Confirmed via app went to pick up and the worker points to the rack with the bags of coffee. No ground coffee. I won't be back. Most poorly run establishment ever! No clue what they are doing here! We were driving through Tracy and decided to get some coffee and a snack. I looked in the Yelp app and saw that there was a Dunkin Donuts in town. We were the lucky ones to get the last few chocolate donuts before they ran out! The donuts quality was consistent with other Dunkin Donuts we have had. This place is a joke and let me also add that the young staff is quite rude and their knowledge of drinks is pathetic! My son and I went through the drive thru this morning and ordered the $6 breakfast which comes with a breakfast sandwich, potatoes and coffee of choice (iced or hot) I asked for an Iced Mocha. When she hands everything out to me finally, she hands me a 25 piece Munchkin rather then the 10 piece I ordered and still has an attitude after I said, thank you. I asked for a manager, and a girl NO older the maybe 17-19 comes to the window. I explain the issue and she tried telling me that if I want an Iced Mocha, I have to ask that they add milk..... Are you kidding me? A standard Iced Mocha comes w/milk. I then explained Lisa's attitude problem and Lisa proceeded to start getting smart mouthed until the manager told her to walk away. The line is often long, but when they arent out of donuts, my favorite thing to get is the chocolate kreme. Often though, they are out by the time the afternoon hits. Inside is empty except one couple in front of us. I placed a simple order at kiosk 1 of three donuts which they had plenty of on the shelf. Waited from 10:25 till 10:40am and watched as all these other walk up people paid at the counter and got their much more complicated orders before us. How appalling that this franchise should open in the same Plaza as another (family run) Donut shop. *Sigh*. I'll get onto this later... Anyhow, opening day thid place was busy yet well organized. Sadly they had ran out of the Snickerdoodle CronUT but it came as no surprise as they're so popular. Staff knew the product and we're happy serving the long lines of customers and prices are fair. While waiting in line it gave me chance to peruse the menu and see that they do all day Breakfast and freshly made Coffee. They also have a drive thru which is useful for being right near the 580. The Donuts are decent and they have some interesting flavors. What I like about DD is that they concentrate on what I call reall Donuts (Or Doughnuts as it is correctly spelt) and by this I mean that they are soft and doughy, none of this "cake" nonsense. Ok, so they did have 1 cake variety when I went which was of the Blueberry variety. Now the concern from a number of people about opening opposite another Donut shop open for 25 years... Has everyone forgotten that the other Donut shop in town is less than a mile down the same road? DD and Donuts & Yogurt have somewhat different Donuts and given that both Tracy and Mountain House are growing I see no reason why both business' can't reside in the same town AND do well. DD opened near Mr T's in Modesto and that is still thriving. If you have good product people will come and I will still visit D&Y despite this opening. This is the first time I've been here and I first have to mention how unfriendly the workers here are, especially in comparison to Starbucks workers. I went in to the drive-thru and the woman worker answered. I asked her for some time and she gave me time. After a couple of seconds, I was ready and said "excuse me?" Nobody answered. This afternoon (at around 3:27), my dad went and parked in front of the place to wait for his client to meet AT Dunkin'. After a long day, he unexpectedly fell asleep. A few minutes later, he was RUDELY woken up and ASSUMED to only be parked in front of the store just to sleep by one of the guy employees. The employee also pointed at my dad and yelled at him to get out without even asking why he was parked there. My dad walked inside to explain, but the assistant manager named Summer told him that he "shouldn't be sleeping there" and didn't allow my dad to explain. This poor service should not go unnoticed. Customer service is awful. These are things I've noticed: 1. Staffs could not initiate a polite greeting to customer (i.e., good morning, afternoon, etc.) 2. Staffs have no ability/skill to form a proper polite sentence or question to help customer (i.e., how could I help you, sir or ma'am?) 3.
