Ive been coming here for many years.. employees have for the most part been nice. The nice thing is the location is easy to get to, it is a combined baskin and dunkin location, and literally open 24 hours, as well as a drive-thru. Unfortunately, there have been a lot of issues with employees not answering phones at this location. It is a 24 hour location, but even if you call during the evening like between 7pm till 12am, many times they dont even answer the phone. This is especially frustrating because it is a longer drive than other dunkin locations, and sometimes for higher demand or new, limited edition items you need to know if items you want are in stock. If employees dont answer the phone, and you drive there and items are gone then its a big waste of time. Also, sometimes they dont even have the new baskin Robbins flavor of the month, or, only have one of the two or three new flavors available. They unfortunately do not update the stock of items on their mobile app either. Normally the dunkin app informs you as to which items are still in stock at a particular location- but this system has to be updated throughout the day by employees at the store. The mobile app will tell you all the items are fully stocked at this location and available to order- and then you place the order, drive there, find out the items are not in stock- then the employees claim they arent even able to refund you for the order and tell you to contact dunkin mobile app support for assistance- which can work out but not with the regularity this location sells out of stock items for- the mobile app customer service will get suspicious if you continuously reach out requesting refunds for orders- even if the real cause of the refund requests is the store employees asking you to contact them. These ongoing issues caused some frustration with this location over the years, and I was willing to overlook it and continue coming here, until the final straw. For years, if you ordered an iced latte or iced refresher of any kind, and asked for no ice, they would gladly oblige you and give you a drink with no ice and still fill it up to the top. However, a few months back, I asked for no ice on an iced matcha latte- this time the person on the drive thru speaker informed me that if I were to get no ice on the drink, they would only fill half the cup with the latte. I asked why, and asked if he could still fill the cup all the way. The employee said no, but said he could just do less ice instead of no ice, and still fill the cup all the way. I accepted his offer, and continued with the order. I got my latte, drank it, and, literally half the cup was full of ice. Which is completely ridiculous. I was also confused as to how this amount of ice is considered "less ice". I think the stereotype of dunkin is that it is a cheaper restaurant than places like starbucks, panera, or paris baguette. But it actually isnt. Their large iced latte costs around $6.00, is a 32 oz cup, and is roughly the same price as what starbucks would charge you for a similarly sized latte. Ive seen the milk dunkin uses for their lattes, and its just standard non organic whole milk you can find at any grocery store. Us consumers can purchase a gallon of milk of that quality for only $3 or so- which means a massive company like dunkin can probably purchase it for far cheaper- perhaps $2 a gallon. Their large latte cups are 32 ounces, so even if they fill the cup all the way with milk, no ice, it's still only a quarter of a gallon. At $6 per large latte, they are still charging a significant premium even if they offer large lattes with no ice. I used to go to dunkin every month, even twice a month, anytime they released a new bakery item, a new donut flavor, or a new syrup flavor for their lattes or refreshers. Now, because of them refusing to offer lattes with no ice, I have stopped going entirely, other than maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and even in those cases only to try a new bakery item or donut flavor- I no longer purchase their lattes. All of their competitors, even mcdonalds, allow you to get no ice in their drinks with no upcharge and no issues. read more

