I went in to Dr. Head Spa today for a scalp treatment. It was my first time getting a treatment like this. My friend called and asked if they had two spots within the next hour and they called us back right away and told us to come in. So appointment availability was very easy. I saw Vicky for the 90 min scalp treatment I loved the laying down massage chair and the halo water. She was amazing! This place has many other services. I noticed many people coming in to get their lashes done. I went in for a much needed facial. I am glad I went in and had the hydrofacial with Amy. She made my face glow and did a much needed extraction on my nose and one near my eye. I was a little hesitant but I am glad I gave this place a try. Just found this place on Yelp and came for a 90-minute head spa session. The spa is clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly. I had a private area for my service, along with a massage chair. The service was lovely- very pleasant and relaxing. My scalp felt so clean after and my hair was so soft. Not the relaxing experience I was expecting .. I received the 90min head spa that is originally 135$ but since it was my first time I paid 115$ which was not worth it in my Opinion let me explain . As I go into a curtained off area in an eyelash salon no privacy. The treatment started with a little facial which was not horrible . The water was so hot she asked me if it was too hot I said yeah then it was cold lol I'd rather have cold than hot since it's Was better for my hair she giggled and said she couldn't control the temp. As the washing began I started noticing my hair was getting more and more knotted I was cringing when she proceeded to rip a brush through my hair wet ! As backstory my hair is chemically treated so it tends to get knotted quite easily. The massage and scalp massage was ok .. the best part was the massage chair. the whole time I tried to relax full blown loud conversations were happening over my face with other co workers coming in and out of my treatment room which sucks I was really looking forward to relaxing and maybe taking a nap . Getting up after the treatment my hair was in a full knotted mess I had to try to untangle it myself drying it made it worst I just told her to leave it the rest of the equipment didn't even work because she couldn't run anything through my hair due to the knots . Getting changed to leave I looked at the products used they were all cheap !! My hair was in shambles. Charging 100$-135$ for lack luster treatment and cheap products is wild ! Felt like a total rip off especially since it is far from how the treatments are advertised WOULD NOT reccomend .. I hope this helps the next person save some money read more
