We showed up around 530 expecting they had been open for a bit and were ready for business. They weren't even close. On top of that the woman inside was clearly not happy to be there or to have disappointed potential customers. We left hungry and disappointed. If we hadn't promised everyone we are vacationing with donuts we would have just gone home and made breakfast. Instead my husband went back around 7 and they still weren't fully ready with all the flavors but he still ordered. The donuts saved this review because the product really was worth it! The lemon cream donuts are to die for and my husband loved the chocolate butternut. The harshest critic in our group is my 13 year old cousin and he loved his chocolate donut! We will definitely be back but probably later in the morning!

Tucked into the main street in Franklin, only a few doors up from Vulgar Pizza, is a small shop…read morethat everyone in the area knows has really good donuts. A few things to know: The donuts are big. The picture of the glazed pumpkin shows a toothpick for scale; they're thicker than a 2x4 (but taste better). The hours are different than most places. They're only open Wednesday through Saturday, from 3 AM to 11 AM weekdays and 5 AM to 11:30 AM on Saturday. The flavors are variable, but that's exciting; I usually find something I've never had before. How's the flavor? The glazed pumpkin is VERY "pumpkin forward" and not too much glaze. The cake was a great texture, cooked through in spite of the size. It's a really wonderful donut, and will satisfy any appetite. The banana cream pie was new to me. I included the picture after a few bites to show the banana cream filling. In this picture the full size vanilla wafer can confirm the scale. The banana cream was really good and didn't have the artificial taste that so many have. The chocolate was just enough but I ate the cookie separately to avoid possibly squeezing out the cream. A nice combination. Check your timing if you're in the area, but definitely give this place a try.

They have a wide variety of specialty donuts. Super delicious! I think the flavors rotate pretty frequently, but when we went it was a lot of fall flavors like pumpkin, maple, and apple. At 8:00 many trays were already empty, so get there early!

If you're in the area, you've got to give them a try! Great service and delicious coffee, definitely stopping in our last day in town. Sidenote, they have a super cute gift shop connected to the coffee shop with so many cute items. I got myself an adorable swag tea to remember my trip here to New Hampshire. Thanks Wayferer!

And then we had to go up and ask again for the waffle which we didn't receive until 11:59. I would also like to point out that when you pay with credit card their lowest option for tip is 20%. And for service that takes an hour that just isn't reasonable. So if you have plenty of time definitely stop by, but don't expect quick service.

Both sandwiches were prepackaged, frozen food that was microwaved. The sausage on the biscuit was some of the worst I've ever had. The croissant sandwich was thrown into a bag, and the quality was just as low as the biscuit. Both sandwiches were so hot, not in a good way, in the way that they had been microwaved for way too long! If you want to try an Aroma Joe's breakfast, just go to your supermarket, pick up a frozen store-brand breakfast sandwich, and microwave it for 3x longer than the instructions say to. Hubby had the hummus salad (with the beets, which he raved about saying "best beets he's had in years"!) I had the chicken salad and was stunned by how much chicken was in it! For every bite of salad, I had a bite of chicken! Wow! We're impressed and will order from them again (if they use Door Dash), as we're fairly home bound in the winter here. Four of us got ice cream (2 scoops in a sugar cone with jimmies, 2 scoops in a cake cone, 2 scoops in a waffle cone with sprinkles and 3 scoops in a bowl) for just over $20! A great price, especially for locally sourced ingredient, homemade ice cream. My 3 scoops, however, didn't seem to be any more volume of ice cream than my friend's who all got 2 scoops. The service was friendly, but a tad slow; it did appear to be a teenager and he was by himself. There was a bench by a fire it as well as picnic tables for seating. Now on to the ice cream itself. We got flavors such as black raspberry Oreo, coffee Oreo, banana chip and cookie dough. All the ice creams were nice and creamy except the banana chip. But, the banana chip tasted like it had real banana pureed in it, which may have caused the textural difference. I was very excited it was real banana and not some fake flavoring. The cookie dough was well liked. My friend said the coffee Oreo was not a strong enough coffee flavor for her, more like coffee milk than coffee itself, but I like it. The black raspberry had good flavor as well. They do make and serve doughnuts as well, though they were not making them when we went.
