Reviewer no. 23 I visit this location often as it's right by my ids high school. I've written three reviews on Dutch Bros tonight as they all came up in my suggested places to review, therefore I know I visit too often and have an addiction as I said on my other reviews. I know I need to break it, but it's oh-so-good and the staff is super duper, seriously at all locations and especially this one. They do a very good job trying to get to all the kids in the morning before school and all the parents that need 10 shots of expresso and others starting their commute of the daily grind. I get an Americano (black coffee) add cream and sweet-n-low and it's only $2.75 and about 50 calories. I can get my kiddo a not-so-hot chocolate and my dog a treat (FREE, YAY!), too! I like the Bros mainly because of its people. Seriously, I don't know how they hire so many amazing people! Save some for us that need good employees!! Be sure to get a muffin top-- No, silly, not by drinking the coffee, but just the top of a muffin... yummy GOODNESS! There are lots of different drinks with their many sugar-free syrups making the guild a little less than going full-on calorie. Oh and Google Dutch Bros secrete menu-- lots more fun stuff like the BOB Marley, Ninja Turtle and much more! Keep up the GREAT job Dutch! read more

Dutch Bros Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Meridian, Idaho

Just want to say that I have been coming to this location for over 5 years, over the past few months I have noticed a significant decrease in good service. The employees are rude, when they make a mistake their demeanor isn't what good service should have. They are fake happy or just flat out snotty. Hopefully this service will improve again. read more

This is honestly the best location I've been to. The employees are consistently personable, welcoming, and always smiling. I appreciate the small talk while they're taking my order. It makes the experience feel more human and less rushed. Even on days when it takes an extra couple of minutes to get my drink, I remind myself that I don't always have to be in a hurry. The team is working hard, and it shows. I also appreciate that if they ask about tipping, it never feels pressured. Overall, it's a positive, friendly atmosphere that keeps me coming back. read more

After waiting in line for a very long time my daughter wanted to surprise me with the ornament offered by Dutch bros. As I had ti work and couldn't make the trip. She ordered a small drink and when told it was only offered on medium drinks she said ok change to medium no problem and the guy said they are almost gone and we have too long of a line to change it to a medium... way to go on holiday spirit that's just sad and disappointing again way to go on satisfying your loyal coffee fans with disappointing actions that you couldn't be bothered read more

First time here, the coffee was amazing, but even more impressive was the service. Quick and everyone was extremely friendly. Thank you!

The Dutch Bros on Overland and millennium Way is one of the worst Dutch Bros ever. You can sit in line for 20 minutes with one car ahead of you while they chitchat and make one drink every three minutes. It is the worst I don't know why I bother coming today. I just drove off. read more

Once again this store refuses to make my drink how I ask and refuses to fix it. Won't give money back since it is not right. All they care about is talking to their friends and not making drinks. We waiting 20 mins while 3 girls were flirting with some guy in a car. Then they refuse to do their job! This is not the first it is the last time though. I am tired of wasting money when I can't even get what I ask for. I can only drink white coffee and they never put white coffee In it, I always have to have them make my drink again, but they refuse. I am beyond frustrated and angry right now cause I have wasted money again and can't even drink my coffee! I am done with Dutch bros! AVOID THIS LOCATION!! read more

Why is everyone in Idaho obsessed with Dutch Bros? I don't understand the hype. I can say their baristas are very friendly and want to connect with their customers, so I give them two thumbs up for enthusiasm. The employees I've met are committed to making everyone's day, and I am grateful for the effort they put into making their customers feel valued. However, sometimes it feels a little bit fake and over the top, so I hope corporate isn't pushing them to be overly affectionate with their guests, because it comes off as artificial when they do. As for the coffee here, it's meh. They don't actually serve brewed coffee, which seems like an odd choice for a coffee shop, but maybe it prevents them from serving something old or cold, so if that's the case I appreciate that they are committed to quality. In any event, if you want brewed coffee just know you'll be served an americano, which really isn't the same thing. Their espresso drinks are okay. I have been served some americanos that seemed to have bitter or sour espresso, likely the result of a machine that wasn't pulling shots properly and employees who were too busy to figure out the appropriate way to pull them. If you're getting a latte you might not notice but for a straight up espresso or americano, I haven't had very good luck at getting the sweet flavor of espresso that I look for. They do offer a huge range of drink options, so if you're looking for a beverage you can probably find a flavor that you'll enjoy. They have a large number of specialty drinks with flavor combinations--Irish creme and caramel, black sugar and orange, or white chocolate. Along with standard espresso drinks they offer soft-tops, which seem to be some sort of specialty foam. I don't know--I stick to the basics. A huge part of their business is Red Bull infusions, which are energy drinks mixed with different syrups. They also offer Dutch Freezes, which are coffee-based blended drinks, and Dutch Frosts, which are milk-based blended drinks. For something similar to a vanilla milk shake, get a vanilla Dutch Frost, and you'll have a pretty good treat. I wouldn't consider one of these an actual coffee drink, but as a frozen treat they're a nice choice. For kids they have hot chocolate and steamers, smoothies, lemonades, and sodas. You definitely have a multitude of choices that don't have any caffeine. For coffee, head somewhere else. If you have a bunch of people who need energy or a drink and want a variety of options, Dutch isn't bad. I'm not sure it's worth the 30 minute line, though. read more

