Yuyu and Nancy were amazing -- kind, patient, and incredibly skilled. They gave us so much relief and we left feeling absolutely incredible. I was surprised to see some negative comments about paying upfront and tipping. Paying upfront is understandable for this type of business, as I'm sure people have tried to skip out of paying and the comments about tipping - seriously? getting a massage is hands-on, physical labor -- tipping should absolutely be expected! For starters I was in agonizing pain during my massage because my masseuse thought i said i want hard tissue when all the while i was saying "too hard". Secondly, i was told i had to pay prior to my service. Where do they do that at? Third that's a $2 charge just to use my card They went up on the prices. Earlier this year i use to pay $40 for an hour back massage and tipped generously bc of the good price they went up by $10 and still expect you to tip what a joke Lastly, the straw that broke the camel's back was my masseuse and another woman sitting at the entrance DEMANDING a tip!! Found this place via groupon. Decent deal, so I thought I'd give it a try. It was decorated in a cute, sort of weird, way. Much more so than any other comparable reflexology place I'd been to. Massage was so so. I basically paid for a lotion rub. Not enough pressure, even after asking for more pressure. The big disappointment was that I paid for 60 minutes. They stopped at around 50 and had left the room a couple times during the 50 minutes. I brought it up and it was kind of a shoulder shrug response. I will not go back to this location. Terrible customer service. Rude and would not let me leave until I tipped them "generously" for a half assed massage.

Very upset and displeased with the service I was provided. The first time my gal and I came in it was amazing but this time I came in alone. I live 15 miles from this location so it's a long drive from all the other foot massage locations. The massage was good but my massage therapist at the very end asked if I wanted oil on my back. She never mentioned it was $5 more so be very cautious not to agree to anything offered without asking if it cost extra. When I tried to check out with my Groupon at $19 cost it would not go through. So I ended up being charged a total of $31 Not the discount I was looking for but more importantly the lady was extremely rude and very unprofessional when I was closing out my bill. This used to be my favorite massage place, until today. I had been coming here for 5 years and always enjoyed the friendly service, but after today, will never go back. It makes me sad that a place I loved to much made me so stressed this morning. My fiancé and I rarely get time to ourselves, so since we had the morning off while our son was in Kindergarten, decided to book our first-ever couples massage. At about 10:05 a.m, I called to see if we could get a couples massage at 10:30, and I was told, "yes." When we got there at 10:25, there was only one person working there. She charged me for the massage beforehand, which I though was strange but agreed to since I had never had any bad experiences there before. Even though I told her I wanted to add a tip, she did not know how and I ended up paying in two transactions, just to make sure that I took care of them properly. Then she lead us back to a room, where we got ready for our massages. Although we were ready at 10:30, the one worker struggled to answer phone calls and turn two other walk-in customers away because they did not have enough staff. At 10:40, she finally came into our room and started to massage my face. Seconds into the massage, the phone rang and she got up to answer the phone. She then struggled to tell that customer that she was busy. When she finally came back to our room, I struggled to ask her if there was anyone else working. She said, "5 minutes," then after struggling for several minutes with a translating app on her phone, I told her we would not start our one hour massage until there were 2 people there. Since we could not understand each other with the app, I finally told her that I wanted to talk to the owner. The owner apologized and said that they were really sorry that the other worker should have shown up, but did not, and asked us to wait. I told her that we could not wait, and that was why we made an appointment. If they had not been able to accommodate us at 10:30, I would have found another place that could. I told them that I wanted a refund and got dressed. Nobody should ever be that stressed on a massage table! By the time we got to the front desk for our refund, it was already 11:00 and the other worker still had not shown up. If they had agreed to give us couples massages, they should have had at least 3 staff there, two to give the massages that they had already charged us for, and one person that could communicate with customers and answer the phone. Then, the worker could not figure out how to give the refund, and forced us to wait for 20 minutes, while the worker had the owner on speaker on the phone, who had Wells Fargo on speaker, in order to figure out how to finally issue us a refund. Instead of leaving the massage place after nearly one hour relaxed, we left completely disappointed and stressed out. It's sad that a place that used to be so great has become completely unprofessional and unreliable. To make matters worse, the worker laughed most of the time, like it wasn't a big deal that she couldn't do her job, or she didn't care that our morning had been ruined due to their incompetence. Just in one morning, this business lost the $101 dollars that they refunded us, all of my future business, and at least four other massages that they turned away because they weren't adequately staffed. This place used to feel like such a nice family business, but all of the old staff are gone. Now it just seems like a business that is better at losing money than making money. Was greeted by a very nice lady (Mei?) at the front desk. I had purchased a groupon for the 1 hr foot reflexology and upon arrival, the woman said they would not accept it after 2pm. I had read other reviews about them not accepting groupons sometimes so I guess I was not surprised. I told her I could just pay an extra $5 and she was ok with that. The facility is nice in that even for a foot reflexology, you're placed in individual rooms as opposed to a communal area. I get foot reflexology massages all the time and honestly this was the worst one I have ever gotten! I know this is probably masseuse specific, but the woman who was massaging me was barely pressing me. I even politely asked her to "press harder" a few times, but