It's also obviously a family affair since I'm fairly certain I was the only one there who didn't know anyone. But the way they spoke about mutual friends/family was really evident. Everyone knew who they were speaking about. I thought the prices were definitely reasonable. I won't comment on my result since someone doing your hair for the first time is going in blind (and I've had people who have done mine several times come out looking like they're going in blind). But it definitely did look awesome. It's quaint, but they offer you drinks (even wine). My one complaint would be the space is too small. Every station was taken and they were even sharing stations (not in a weird way AT ALL) just to get someone in the chair, in the dryer and in the sink. But overall experience was definitely higher end and I will be back (hopefully with Hannah). I do miss the days of living in the city and having one person completely dedicated to color and another completely dedicated to style...that being said they don't have the space for that so not going to try to say something negative about that. If you're nearby, I truly suggest you check it out.

They were responsive and polite and Nicole does a fantastic job on my cut and color. They just got a fresh interior redo so the space is bright, open, and friendly. There's an expanded shopping section full of Moroccan Oil, Amica, and RedKen products. The only negative is they don't answer the phone or return phone calls, so you have to do everything on the website, which can be confusing the first time you're booking.

She pointed to post-it note signage on the desk that was dated for January 1st, but I hadn't been there since last October, so there's no way I could have known. I politely vocalized my disappointment about this twice, said I wish I had been made aware since I would have brought cash, and she went on to gently say it was only 5 dollars. It seems unfair to not notify customers about this policy before the appointment- they send a reminder text so it wouldn't be difficult. I am not sure if I will be returning on principle.

When my scheduled appointment time came around my assigned stylist was still cutting someone else's hair, and I had to wait 20mins until she finished the previous clients hair until they were finished. I was not greeted by my stylish, but just placed at another station until they finished. When the stylist was finally done with their client, I was not apologized too for having to wait 25 mins after my schedule appt time which I was on time for. If I am required to put a credit card on file to ensure I make my appt time, I would expect my stylist to make sure they at least greeted me and apologized for running who behind our schedule time. I never received a text message or call that they were running behind. Had I known I would have adjusted my own schedule for that day. Once the stylist came over I was greeted with a cold greeting and not even apologized to for having to wait 25 mins past my appt time. This unfortunately is not the first time I have had a subpar experience at this salon. Maybe I had an one off experience, but for the amount of money a consumer pays to get their hair done, this sort of Behavior is just not acceptable.