Now I can't believe I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt at least 3 times but this time I will not come here anymore. I come to this location at least 3-4 times a week right before I go to my night shift to grab me something after going on the mobile app. I get a variety of items but my usual is cold brew or iced americano. Today I ordered my food on the app as usually and drove to come pick it up. I see they a little busy and I didn't see the drink on the tray which usually is where they put it for pick up. No biggie right? So I waited until I was acknowledged and told them I have a pick up told them my name and just waited. So finally after I see them get my carrot cake muffin and then hand me a drink. I'm looking a little confused because I prefer a large BLACK cold brew with a few added flavors and stevia. So it should be BLACK right? WRONG!! It was a creamy looking color..but with me needing to leave is said maybe they accidentally added a cream whatever. But then I took a sip and I know this not any damn cold brew! It was iced americano! I don't have a problem with that...but the price difference is about $2 which they never told me they did or didn't have cold brew just gave it to me like I wouldn't notice I guess! I drink coffee just about everyday and I know the difference! So yeah I don't care if y'all a little busy be an adult and let the customer know you are out of certain items and offer to give them a refund or upgrade to another drink for the same price or throw in one of those hard as doughnuts or something! My girlfriend and I were traveling up I-95 and traffic got thick due to an accident so we got off on the nearest exit for a bathroom break and to grab something quick to eat. When we walked in I was happy to see how clean it was on the inside and in the restrooms. We then proceeded to the counter to order where we were politely greeted by the young lady whom took our orders. I ordered the ham egg and cheese English muffin with a Boston cream donut and my girlfriend ordered a bacon wake up wrap and 10 blueberry glazed munchkins. The cashier handed us our bakery snacks and said the rest of our order would be out shortly so we sat and ate our donuts as we waited. Eventually about 15 mins passed and our order still hadn't come out. When we confronted them about the hold up of our order, the employee whom took our order was nowhere to be found so one of the other employees stepped in and said that one of the other customers must've picked up our order by mistake but there hadn't been anyone else to come and go since we'd put our order in so my assumption is that they gave it away to someone in the drive thru by accident. After about another 5 mins of waiting we finally received the rest of our order. The food was good and upheld expectations but they really need to work on speed and being more organized. Also after waiting so long through all of the confusion you would think they'd offer something complementary in order to compensate for the wait. read more

not sure if the staff is a mind boggling level of incompetent or if they just couldn't care less about their jobs. don't waste your time at the drive thru because your order will never be correct. ordered two pancake wraps and received two regular breakfast wraps and the staff seemed irritated i politely brought up their error? took the two incorrect wraps without a word and proceeded to make two pancake ones, one of which had no egg. same staff member takes the second incorrect order back and throws it in the trash, then finally hands me the right order. again, without a word. why are these employees making the customer feel like they were the ones to do something wrong? to be clear, i was the only customer present. this store really needs a manager on duty, at least on all daytime shifts. what a poorly run location. and yes, i did work at a DD as a young teenager. read more

