Dunn Tire has great customer service when you're face to face. Dunn Tire has crummy service online, not face to face, etc. It started when I requested an appointment for new tires. Didn't hear anything from them until 2 days out saying that appointment is no longer available. Had email correspondence with someone and had to wait an extra few weeks because every time I said, "yep I can take that appointment!" It was no longer available by the time I emailed back (which was always same day, if not within the same hour). After all the runaround I finally got an appointment 2 weeks after my first attempt at an appointment. Dropped the car off, got the estimate, they let me use a coupon. Very nice and easy process. Told me it would be about an hour. It ended up being almost 3 hours, I panicked because I had to get to work. I called to check the status and was put on hold and gave up after 12 minutes and figured it still wasn't ready. Eventually they called 2 hrs 45 mins later and it was done. they are always available when you need them, I highly recommend Jeremy. he knowns his job, is efficient and makes recommendations if he sees something that's not right and needs repair, he doesn't recommend unnecessary work that's not needed. I'll go back again read more

I have been going to Dunn Tire for new tires and service for many (30) years. The employees use to be friendly, know your name when you walked in and with a hometown kind of atmosphere. Now it's just business and to see how much they can charge you. Not friendly -just business like. Next time I need tires or service I will consider going somewhere else. read more

Got completely scammed by these people. They did a rotor job on my car even though I did it not even a year ago, the guy said he was going to check my account and he said they were overdue. Well when I got home I checked my car paperwork and he was wrong, they owe me over $500 for the services that they did that did not need to be done. Do not take your car here. Have used Dunn for last time. Three of my BMW rims were scratched and gouged. Dunn told me they would have them repaired. I would receive a call from a specialist. No call yet after one week. Also, the filth of the tires was shocking. When you buy a new car is is always clean. After paying over $950 the tires should at least be black, not a filthy brown. My wife and I came in with a flat tire at about 1 PM, after being completely denied by 2 other Dunn tire locations. I had a nail right in the middle of the tire, a simple plug was only needed. I would have loved to just do it myself, but that voids the warranty. No emergency service available what-so-ever at Sheridan or Transit. "You can make an appointment in 2 weeks" is what they said. The Lockport location said "We can only help you on Monday". I told them I had already been to 2 other locations, had to keep filling air, etc. The DUNN DOZEN is an ABSOLUTE FRAUD. I had to threaten to call corporate for them to agree to fix the tire (a 2 minute fix). I'm glad they finally did it, but I'm ashamed that I recommended DUNN to my father, brother, sister, and our significant others. Forget about the DUNN DOZEN, unless you want to fight to get what you paid for. Horrible business. read more

Terrible customer service. They lost the paperwork from our payment on tires and almost had us pay double. After challenging the fact it was paid I was called ignorant? What a clown of a manager and store. We spent over 1200 dollars on tires to be treated like garbage, questioned and even called names. What a joke. read more

After being jerked around by Walmart it was refreshing to have a great customer service experience. To start with they answer their phones witch is a massive improvement from Walmart and a few other car shops who don't need to be named. Their prices are fair and have options that fit most budgets. At the time of writing this there are a couple negative reviews, it is my opinion that they are complete overreactions from a couple "Karen's". The waiting room is also very comfortable with complimentary coffee, nice air conditioning, and a soda machine. read more

Here I sit. It's 12:30, an hour and a half after my 11:00AM appointment. I called 2 weeks ago to arrange to have my summer tires removed and my snow tires, already on rims, installed. Oh man, Dunn got me again! They always say "it won't take that long if you have an appointment." I made the necessary adjustments in my life to be here on time. They are now at TWICE the length of time this job should have taken. I made an appointment, as they requested, and reconfirmed it in person YESTERDAY. There is no acceptable excuse. They should have had the snow tires and rims out of storage and waiting this AM. On top of this outrageously poor service, the bathroom here at the Lockport Dunn is filthy! read more

Terrible to say the least. I brought a tire and wheel in because the cords were showing (tie rod was bad). I also brought in a good used tire for them to put on my rim to which they agreed. My wife picked up the tire/rim after paying $35 and when I opened the trunk, low and behold they balanced the old tire with cords showing!!! How is this even possible?? I took it back the next day and asked the manager if they could balance it because it was a little wobbly. They said absolutely not, that's a road hazard and dangerous!! I said that's funny because they just did that exact thing yesterday. They were able to find the good used tire that I brought in, it was in their scrap pile! They remedied the issue but the trust is gone. I did tires for 5 years at Chevrolet Dealership, been wrenching for 25+ years so I have an idea how things work. Dunn tire in Lockport gave me the shaft. my car had a flat in my driveway. I removed it and took it to Dunn tire on Robinson rd. a very small nail had punctured the tire about 1 1/2 inch in from the edge a tread. they said it could not be repaired. not wanting to argue, I purchased a new identical tire for $304. I asked for my old tire and was told again it was beyond repair and it would be illegal to give it to me. when I returned home, I looked up my exact tire and found out it had a road hazard warranty. I returned to Dunn tire and was told because they didn't take tire off car warranty did not apply.(I guess they expected me to drive there with a flat tire). they then told me because the tire came on a new car the warranty didn't apply(why?). the 70000 mile tread wear tire only had 7000 miles on it. I asked why no one at Dunn mentioned the replacement warranty on my tire, they said it was my fault for not knowing the warranty. their next excuse was the tire came on a new car and had no warranty at all. I believe they kept my old tire in order to get a free replacement from the maker and charged me full price for the new tire. when I told them none of their excuses held up, they told me to leave and threatened to call the police. So much for customer service. I will continue to fight for what's right and will never do business or recommend Dunn tire to any one. read more

