Maybe it's the lame town this location sits in. Maybe it's the attitude/ignorance/immaturity of the employees at this specific location? We were passing thru en route back home to Colorado, so maybe we're more accustomed to more hospitable folks. Agreeing with a previous commenter, this location is subpar at best. :( I've never been to a Dutch Bros where they had ZERO of the following: WiFi, bathrooms, walkup, bike thru, someone over age 16 working somewhere on site. My daughter and I walked up to the drive-through since there was nowhere else to order. We were told I couldn't use my birthday coupon when all I ordered was a medium black coffee. So we drove down the street to the shell gas station for 50 cent coffee. I've been a loyal Dutch bros for 6+ years. On this premise, I'll be using local coffee shops & other regional chains from now on. I didn't peg California to be quite so ugly. My 10 year old daughter used to think so highly of DB & now she's ready to switch to sonic. Thanks kiddos. read more

Seeing all the great reviews, I just had to stop in to try their coffee. The experience of the drive thru was relaxed and non-intimidating. The baristas were friendly and it was a quick turn time. The coffee left me expecting more from the 'kicker'. It was not bad but also not the best. Just a good middle of the road type of treat. It's funny how one visit can completely change your view and opinion of a business. So if I could do 0 stars I would do it in a heart beat. I drove up today with two others in the car. Each of us had a full stamp card. The order was as follows: 16 oz iced white mocha with white coffee and coconut milk 32 oz iced blackberry lime black tea 24 oz blended blackberry pomegranate blue rebel After handing the girl our cards she came back a minute later and said, ".... Actually I'm going to have to charge you $0.50 because the coconut milk is extra... And I don't want my boss to fire me if I'm not following the rules." After she told me that I asked why I've never been charged extra for a free drink that had alternative milk before or what's the point of using the free one? So... We politely paid the $0.50 and then we figured, "hey... We might as well bump that rebel up to a 32 oz and do the same with the coconut milk coffee." That alone ended up costing them more than it would to just give me the damn coconut milk. So here's a little something that Dutch Bros can maybe learn from this experience: - I've never been to a coffee shop that charges extra for alternative milk options when you receive your free drink.. Not Starbucks, not the Human Bean, no From the Hearth... No where! - If you're going to charge extra then be consistent about it. I was a very loyal customer and now I have very mixed feelings about this multi million dollar business who is going to make a fuss over 50 cents! Starbucks appears to be the "top dog" in this category. Although I'm from Seattle, Dutch Bros is the GREATEST. This place is always well staffed with energetic and friendly young people. Two drive up windows and a walk up, make it easy and fast in the service department! There's just enough variety in their drink menu to offer a variety of choices, even to the pickiest of your crowd. Besides a plethora of hot and cold drinks, a small variety of breakfast snacks are available. As I said, their coffee is full of taste. It is also very, very hot. Comes in a double cup to keep from a typical California lawsuit. Ask for an ice cube, their happy to oblige! You can't go wrong with this regional, western coffee hut. It may not have Fancy, urban furniture, mood lighting or 50 types of drink, but you will be happy with your decision to partake of the best coffee in the west! read more

Good tasting coffee, and staff is awesome. They are very fast, friendly, always remember what you order by your face, and seem genuinely interested in talking to you....they are not just going through the paces of the usual customer service. I would have given the full five stars, but the only drawback to Dutch Bros. is the long line of cars that occur at certain times of day....usually in the morning, and around 5pm. However this is usually due to customers either ordering complicated and multiple coffees, holding up the line by chatting up the young girls after the transaction has been completed, or by them being short staffed that day. However, The girls will always come out to your car (kind of like car hops), and take your order if they see that you have been in line for a long period of time. I have to admit, that due to me having to cut my expenses a little bit, I no longer frequent them every day, since I found it was cheaper to brew my own coffee at home...and I got a coffee maker for Christmas. But I will still go there for fancier drinks. read more

Delicious! Great prices. Drive thru runs smoothly and quickly. All the usual espresso drinks, hot, iced, or blended. Also some fun combos they created. You can add any flavor to their yummy blended coffee base or their energy drink. Staff is required to be extremely positive and upbeat, and they are. My last visit ruined any chances of me spending any money here again. I get the same drink everytime. Ninja with two extra shots. I brought my punch card for a free one the other day and got the same drink. Then she tried to charge me a dollar for the extra shots. If I get the same drink every time, with the upcharge, shouldn't I get my free one the exact same way? I've been a barista for years and I've never seen a company be that stingy. This is a review not on the product but on the soul of Dutch Bros. I have personally never had their coffee, but I have an aunt with cancer. They are donating all one day proceeds to her treatment. So I don't care if the coffee tastes like cat urine ,the barista is a condescending tween hipster, the parking is as bad as a trader joes and the price of coffee is equal to the price of the new iPhone. The Antelope shop is my favorite and closes to my travels. Those kids are so nice and respectful , you just don't see that kind of service anymore.
