First time trying a head spa! Decided to go for their head spa and facial 90min treatment for about $126 total which in my opinion is a great price compared to other places. It started out with a scalp analysis and then off to the treatment spa room which was nice and clean and serene! I wish I had asked her name but my spa girlie was amazing with the whole experience and had massaged my scalp and neck, shoulders and back a bit! The facial was very nice too not as extensive as other facial specialty places but I was just looking for relaxation and this was it! This was truly an amazing experience! We found this spot on Groupon and got a 90 minute head spa. We were a little nervous because we had never done anything like this before, but luckily the workers were kind and patient with us. Before you start, they show you on this screen what your scalp looks like. Mine was super dry and my fiancé's was pretty healthy. With that information, they were able to individualize our scalp treatment. We laid down on our backs and they used warm water to wash our scalp, steam it, and provided plenty of neck, head, and shoulder massage. There was a moment about 30 minutes in where they enclose your head slightly to steam it and rinse for about 10 minutes. I wish they provided a pillow for under your knees, but other than that, it was the perfect experience! read more

I purchased their 60 Minute Signature Head Spa Treatment with Scalp Massage for Two on Groupon. ($68 Groupon, $196 value). Per the Groupon Deal section, this includes a Head & Scalp massage with essential oils, scalp hydrotherapy with waterfall, hair washing with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner, and optional hair care fumigation to eliminate dandruff. Redeeming this Groupon was the most challenging part of the process. I had made multiple attempts to call during business hours and I didn't get through until my 3rd attempt. To be honest I was almost ready to return the voucher for credits but Groupon didn't let me so I had to keep trying. When you finally get ahold of the business, their communication is limited and brief. You get a text to confirm, but they don't even ask for your name or anything. So I ended up going with my niece on a weekend as part of her birthday present. When we arrived the ladies were all super nice and sweet to us, but once again there was a clear language barrier. They aren't here to really talk to you. I've been to other heads spas so I'm fairly familiar with the process, but it might be stressful or confusing for any first timers. When we got there I mentioned we were celebrating my niece's birthday. And they offered us an add-on. A 30 minute back massage with complimentary hot stones for $20/person. Okay, I'm convinced. Spoil my niece some more :) So the scalp analysis is done at one common area section in the front. It's a bit awkward cause everyone can see your scalp. Unlike other similar businesses I felt like the analysis was quick and only in one spot. Another head spa I went to checked different areas of my scalp and really took their time with it. And they didn't really sanitized in between people. They didn't do an after analysis, but maybe that's a good thing since there's no sanitizing in between. Then we were lead to the treatment area. It looks like they had 4 stations, separated by curtains. I only saw the back 2 curtain areas, since my niece and I were next to each other. They instructed us to take off our shirt and bra, and start off with the back massage face down. The back massage was really enjoyable and I feel like the upgrade was really worth it. After the back massage we flipped over to lay into the head sink area, face up of course. They put ear covers that were attached to our ears, so they stayed in place. This was hard for me cause there was no transition communication and I had no clue what was going on most of the time. I enjoyed the scalp massage and treatment. Even when they applied the shampoo and conditioner they do it with scalp massage techniques. Very relaxing. However during the waterfall therapy part, they just turned on the machine and left me there for a looong time, untouched. During this time at other head spas they would take the time to massage my arms or legs or something for added value. At the end they somewhat blew dry my hair, but it was still damp. Other head spas give you a full on blow out leaving you beautiful for your plans after. Overall a relaxing experience for my niece and I, and service was nice and we left feeling fabulous, but it wasn't without flaws. Recurring communication challenges, and room for improvement with the customer experience. Nevertheless a decent head spa option relative to the area. read more

I want to gatekeep this so much but I also want it to have the clientele it deserves. Mom and her favorite child allowed me to come with them to their girls-day-out and already knew it was going to be great. This is my first scalp treatment everrrr and it was so good. DONT DRINK ANY CAFFEINE BEFORE HAND. You will get jittery and it will take away from the experience (says the person who sipped on some iced coffee on the way in). Still loved it. They let you see the condition of your scalp which may bring shame upon thy soul. But the excitement of knowing you're about to get that addressed in the form of a super relaxing experience makes you that much grateful for finding such a great hole-in-the-wall. My friend and I called before arriving trying to book a head and scalp massage we had seen on Groupon. The supervisor told us to come in and they would honor the Groupon. That was the end of the call. We arrived and were told that we needed payment as soon as we arrived which was not a problem then were told there were no available spots for the day because we never mentioned a time even though we were told to come in. As a business you should provide available slot times and not rely on the customer to mention the time if we are told to just come in. I highly recommend the spa for hair washing, the technique are really great, the hair analysis was accurate and I brought my own products as I had taken out my braids and needed help to wash and dry my hair for a braiding appointment the same day and I didn't have enough time to do it myself. She was gentle and added a Biolage product to detangle my hair. My scalp was really clean and the befor and after analysis showed the difference... I usually have dandruff and a dry scalp. Great place to treat yourself. This place was very clean. The staff were really nice. The scalp treatment was excellent. They started with a scalp analysis which was quick and interesting. I didn't want to see too much. lol. Then we went to the treatment area and I received an hour of pure relaxation. There was a scalp massage, a few shampoos, nothing too aggressive, more massage, then a conditioning mask and steam, and more upper body massage and scalp massage. The finale was a great smelling oil, a quick rough blow dry to dry the roots and a shoulder rub. My hair is super smooth and shiny. It feels so soft and healthy. This is something I will continue to come here to