11/16/2020: First time at Dutch Bros Coffee and definitely not our last. Customer service 5 stars ...coffee options 5 stars ...thanks to the Monday afternoon crew (around 6ish) made us feel welcomed and gave good recommendations on what to try. Thanks guys. We will be seeing you soon. read more

Normally recommend these guys but my husband used a free coffee and his coffee ended up tasting like steamed milk. It was suppose to be a golden eagle and to be honest it it didn't even have a coffee flavor. Very disappointed. This is the second time it has happened to him at this location on his free drink. Pretty disappointed as he is a decaf drinker and is really picky where he gets his coffee and Dutch bros is the first place he has really liked beside me making them at home for him. read more

Grab any of their mochas! Seriously! I'm not a huge mocha fan, but theirs are sooo yummy here. I specifically like the Double Torture - sweet but still strong. I got introduced to Dutch Bros Coffee by a local when in Bend and for the rest of my trip I was searching these shops out. Yes, this is a chain, but it's delicious and worth a stop. They are located all over the west coast. They have a killer business model, great coffee drinks, and happy employees wherever you go. This location was super easy to get to and they were pretty fast. You can enjoy any of their drinks hot, blended or iced. I loved that the iced beverages weren't watered down. If you don't drink dairy, they have milk alternatives such as soy, almond, and coconut. Have you ever subbed coconut milk in your coffee drink? It's awesome. If you need caffeine, check this place out! read more

Haven't had Dutch Bros for 4 years, the last time was in Oregon. I was ecstatic when I saw Dutch Bros in Boise. I ordered the iced 911 with half sweet. I was disappointed to taste a warm drink in my cup with little-to-no-ice. I'm not a fan of warm/hot coffee and didn't take another sip after that. read more

Stopped in for a couple of coffee's this weekend, met the walk-around greeter and placed our orders with him. We were behind a car with a gentleman who evidently knew one of the servers, so we waited and waited while they chatted for quite time. The other drive thru side was empty, so the delay was only on our side with the two guys talking. When we did get our hot coffee's they were cold; the outside greeter had to bring them to us because we were stuck behind the front car. Pretty sure they just sat there while those two were catching up with each other. I don't want to sound like a jerk, but while we were sitting there I realized that this isn't the first time we've waited longer at this Dutch Bros coffee stop more so than most other shops. I realize you guys hire people for their personality because that sets well with your customers. To be honest I think they can get overly chatty at the expense of the people behind them just trying to get a coffee. Just saying, we'd rather go to a quicker place where the staff is pleasant without going overboard, the service faster, and the coffee is just as good. read more

Suggestion for Dutch Bros: Send someone out to the long line of cars to pre-take their orders. I've passed by many times because the line is always around the corner. I love Dutch Bros, and the college students working here are awesome! They always have cool stickers, too. Two thumbs up! read more

It's all pretty much hype. I mean they make decent coffee and speciality drinks but I just can't get past the amount of cash one can easily spend here. Generally I only go here when we are stocked up on gift cards. If your a coffee fan and enjoy lots of puffery and spectacle while getting a mocha then this is likely your spot. read more

