Decided to stop in for the beyond sausage breakfast patty. Location is shared with baskin robins which was nice HOWEVER seating consists of three chairs in the front with a view of the street (bar type seating), and there was a small table near the cash register. We were able to dine in because someone left out. Sand-which reminds me of turkey sausage. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. I ordered a caramel frappe which was great, actually the best Frappe I'd ever had....you could actually taste the coffee. I also ordered a side of hash browns. Hash browns were lukewarm, tasted a bit old, and I didn't care for the seasoning on the hash browns. The other issue was that the cashier spoke terrible English, it was very hard to understand her, and she could barely comprehend us. We had to repeat things several times, and she also had to repeat herself. There are tons of locations so I'm sure we would have an easier transaction going to another location. Store is way to small for Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin Robbins. Parking is paid, side street, no lot.

The $.299 huge banner for a small coffee and a donut! But if you ask for this the workers say NO!

This DD is the worst! I take the bus to work and back home so I'm always trying to get a breakfast sandwich or something hot to drink while I wait for the bus but the employees here are always confused with my order and they always get it wrong...i asked for a bagel with cream cheese and jelly cut in half, the guy gave me butter and didn't cut the bagel. Not only do they get the orders wrong they argue with the customers this workers are very rude...today just like every day for the past 2 or 3 months I saw the banner outside on both sides of the store advertising 1 coffee and a donut for $2.99 so i go inside the store and i placed my order the lady looks at me confused and asked one of her coworkers to help out I asked the guy for the coffee and donut for $2.99 i pointed out to the huge banner outside the store and he said no they don't have that anymore...i trying telling him i was just there 2 days ago and it wasn't a problem but he said no that promotion is old months ago and yet the banner is hanging outside the store. I will not be going back here and i hope this DD moves to a different location. This employees are rude and don't care about the customer.

    Don't go here for donuts

After my first experience I told myself I wasn't go anymore because they gave me old donuts. I walked in today thinking maybe it will be different. I went to the cashier and asked if the dozen donuts was still on promo for $6.99. Cashier said "not anymore. I actually looked at the screen and saw it was still $6.99. She then has someone else pack my donuts for me. That worker asked if I wanted it mix and I said yes. She goes ahead puts any donuts in the box when I'm waiting to tell her what I wanted. I did get the donuts I wanted and when I went home, my glazed blueberry donut was turned over. I turned it back over to the glazed side and noticed holes in the donuts. The salty worker gave me the worst kind donut. For the general manager, please provide the necessary knowledge and proper etiquettes to your employees. For future consumers, before walking away with your half/dozen box of donuts, check it because it could well in fact be destroyed or expired.

Tropical "Mango Smoothie" (just slush and sour mango bits)
    Diana C.

This review is based solely on the Tropical Mango Smoothie and the Coffee Roll. **The two stars given are because: 1: They're new and located at a convenient spot. 2: ..I'm giving them a chance. I had recently tried the Tropical Mango Smoothie at a Jackson Heights Dunkin Donuts location, and it was THE BEST. If it were placed inside a nameless, logo - less cup, you would have never guessed that it was from Dunkin. It was that good. It was creamy, thick, and tasted like pure mango. My bf got this smoothie for me in a medium sized cup. It was perf. NOW, Let's discribe the Tropical Mango Smoothie here: It sucked. Big time. The only size they offered was a small. They didn't run out of medium cups, they just only offer small. And I was perfectly okay with that the second I took a sip of the "smoothie." It was sour, not creamy, not enough mango, and once I took the 4th sip, it was just slushy ice with bits of sour mango. :c This made me not trust all future mango smoothies, ever again. But there is hope... at the Jackson Heights location. Now, I also wanted to try the Glazed Coffee Roll. I don't come into Dunkin Donuts often, but when I do I like to order something new, something I haven't tried yet. So I assumed this Glazed "Coffee Roll" would taste like what the name states...coffee. But NOPE. No coffee. At all. Not even a hint of coffee. It was literally one of those glazed cinnamon rolls you get at food carts outside. Maybe that's what you eat with coffee? I don't know. But if it is, don't call it a coffee roll. :( the mockery you make of true coffee rolls is insane. Had I ordered hash browns and had they appeared to be soggy and not warm enough... this would have been a negative 500 stars. Everyone knows their hash browns is what matters. Hash browns anywhere matters most. So there is hope. Fix the Tropical Mango Smoothie & rename that false roll you got there... and all shall be fine.

It's not horrible but they have a hard time taking orders correctly and the trash is always overflowing for some reason. Also out of napkins about 30% of the time..