Hi, this is my 2nd time using your service. I bought 2 sets of tires last fall & 2 oil changes in June. The tech service part has been fine, but the front desk (all my comments are with the exception of Angel, he seems perfectly suited for that position). I dont think Ive ever been greeted with smile & a friendly greeting. The guys seem to be in the wrong positions for there personality or attitude if customer service is the goal. The 1st time we received service, there was a customer on the phone for probably 15-20 minutes debating with someone at the main office claiming that he was lied to regarding the tire price. This last time one of the front desk workers was on the phone with a boss trying to describe why a customer was unhappy with his service. Frankly, this does not instill confidence. I also had to ask for an oil change tire rotation sticker after each vehicle yesterday, and was told you stopped doing it because the covid? I don't understand what covid has to do with putting a sticker inside the windshield. The service techs have to get inside your car twice to drive it in to the garage and back out. This is a bit absurd since they touch my door handles, my keys, steering wheel, shifter and possibly mirrors. I dont think adding a sticker is any more intrusive. Dunn Tire does a lot of promotion on TV and your website seems nice which is what brought me to you. In the past Ive used the Goodyear Tire store on Transit near Main, it's a half hour drive but they treat you like you're important.. They make everyone feel welcome & treat their customers well. Ive been there numerous times & never once saw someone dissatisfied with their service. At this point probably wont go back. read more

Dunn tire does not stand by their product as they claim. Spent $650 on tires less than a year and a half ago and they are garbage, won't pass inspection. We drive about 15,000 miles a year with normal road conditions. Have rotations done regularly. Employees we dealt with were rude and less than helpful. Have been a customer for years but never again. Save your time, money, and aggravation and go someplace else. read more

Had an appointment to have my tires rotated. Was 5 minutes early for the appointment. Waited a half hour after I checked in and my truck had not moved from where I parked it. Did not have the time to wait any longer. Thank God I didn't require something that was complicated or required to drive the vehicle, I'd still be there. read more

After spending $700 for tires, went in to have them check the torque after 25 miles. Rep at the counter couldn't be bothered, told me to drive to first bay and someone would do it immediately. Waited 30 minutes no one came out. Had to leave for work. Spent a total of 40 minutes there for nothing. Go somewhere where your business is appreciated. read more

bought new tires tires do nothing but leak air went back two weeks after buying them they put air in tires 2 weeks later needed I travel and when the check air light comes on and 180 miles from home it did not make me happy another hassle to stop and have to put air in brand new tires so I go back again and they say replaced air stems but it will be at least 3 hours before we can get to you 3 hours plus they other delays it is not worth my time to be a dunn tire customer I would like to to (-5 stars) I apologize for being a customer never had problems like this at Walmart read more

Lockport NY Had a 2:00 appointment and arrived 15 minutes before. Was asked if I was going to wait and I asked if they were running on time and they said yes no delays so I said I would run down to the market and be back in a while. Arrived back 45 minutes later and the truck was still parked. Asked what was happening and was told they promise 90 minute turn around and that it was only 2:30. So I left again and returned at 3:45 and my truck was still in the air. No one said sorry we are running a bit behind or anything like that. They pretty much ignored me.So I waited another 15 minutes in our other vehicle with my wife and then went back into the store at 4:00 when they finally brought my truck outside. I waited for them to call my name while listening to their phone ring just about continually going unanswered the full time I waited. No one was rushing around or looking like they were busy, just slow and not caring. A couple private conversations between employees were taking place at which time I jumped in to ask what was happening since my truck had been parked outside and I was still waiting. Finally checked me out and I left at 4:10. Today I go on line to claim my Goodyear rebate and find out they used information from a 2010 truck that I no longer owned and didn't use the correct info on the 2015 truck they were putting new tires on which they had done a tire repair on a couple months back. No one checked to be sure they had the correct vehicle? Next time I will shop at another local tire dealer and Dunn will lose a long time customer. read more
