I've been to a few estheticians in my life and only done one facial before this. I gotta say I love Gaby! She is very very good and explained the process. She tailored my facial to my skin! She gave me the option of doing the micro dermabrasion (which i originally was hoping in for) or the hydro dermabrasion (this one she suggested because if my skin concerns of dryness and dullness!). The process was painless and soothing. She added some vitamin c to also help my skin. At the end she let me see what was pulled out and it looked like kombucha... or as my friend put it, lemonade.. I really do appreciate Gaby as not only did she tailor my facial to my needs but she accommodated me and that is not something I see in many private estheticians. In desperate need to remedy my acne ridden skin, it started with a Groupon deal for 2 Aquadermabrasion facials for $75 back in September 2022. I was contacted by Gaby to coordinate when I could come in and get my first facial. I met with her at the Fontana location at the beginning of October and explained to her my skin concerns, my skin care routine and what my future skin goals are. Since then, I've been going to Gaby for facials on a monthly basis and have seen noticeable results in the texture and look of my skin. She's texted me each time of covid protocols and appointment reminders as well as coming in to see her sooner when she has a cancellation. My review is in regards to their Groupon and their fine print. It is not specific in stating only new clients. It states NOT VALID FOR CLIENTS ACTIVE WITHIN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. Others on Groupon state can only purchase every ... days. If their Groupon would clearly state only new clients I would not have purchased it. Yes I will get a full refund in 10 days but that is not the point. They need to word their fine print properly. The last time I had gotten a service was in September 2020. I understand that they use Groupon to attract new clients but they should honor it for returning clients. It should clearly state not valid for returning clients. Gaby is great and even though she's changed aestheticians on me last minute I didn't mind. Scheduling can be annoying but the services are worth it. I did the hydradermabrasion facial and it did wonders for my skin. The second and third day i could tell my skin was a little irritated and sensitive and I got what looked like a rash on my chin and cheek but by the 6th day my skin had never looked so clear. I had a Groupon which I paid $39 for a $190 microdermabrasion facial. I thought that was a great deal and was very excited. When I called to schedule the facial, I was told that I only paid for a 20 minute session (hardly worth it), but I could "upgrade" to the $190 service for an additional $20. Ok. Fine. I was willing to do that... still a good deal. HOWEVER, before they would even let me schedule an appointment, I had to fill out a lengthy invasive questionaire AND provide a credit card. My financial identity was compromised last year, so I informed the receptionist that I was NOT inclined to provide my credit card number, especially in light of the fact that I had already paid for the service! She told me she could not schedule me. That is ridiculous and very frustrating. What about people who do not have a credit card... I do, but I was not willing to give it to her. It was an unnecessary transaction and an extremely disappointing experience. I will NEVER frequent an establishment that makes it so difficult.