Small but well laid out Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins. I really came in for ice cream. No Rockyroad! they only have 16 flavors that I counted. Ended up getting three large cups one vanilla, chocolate and pralines and cream. Last minute at the register I decided to get medium ice mocha latte which was made wrong but I decided not to make a stink about it because the guy looked like he was very new to the whole Dunkin donuts thing. So I tired to drink it but I just threw it out as I left the store. Hence for me removing one star. The customer service was good even though it was busy as I entered and the line wasn't moving as quick as other Dunkin locations do but again this location is brand new and the staff seem like there working out the flow of people. With anything new in Woodside they have to be ready to handle the crowds of people. Good luck with the Sunday Mass crowd that will come through. All in all has a modern style with there cream granite countertops and a nice soft two person booth in the back.

    Nice, clean and friendly place

We decided to get the tres Leche, strawberry, blackout, and red velvet. Strawberry one tasted like a Pocky stick, delicious! Tres Leche was a second fave amongst the kids, and then the blackout. Full of flavor and right amount of sweetness. The red velvet was the least favorite as it didn't give much red velvet flavor and was lacking something we couldn't put our finger on it. They were young, energetic, and a hard working bunch, Eastern European sounding . They are fierce in their added charges at the register- the likes of which I have never seen in the coffee shop/ donut world. First & Last visit. Too mich of a culture clash. How I was treated here would not fly or last One minute in North Shore Nassau -.But here in Brooklyn this is a bustling coffee & donut shop with all seats taken and a line for take out. Donuts & coffee both good - Good. Experience a no go. They were pre- occupied with added fees. it's all they mentioned with each donut picked. It went like this - "A dozen doughnuts please" and I began pointing at quite regular looking donuts (all in the same rows) or so I thought. " thats a dollar extra" ( boston creme) hm ok " thats a dollar extra" ( coconut creme) hm ok " thats a dollar extra" ( boston creme stick) hm ok " thats a dollar extra" ( french cruller white icing hm ok " thats a dollar extra" (french cruller chocolate icing) hm ok " Two small coffees also please " HM are those the small?? I kid you not they were TINY kid sized The cup size I have never seen before. They must special order them for samples or something. Ok so "They are wayyy too tiny so - medium please" Out came the typical small sized cup - Hmm so ok. Let's ring and go I'm thinking. Next the woman is struggling with a paper by the register trying to figure out the coat of this dozen donuts (plus five with her added $1's) - then more struggle and I said " it's a dozen plus $5" thats $29.50". "Oh no you don't have a dozen". Apparently the extra $5 disqualified my "dozen". I know what you're thinking but No- no special donuts from some other case - no coffee rolls etc - i'm a NY'er and know a donut from a special roll etc. You need to buy five more for a dozen. "Oh? No, I have a dozen and am paying you five up charges as you stated." Next thing she is ringing the donuts individually Plus the extra $5 Which makes NO sense. But gets her another added $5 or so. Why would they keep quoting me add ons to my dozen if no dozen existed once you added a Boston creme etc. She raced to the manager. The Brooklynites thought ne a mean old lady for saying you're overcharging me'. The manager flew over - a young man huffy and emphatic that the five very ordinary donuts that were $5 more converted my dozen to a different price per donut. Then they said something funny to me - "would you like me to take those out and give you regular donuts?". No. (See update for more) " No those are the ones I want " but you just over charged me - I'll take them. But you are overcharging me. Thank you. Holy mackerel - just glad to be on the way out WITH the donuts of course- I was not furious or anything- and the donuts were never at risk- I'd not walk out on the donuts - My advice is to be more transparent in pricing and not deem very basic donuts special donuts - making your customers feel ripped off.- Better just to charge more for the dozen. And.. like other shops put any supposed special donuts in a special donut area - like coffee rolls, big fritters etc. That's how it's Typically done. This is New York! You can't pull that here. This is a place where people pay $6 for a good cookie. They are not cheap. Don't be weird at the register. And those cups Come on - are you KIDding me - pun intended. I left holding on to my wallet a lot tighter. And that is not NYstyle. I felt like some war was on and was ready to start stacking change. I'm also half Italian! So for me - This was one weird cheapskate experience. So that's my review. --------------------Update - Follow up to reply ------------------------------- Hi Demetrios, Thank you for replying. I generally stay positive on reviews. Like I said it was the aggressive way I was treated that was the no go for me. What I left out of the review was worse! For instance - your counter person began reaching to open the box saying she was taking out donuts to replace them with others. She grabbed the box and actually began getting ready to fling donuts around. It was totally weird. Had she actually not stopped trying to untie when asked I would have not taken them. It weirded me out. You say you keep the business the same since 1993? Well where is the Jelly Stick? A New Yok classic. So much for keeping it the same. Its on the sign over the counter and you don't make them any more .. so It is Not the same as it once was. Got ya! jk. And no.. no no.. I am Never mean or rude... just willing to say something. Ok so the coffee.. if its really $1 I get it.. its a nice gesture to your customers... they had something like that in Montauk.. a tiny beer for $1 at a place called Liar's Saloon. So ok.... right on you. Update /3