Came here for a milk shake. The place: When we got there the drive through was backed up to the street. The place is kinda small and popular but we didn't have to wait very long. The shake: Have you ever tried to make a homemade shake? You think "It's easy. Just milk and ice cream." So you put some ice cream in a cup, pour some milk in and mix it together. But then when you go to drink it you realize it's not as good as you thought it'd be. It's chunky or at best gritty, not smooth as expected. It can't be drunk through a straw very well and the milk ends up being drunk first , like the flavor in a slushy. Now remember how you wished you had a real milkshake? Well that's how my milkshake left me feeling. If you're saying no to my above questions, then imagine making that homemade shake. Imagine a cup of ice cream and milk mixed together and put in a cup. Imagine a cup full of gritty ice cream, kinda like when eating freezer burnt ice cream. that's what I received. It was actually the worst shake I've ever had and I wouldn't wish it upon any shake lover. I actually never finished it and ended up throwing it out. In all, this was my very first time being at, or hearing of, Dutch Bros and it will be my last. read more

I really wanted to give a better rating, but I just can't. This used to be the Dutch Bros I frequented until I tried the State Street location. The coffee just isn't good. I'm not sure if it's in the preparation or what, but you can taste it. It makes me quite sad, as the people there are the greatest! read more

This morning was chaos at Dutch Bros. the details don't matter, but it was entirely a customer's fault. What happened next was awesome. When it was my turn at the window I teased the girl with my punch card .. playing a little keep away. She then took the card and then played back. So ornery and funny. It wasn't the play that mattered, but the fact that she had an amazing attitude after dealing with the chaos. I didn't catch her name, but I hope she sees this and knows how awesome she is .. a true ambassador for Dutch Bros! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Dutch Bros Coffee and wish I could get it in Houston! It is a must for me to get Dutch Bros. as many times as I possibly can while I'm visiting Boise. They're easy to miss since they're basically just a little shop in a big parking lot. Pay attention to the way the lanes run. There isn't anything like this in Houston, so maybe that's why I am easily confused. The employees are always extremely nice and full of energy, even at 6am. It is amazing to see the energy some of those people have. Even if there is a line it goes fast, and you can park & walk up if you want to. I always get the Camelizer. It is delicious, comparable to a caramel machiato but better. Utilize their stamp cards for free drinks! read more

If you love excellent coffee and exceptional customer service, there's no point going to any other coffee shop. I highly recommend their blended rebels and Iced teas. I love Dutch bros and have for years, but this location takes their quality, speed, and service to a whole other level. Their employees are perfection. They have never messed up an order of mine and I come through at least 5-10 times a week. They try to create a genuine connection with each one of their customers whether a first timer or a long timer. If you need a pick me up and a good laugh I wouldn't think twice about where to go. Dutch love all the way. read more

Energetic amazing service. Gave me a free drink card for next time since it was my first trip to a Dutch bros an normally your first drink is free. They seemed happy to be at work! read more

This location is my personal favorite. They always seem to make perfect drinks and it is never unbelievably slow like other locations. Stopped by this morning to get something to wake me up before I head out to work and the Kicker did just that. The moment you pull up to the window you are greeted by a friendly work staff that seem to be enjoying what they are doing and have no problem starting up a conversation with you. This is a go to spot if you enjoy a friendly environment and good coffee. Sometimes the lines tend to be long but its worth the wait. read more

This Dutch Brothers is across from the high school in Meridian. So if you go in the morning at 8:25 like I did today plan on a bit of a delay. 6 cars on one side and 6 on the other side. 12 cars in total. :) And most of the cars were filled with more than one high school kid. And no I did not get a total number of people in both lines. That would be silly. So my point of telling you all this useless information is that I got my mocha in 7 minutes of pulling up. And it gave me 7 minutes to count cars not people and think about what I drank before high school.. I think it was chocolate milk or orange juice. Man How times have changed. And I'm getting old. So if your driving by this location and the lines look long just know they get you though pretty quickly and are very friendly ( a bit much something) but better than the alternative I guess. Oh I almost forgot. ... I'm not an expert coffee drinker. ( coffee snob) but the coffee is very good as well. Sorry if I offended any of you coffee snobs out there. :) read more

I've never heard of Dutch Bros. until I came to Meridian, Idaho last year to visit some family. It's down the road from where my sister lives, so my niece took me there one afternoon. I've never tried their coffees and don't really plan on it, but their smoothies are AWESOME!! That's all I go there for and too bad there isn't one near where I live. The closest is Woodland and I'm not going to drive all the way there just for some smoothie. I will visit Meridian again later this May and I can't can't wait!! read more

LOVE the Carmelizer!!! Being from the Seattle area I tend to be too much of a Starbucks snob, but on our trip to Boise we were urged to try Dutch Bros because it was my daughter in law's favorite and I'm now a Dutch Bros convert! I wish we had them closer to us, I'll definitely search them out when I'm traveling.