This was my first time coming to this location and it will be my last. Staff member working the drive thru here is incredibly rude. I drove up to the window and literally wasn't spoken to. The kid put his hand out to me waiting for payment. Didn't offer me a receipt. It was an entirely silent transaction. Every time I come here, they never get anything right, and the only reason why I still come here is because it's the only coffee drive thru on my way into work. This morning I tried something new and I got a cold brew with sweet cold foam. I got my coffee and the supposed cold foam was whipped cream hahaa. I asked the worker in the window if it was cold foam because it looked like whipped cream. He stated that it was cold foam. Updated May 2015-I am updating my previous review because this location has def come along way . The wait time is now reasonable , the staff are much more approachable and drinks are made as ordered . I am not sure what has sparked the major turn around but it's definitely noted ! The ONLY reason I am giving this review 2 stars is because the location and the updated store . Do not ignore the previous reviews this is a horrible Dunkins and I swear the only reason they are open is due to their location on rt 1 and being open 24 hours they get a lot of business by default other than that this place literally sucks for customer service. You will wait so long you start to forget what you order. Most the staff there do not know how to make coffee never mind the breakfast sandwiches . Every time I go here I get so mad at myself that I did not drive the extra few miles to the other Dunkins or even just going to Starbucks . First off, I've never gone to this dunkin' in the evening. The morning crew are angels sent from heaven. So this review will not be about them. It's gonna be about the spawns of satan that are the night crew, cause holyyy shiiii... I put in my order through the app as usual. I always go to previous orders so I know I get the same things as last time. I was asked to pull up and wait, no problem. When the young man came out with my drinks, my order was obviously wrong. I got an Iced Matcha Latte instead of my Iced Macchiato. And my Signature Iced Latte came out dark as hell with no whipped cream or cinnamon sugar topping. I tried to bring this to his attention but was totally ignored, I had to go back around through the drive through(my dog was with me so couldn't go inside)and wait in line AGAIN. When I got to the window to explain I said " I ordered an Iced Macchiato, not a Matcha Latte" and showed her the sticker. She then told me "No, that's a MACCA LATTE"... THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MACCA LATTE. I'm here almost every day ordering the same thing and Dunkin' is nowhere near as diverse with drinks as starbucks. Their menu is straightforward. I then also asked for whipped cream on top of my Signature Latte. AND I QUOTE FROM HER "sInCe WhIpPeD cReAM iSnT oN tHe StiCkEr iM GonNa hAvE tO cHaRgE yOu". LIKE WHAT. I waited in the drive thru for about 15 almost 20 minutes. At first I thought it was for people making long orders, but it turns out it was the service. I'm not exactly sure what people were ordering , but it sure did take a while. The only reason why I didn't leave was because I was stuck in line with cars behind me. I ordered a medium hot chocolate with whipped cream and a sausage, egg and cheese croissant. I live in San Diego where Dunkin isn't as accessible as it is here on the east coast, so I was very disappointed with my products. The hot chocolate was very watery. Not the normal rich and creamy hot chocolate I'm used to. My sandwich wasn't any better. The croissant was burnt and the sausage was very dry. I'm a little surprised about all the negative reviews. I work in the area and frequent this location pretty often. I've never had any problems going through the drive thru and especially if you're in a rush, the option to even have a drive thru is a huge benefit. In regards to the staff, its been the same group of people for quite some time. They are always very friendly and treat repeat customers like myself very well. I've been there so many times that they even know my order! Before I even have a chance to say anything, I can see them getting my Medium French Vanilla (Black) ready. They even go the extra mile and place one packet of sugar ontop of the cup because they know that I don't like my sugar already in it. If that's not quality customer service I don't know what is! The other thing I should note is that this location is open 24 Hours. This comes particularly useful whenever I know I'm leaving for a road trip and need to get a cup of coffee in the early morning hours! read more

Walked in to an extremely clean place with a very friendly and welcoming staff. There were employees everywhere the customers were, providing service without a wait. The service was fantastic, and the staff made sure to ask and confirm if that's what I ordered. The bathroom was spotless when I walked in, with no dirty toilet paper on the ground or any kind of unwanted stains on the walls or elsewhere. The coffee didn't taste stale, with just the right amount of cream and sugar that I asked for, and the food didn't taste as if it were frozen for the past three weeks. This Dunkin Donuts is probably one of the best ones I've been to; definitely in terms of cleanliness and customer service. read more

Despite the other low reviews the employees are doing the best they can. Most of them are high schoolers / teenagers just trying to get by and yeah it can be disorganized but when there's a huge morning rush at 6am and cars are backed down the highway who wouldn't be stressed when making drinks? Also they keep hiring new people so just be patient because a lot of the employees are new and still trying to learn. If you want to avoid the long drivethru in the morning I would recommend parking and going into the store because it'll probably be much faster that way read more

Also the sandwiches were very cold, we only live three minutes away from this location, so it seems like they had them already made and wanted to get rid of them? My latest experience occurred on December 2nd. And, unfortunately, it was not pleasant. The wife and I pulled up to the drive thru, and she tells me to break down the order by items and not by combo number. I did not listen to her advice and placed my order. After two attempts to place the order, the voice on the order end asked me to pull up to the window. There, the employee asked for my order and I broke it into items. At least she complete the order correctly. Other businesses have no difficulty taking an order over the drive thru comm. Why here? Another minor complaint is that one cannot substitute the combo drink for a soft drink. If they do not have soft drink dispensers, at least offer me the choice to change it for a bottled drink. I have not been a fan of DD for some time now. Their donuts are not baked on site and they offer a lot of mediocre variety. If I want a great donut, I'll pick Shoppers Food Warehouse or Krispy Kreme. read more