do at least monthly. They have add ons which sound amazing. We did a $10 deep conditioning treatment, and I think there are others like foot massage or a longer session. The booking process was simple. I called and left a message. They texted back a few minutes later. I asked for a weekend day at a specific time for 2. They had it available and I received a text confirmation. We arrived a few minutes early and only had to wait 5-10 minutes. We did see a Groupon but they honored the price at the spa. We had to remind them at the desk. They ask you to pay upfront, which was no problem and you can add tip after. They take all the payment methods, including Zelle, very convenient. We went as a girls afternoon spa day. It is clean, the staff is welcoming and the service was very relaxing. I don't really know how to fairly rate my experience, as this is the first time I've had a professional massage and scalp treatment. It was nice and relaxing, sure, and I guess I was thinking the scalp portion would involve more vigorous exfoliation or something like that. The massage was somewhat deep, the scalp massage quite gentle. They looked at my scalp up close at the start and end of treatment. They said the scalp was a little oily (well, yeah, I knew I was getting my scalp treated and hair washed). Then at the end they said it looked better. Looked the same to me! I don't deal with dandruff or anything like that, so there probably wasn't much change to see in the first place. Service was nice and friendly and, again, quite relaxing. The lady offered us a 10min massage for an extra $10. That doesn't mean you substitute part of the treatment with the massage...and on top of that, charge more. What you did is called a "Bait & Switch" and it's illegal. Since I can't message you directly, our appt was June 7th at 0900. We expect a refund. Came here with a friend. Bought the 90min service from Groupon. The lady talked us into paying an extra $10 each for an extra 10min massage. We were thinking the extra 10min was on top of the 90min treatment. I had appointments for 4pm for a friend and I. We were 6 minutes late and when we arrived they had taken another couple who they assumed was us... with that being said we were asked if we could reschedule. We are not locals, we drove an hour+. She rescheduled us for 7pm as we did not want to have to comeback another day. We had no choice but to stick around and find something to do in the area for 3 hours. This was an unfortunate situation but we were both at fault, I should of called her to let her know we were a couple minutes behind and she was at fault because she shouldn't have just assumed that couple was her 4pm appointment without verifying their names. However, this goes to show how extremely important customer service is, the lady who was attending us was very apologetic and was trying her best to see us and fit us into her already fully booked schedule. She was very sweet, welcoming and playful. When we came back at 7pm she took great care of us and included a 20 minute back massage for the inconvenience. The place is nice and clean and parking was available right in front. This was my first time getting the hair spa treatment and idk but for me it wasn't as relaxing as I expected it to be, there is a lot of noise with water jets, and water suction, the shower heads. My daughter and I both got the 90 minute full head/scalp treatment. When you first arrive they quickly show you your scalp on a magnified video. Then they take you to a curtained off private room where you remove your shirt and bra straps and lay down with a blanket covering you. They then proceed to do the scalp treatment, quick blow dry, and a back/shoulder massage. We paid a little extra for a 10 minute foot massage. The pricing is fair (they match groupon rates), the staff was very friendly, the atmosphere was tranquil, and the treatment was relaxing and my scalp did feel invigorated. I've been wanting to visit a head spa, so when I saw the offer on Groupon, I decided to try it with my sisters. Amy (I think that's her name) was very kind and did an overall good job. Here's my takeaway. I'll start with what needs improvement: -The scalp inspection under the magnifier was done too quickly. Less than 1 minute. We didn't get enough info on causes, tips or care that can be done to help our scalp. There's no privacy when your scalp is checked. It's just one chair station in an open area not far from the spa beds. I did not see them sanitizing the magnifier in between customers. This should be done since it touches other people's scalp. We also felt a bit hurried to the spa bed. There was no post hydrotherapy scalp check. -The water was a bit too hot at times on my scalp. I had to ask for the temperature to be turned down a bit and they obliged right away. -The tool they used to rub your scalp (green) would sometimes feel like they were rubbing too hard. -A bit of a language barrier. -Lastly, we gave a good tip for the service but I gave it to one person who welcomed us in when we arrived; thinking they would distribute it to their co workers. So as we were preparing to leave, a man asked us if we left a tip? I told him I had already given it to one of them, plus my sister also gave to the other girls prior. He spoke to them & cleared it up (hopefully) cause they didn't say anything afterwards. Next time, I'll make sure to distribute tips individually. This just made me feel uncomfortable. I've been to several spas and know to always tip. On a positive note: Overall, I'd say for my first experience at this spa, I would most likely give this place another try. My sisters said they enjoyed the experience & thought the employees did a pretty good job with relaxation. They said they'd probably do it again. The spa and beds seemed clean. You are separated by curtains between other customers. The lighting was low & the ambiance was relaxing. They emphasized quietness when communicating as to not disturb others. Having someone wash your hair and massage your head gently is relaxing. The shoulder and neck massage was great! I rate this part highly! I don't know if they offer a full body massage but if they do I would probably add it next time. They don't have a website & I didn't see a menu of their services/prices on here, so that would be nice to see next time. You call and book an appointment directly and they text you a confirmation and reminder. You can also Zelle payments/tips. The owner also said they're willing to match Groupon prices & suggested we book them directly next time. If I could offer a suggestion, maybe offer a blowout with the service. It'd be so much nicer to sit in a style chair after the head spa & have your hair professionally blow dried with a round brush than just quickly drying it on the spa bed. That way patrons can leave feeling finished and complete rather than having frizzy looking hair. They should also announce to you what treatment they are applying at every step. You don't know what shampoo/conditioner they're using, or tools or what they're doing next. I felt that the hydrotherapy waterfall towards the end could've been shortened.
