Since I bought them as a gift I had misplaced the receipt. I brought them back in the same box that they put them in and the woman basically laughed and said "sorry, nothing we can do". "Why don't you try brining them to a jeweler to have them repaired". I almost laughed myself at how ridiculous this suggestion was. I paid around $10 for the earrings so it's certainly not about the cost, it's about the principle. It's quite pathetic when a "local" store is unwilling to stand behind the products they sell. I'm certainly fortunate that it was such an inexpensive item. I was actually going to give them another chance if the woman I spoke to had even an ounce of consideration but it goes without saying that I will no longer be shopping at Headlines Boutique. If you don't want to sit at the bar, you can take a step down and sit in sort of a green house vibe with good seating. Or you can go toward the back of the building where there are plenty of booths and lounge chairs. There are enough tvs to be entertained if you want, but not feel overwhelmed like you're at a sports bar.., which is where I think the new owners of the old Cigar Emporium up the road from Shenanigans went wrong.
