Good quick coffee stop, don't have any of these in LA so I wanted to fuel up on some caffeine during my short stay in Portland. Coffee is fresh and clean, tastes good as well. 5 Stars for Dutch Bros! Just hit up the drive through, let them know I was a Dutch Boy Virgin so they patiently went over that menu with me. Pulled up to the window where, Joey, a darling Willamette football player greeted me with a big smile and an item on the house. We briefly chatted about Willamette, as I'm here for my son's freshman year/Opening Days. Everyone I encountered had fantastic customer service skills and our coffee drinks are delicious! I've been to several Dutch Bros locations since my addiction began, and this is BY FAR the least impressive. Slow. Slow. Slow. One lane through, and it's slower than molasses in winter - no kidding. I bought two iced drinks and a gift card and it took forever because 1) she couldn't remember what I had ordered (both drinks were the same) 2) she didn't have the gift cards at her register and had to go look for them 3) she couldn't find them so the guy had to go look 4) she didn't tell him that she needed envelopes also, and had to send him in the back AGAIN. I will stick with the the Lancaster peeps by PAC Pride - they are amazing ALL THE TIME! read more

I am upset we went there today @ 4 pm (2-15-2018) to get my freebie and another we asked for a large Carmelizer and a small birthday cake, both blended with whip & drizzle, well we both didn't get what we were suppose to, I was mad and I wanted to get back but the traffic was bad. The Dutch brothers on mission street has always had the nicest employees and management was wonderful. I have been coming here for years. Well I was just recently in there and they had a new manager and she was yelling at one of the employees. It was horrible, I asked another employee who that was they said our new manger Madison. I was shocked could not believe that a manger was actually treating her employees this way. If this is the kind of people you are hiring then I will have to take my business elsewhere. read more

My husband and I have been die hard Dutch Bros fans since we left Java Crew. We are regulars at the Mission St DUtch Bros. We had always gotten great service from a really motivated crew. We have noticed some of the people are no longer there. On Saturday, August 18th I stopped by to get my favorite hybrid tea.There was a car at the window and a white truck in front of me. The barista came to take orders from the cars, as usual but continued talking to the people in the truck for 5 minutes ( I timed it). The truck moved forward and the girl took my order but with none of the motivation and fun the baristas usually have. I moved up and the girl at the window was talking to the people in the white truck and it was obvious she knew them also. Another 5 minutes (yes I times it) and the truck moved so I could get to the window. There was not fun banter as usual with the people that work there. Just "here is your drink. 3 dollars please." She handed me my drink and walked away from the window. I went to leave but could not because the white truck was blocking the exit while they were AGAIN talking to people who worked there. They stayed there for another 2 minutes blocking the entrance until I honked. The girl in the white truck gave me a dirty look and finally moved. That same day my husband stopped by the Mission st location and ordered the Midnight. It is a drink he gets at least 3 times a week. It was HORRIBLE. It was as if one of the ingredients was left out or another put in. He could not even drink it. Waste of $3.00. My husband also stops there to pick up our favorite Ray of Sunshine and a Midnight. Last night, August 22 he stopped at the Mission St Dutch Bros and ordered our usual. I am not sure what they gave him but it was the completely wrong drink. My Ray of Sunshine was brown not the usual red color. I tasted it and it was AWFUL. It had bubble gum flavor in it. My husband even asked them about the color because it did not look right. The girl brushed him off and said it was correct. IT WAS NOT! Another $3.00 wasted. We will not be coming back to the Mission St Dutch Bros again. I am not sure what happened to the people that worked there before but it makes a big difference not having them. We came so often they knew our drink order. It may seem like a small amount of money but it adds up. Going there after a hard day of work or even before work was great because the people were so friendly. I have enough sour people during the day I don't need it on my way home. I really hope you took the time to read this because you have lost 2 great customers. I even had a free next drink, I will be going back to Java Crew which is closer to on my way home than your establishment. read more
