzo's and highly recommended this little gem!

Spacious, clean, well thought out environment. They do have a stage at the front of the restaurant so I'm guessing they have live music? We recommend the Honky Tonk bar and Grill.

Thank you Farmstand, especially Anna and Finley…read more We shopped at and had breakfast at FarmStand in the Gorge this morning. It is difficult to find a healthy vegetarian breakfast in Hood River. (they do animal protein as well) The cafe's healthy offerings of such are the main reason we go there regularly. We had a fantastic experience! As a team, Anna and Finley prepared a breakfast for us that accommodated for my food allergies. We had a modified veggie bowl, a pancake platter, and a couple of sides we paid for. We would not ask for this during a busy time, but it was early. We also had great coffee and a well prepared smoothie. Anna worked with us on the order and recorded everything accurately. Finley created the most artistic, beautiful, and possibly most healthy breakfast I've had in Hood River. I could not be any happier with the presentation, flavor, and value of the breakfast that they prepared for us. This is one of the few dining experiences in Hood River that is actually worth the money. We'll keep going back for that same quality. Thank you again.

Somewhere in between of beans th sandwiches would be good. Some lettuce and tomato on the Italian would be good also. They are large sandwiches though and we ended up taking half of each home for dinner.
