Insisted that London Fogs are made with Blackberry Syrup and not Lavender. Never heard that one before, so I gave it a try. No scones, so I got the Chocolate Chip Muffin. The London Fog came in a nice mug. Not nearly enough foam for my liking. The Blackberry flavor was interesting, but a bit too much, and overwhelmed the tea. The muffin was nice and moist. We were there for about 3 hours, and only 2 other people came during that time. It was easy to have a conversation. But seemed a bit odd (too quiet?).

A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. I would like to know why, but I was too busy enjoying the dish. It is my birthday and so I was offered either a free cocktail or a dessert. I love a good treat so the flourless cake was my choice. The espresso drinks are good, but the regular coffee can be a little bitter in the afternoon.
