Duspara is definitely a culinary destination in Margareten. It has a creative menu that frequently changes and uses fresh ingredients. The presentation of the food here is also very artistically done. I recently enjoyed a paprika-coconut soup here. I wish it could have been a one more ladle larger portion as the bowl did not really contain a great amount of this tasty soup. A lightly fried Wels filet (catfish) was perfectly done and served over a zucchini bean salad. Water and salt & pepper were brought to the table upon request.
The only annoying thing here was being grilled by the chef/owner about taking photos in the restaurant. He certainly could have been friendlier about this. And c'mon - it's 2017 and people are taking photos in restaurants. In fact I've done so in hundreds of restaurants in Vienna and elsewhere with no problem and in actuality it has been good free publicity for the restaurant. Anyway other than feeling lectured to - Duspara is a good creative restaurant. read more