Went through the drive through and got a large iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. They do look like they are closed because of Route One doing road expansion's and construction, but they are in fact still open. The staff was very courteous and polite. The drive-through line was a little long but it is to be expected around 7:30 AM when everyone's trying to get to work. read more

Service has improved, but they're still pretty slow. I don't know what's up with this location, but the drive through always takes for.ev.er! There were only 2 cars ahead of me and I was inline for 15 minutes for a small regular coffee and a veggie egg white flatbread. Luckily, my flatbread was bomb so I forgot about the wait on the rest of my commute to work, but still! Worst Dunkin location ever. Service is always beyond slow, they can't get a single order right.. And my order is a medium coffee w cream and sugar. Not difficult. I've had hot coffee spilled on my hand and car by them bc they didn't close the lid, and I've waited in their always slow drive thru for over 20 minutes more than once. I can't believe Dunkin donuts as a franchise hasn't stepped in. The only reason I've continued to go here is bc they're directly across from my office. I've came into this store a couple of times and the first time I got an Oreo shake and it was super liquidy. I know it's a shake but it tasted more like plain milk than an Oreo shake. This time I went in with my boyfriend and we stood right next to the register waiting for about 7 minutes. I went to the donuts part of the store and no one took notice. We got impatient and left the store because there were three employees just walking around and talking to each other and no one took notice to us. read more

Have not been there in 3 years, hopefully one day they will change my mind. We all know dunkin donuts food is good but the staff at this place takes away the delight of enjoying your meal. They need a serious customer service 101 lesson and if even they will pay attention. The last and final time I was there the spanish lady at the counter embarrassed me by yelling at me because I was allergic to eggs and needed to substitute it for something else. Came after midnight for a donut and iced coffee and the lady was extremely friendly, but the coffee tasted awful and the donut tasted bad and was hard as a rock. I am guessing that the hour I came might have had a slight impact on the quality of the donut, but the iced coffee tasted awful and if they do stay open 24/7 they should offer good quality donuts and coffee. This is one of the most poorly run places I have ever been. Surprisingly the drive thru only had one car in it, and I soon figured out why. This DD location is the slowest coffee shop on earth! The person in front of me took over 10 minutes to get their order. I only ordered a cup of coffee, and that took 10 minutes too. The DD employee kept opening the drive thru window to ask me what I ordered and then would proceed to disappear into the store for long periods of time. The coffee was overfilled and spilled all over my car. Later in the day, I realized my credit card was missing. And yes, it was at the DD. The employee took my card and instead of swiping it and giving it back like normal operations would dictate, she held onto it. Over the course of my 10 minute wait, I forgot to ask for it back (I have never had this happen before). I was in Lorton for a morning meeting and then off to Baltimore, where I realized my card was missing. I had to cancel all of my meetings and drive 40-50 miles in rush hour traffic to get the card. Worst of all they were not even the slightest bit apologetic. In fact, the manager told me to calm down and kept blaming me for leaving my card. Apparently "I drove away so fast, that they did not have time (in 10 minutes) to give me back my card". The manager was incredibly rude about the entire situation. Once I arrived on location to get my card, it appears there had been a shift change. No one on staff knew about the card and it took them a good 20 minutes to dig around in different drawers looking for my card. While there, I decided to try the new Espresso Melt. Unfortunately the staff had no idea what I was talking about. I had to pull the signage off the counter to show them what I was ordering. They put it into a cup without a straw opening and when I inquired about how to open it, they pulled off the top and the contents went spilling everywhere. The employee asked the manager what to do and the manager just shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Of the four employees I encountered today, I can say with certainty, they are all completely incompetent. I see why they are short on customers. read more