something about the way she massaged just wasn't right. It's like she wasn't paying attention to my body at all. She was also yawning the entire time, so maybe today was just an off day for her. Anyways, I left pretty disappointed since this was a treat for me and I was really looking forward to it. When I left, I politely told the owners at the front that my massage wasn't very good--more for feedback rather than to critique or get back anything in return (not going to complain too much for a $20 massage), but they just shrugged their shoulders and smiled. $20 for 1 hr reflexology "Nana" was my masseuse. Pretty gentle for my preference but thorough. I'm sure she's capable of ridding you of any knots but for this session, I was just trying to relax. I was expecting a face mask as advertised on the window and mentioned by others but I didn't get one. They offer cupping and scraping. Very traditional Chinese. Our daughters had given us a gift certificate for a one hour couples massage. I asked if the massage covered the feet and he said no. It was 20.00 extra for each of us, which I felt is reasonable. They took us into a low lit room with two massage beds. The room was decorated with pinkish colored lights and ivy. Meditation music was playing in the background and wasn't playing too low or too loud. I had an Asian female masseuse and my wife had an Asian male. The massage was good and she used the right amount of pressure. She had good strong hands for a female. My wife said the male masseuse did a good job too. So we're laying there waiting to get our massage and finally after 10 minutes someone starts massaging her without announcing herself. While she was massaging by her head she was burping uncontrollably which caused me to lose it. My girlfriend and I were busting up laughing because she had to endure the smell of her breath. About 10 minutes after she begun I finally get a lady to work on me. I kid you not this lady used barely any pressure. Mei worked on my husband. My husband does not usually like to get massages because he has many joint and muscle problems. Mei found them all without prompting and worked patiently on them--greatly improving his flexibility. He was very impressed, which is hard to do! My only complaint is I wish they had more staff so Mei didn't need to interrupt her massages to answer the phone. But you can really tell they care about the customers--from the heart shapes cut out of the paper towels on the pillows, to the roses on the towels neatly folded on the beds, to the flowers and twinkly lights on the faux ceilings, Mayflower wants its customers to have a pleasant and relaxing experience! read more

I received a groupon for a back massage with hot stones to this place. Initially I was very excited to go get one but upon entering the building I noticed that it looks very cheaply done. The ladies did not speak much English so there was a lot of confusion trying to figure out what I was even there for. They then took me to a smaller room where the massage was performed. The lady struggled to inform me of what she wanted me to do in regards to the towels and what clothing should be on or off. You can also hear the other people in the salon who are also getting services so it is not as relaxing as you expect it to be. I also tried to tip the lady at the end of the massage by using my credit card. The lady did not understand how to use the stripe account so she had to FaceTime her boss to figure out how to unlock straight for me to tip her. This ended up taking another 15 minutes to even try to give a tip. I would recommend this for anyone who is on a budget for a massage but if you can't afford to go to someplace that is a little more professional I would recommend that. I have been coming to Mayflower for 10 plus years. I used to get my massages from Mei herself or her husband. They were both excellent! I went in a few days ago for a one hour back massage. The lady charged me up front which I thought was strange. I had never had to do that in the past. Once my massage started I felt really hot and began sweating. I felt the sweat drip down my nose. I didn't know if it was because I was covered in a blanket instead of a towel. I felt uncomfortable and almost told to her stop the massage. I didn't realize until I turned over which was almost half of the massage time that there was some sort of lining on table that I was laying on. I was sweating so much the lady herself noticed and told me my body was wet. I asked her if the air was on, but she didn't understand me. She didn't massage my lower back or any part of the front of my legs. During my massage she was trying to tell me something but I wasn't understanding her. She then put her hand on my private twice! I never was able to make out was she was trying to tell me but she should have NEVER touch me there. I felt uncomfortable. On my way out I handed her a $10 tip. After I handed her the tip it sounded like she was asking me for more money. After going back and forth due to the language barrier she had her hand out and asked me for an additional $10. I was ignorant for giving it to her. She mentioned something about working on the back of my neck more. She never asked me or told me she would do that nor did I ask for anything extra. I ended tipping her almost half of what my massage cost $50. I walked out of there so disappointed. It saddens me that I will never return there after so many years. We first heard of them when they were passing out flyers in our neighborhood and didn't even realize they were so close! We decided to give them a try and have been going regularly since then. They've always been friendly and professional each time we came. I like that we can go into separate areas instead of being in one big room with other people talking or making noise. I find the rooms relaxing and the temperature is comfortable. My husband and I have been there a few times and have enjoyed each session. We are able to have our reflexology and massages side by side in the same room by two different practitioners who do their thing quietly and efficiently. I get a cooling mask but my husband just gets a towel. Maybe it's a girl thing? For those that haven't had reflexology, it's different than when you get a massage at a chain spa place. Sometimes, I even feel a little dizzy afterward so I know I really need to drink a lot of water to flush out my system. I would highly recommend it! The pricing is VERY reasonable. My husband and I can each have an hour long session for cheaper than one chain massage with tip, and we could have 4 people go for the price of one massage at a resort spa. Just try it! read more
