I don't know, still a great place for wood working enthusiasts. Tools galore, they have so much to play with in there; honestly, first time in, and I spent more than an hour walking around and touching things. They also have a great email system set up, so sign up for that. The location is a little Narnia-esq, what with the lefts and the rights and the straights, and don't get me started on the parking. **AMAZING customer experience story**…read more The other day I came in looking for a pair of heavy-duty scissors to cut off a piece of plastic that was hanging down from my car making a terrible scraping noise. After a minute of wandering around, an employee, Patrick, asked if I was finding everything alright. I told him what I was looking for and why I needed them. He lead me to the scissors, none of them big or strong enough for what I needed. He asked if I had a utility knife. I said no. He then pulled his out and asked if we could go look at it together, and "maybe save me some money." He then proceeded to, in the 33 degree weather, crouch down to cut this super difficult piece of plastic off of my car for me!! He then explained to me what it was and even suggested his mechanic. It was literally so kind. Instead of just trying to sell me some cheap scissors that we both knew wouldn't work, he took time out of his day to help me with this, at no benefit to him. After searching for several weeks to find the perfect kitchen cabinets and countertops, we finally found what we were looking for at Menards. We showed up with a budget and measurements, but we were lost otherwise. Thankfully, the employees in the Kitchen Design Department were incredibly helpful. After about an hour we walked out with a complete kitchen design and a great plan for our new digs. This will be our spot for any further home renovations. Beware when you return items. According to the woman at the…read morereturn desk, Home Depot doesn't exchange items, they only refund and you have to buy product again, even if it's the same item. I bought my wife a pair of garden gloves for $8.47 but they were too small. Since I couldn't exchange for a larger size, I had to get a refund, then pay the "new" higher price of $9.97. Guess I should have run back to HD the same day. Oh well, lesson learned.
