If I could give negative stars for customer service I would! I've never heard so much cussing (lost count of the number of F-bombs dropped in less than 5min wait), gossiping and trash talking about different types of people (church attendees), and laziness. This is certainly NOT a family friendly establishment! I have heard less gossip, foul language and trash talking at local bars than I did in a place where families can visit or customers should be able to sit and have a morning conversation or personal time in a peaceful setting! Horrendous! When my friend and I awaited to place an order- not typical customers of Dunkin (now I am reminded why) none of them offered assistance or made effort to interact. We felt like a burden, even having to call out "Excuse me." to the group of them gossiping away, even get our receipt. Awful! The food was average but with the lack of attentiveness, topics of conversation about excessive drug use and driving under the influence of drugs, I felt uncomfortable consuming the food and would have honestly left had it not been at the request of others to get Dunkin in the first place. The food was average. The employee quality- extremely sub-par. I would contribute it to incredibly poor management. This location needs to clean house and hire well if they intend to do maintain long term sustainability and success. If you're looking for delicious donuts and fresh coffee with more pleasant service and a more relaxed atmosphere- visit the WaWa next door instead! If spewing hatred and consistent f-bomb trash talk, entrusting individuals who brag about engaging in excessive drug use (while driving- imagine what they're doing when working with your food) and inattentive customer service is your thing- more power to you. The laziness is also apparent in the smaller details such as empty display boxes sat around (see photo of top of donut case) and some tables had crumbs from previous customers, etc. Is you have time to lean, you've got time to clean. Ordered a frozen chocolate for my daughter. This piece of plastic that looks to have broken off of something was in it. She sucked it up the straw and could have choked or damaged a tooth in it. I understand that things like this can happen, but when I called to let them know about it, they didn't offer a replacement, or coupon, or even really an apology. I work down the road from here and have been getting coffee almost every other day (at LEAST once a week) and their service is crazy good! From 5:30-6:30 am the traffic isn't bad but around 8ish...yeah your pushing it lol STILL the service is quick and it's always correct on my end. I will say when I first started coming here the gentlemen that takes my order talks super fast lol and you almost feel like you're in a race ordering which isn't a bad thing, if anything it made me know exactly what I wanted and I was in and out of that line like nobody's business. Also to be fair, the location isn't THE best but it's pretty amazing service so idc. Also also this location is probably the only location in Reading/Pottstown area where I can order my blueberry donut and it's perfect. Every. Single. Time. How you may ask? Well they don't have frozen ones, they make them at that location. The drive thru operator was rude and continued to try and finish my order before I was done speaking. Food was slapped together poorly. I understand it's drive-thru but this was ridiculous. I went to this location with my sister. I was treated very rudely by the staff. I will try to explain all the details in order to be fair. My family has three T-Mobile codes due to all being on that carrier. I first tried to order two lattes with caramel swirl and blueberry flavor. I then tried to order a third latte with caramel swirl and coconut flavor. All three latte were to be light on ice. Simple enough. The trouble came when I noticed that the cashier started punching in the first two as a blueberry crisp. He seemed new and not talkative so I tried to explain that we needed to order the ingredients separately because the codes don't work for signature lattes just the regular ones. I'm aware that this is the recipe for a blueberry crisp; however this drink is able to be ordered in this way online and I don't think there is anything wrong with asking for it in person. As I was trying to explain this the woman next to him started yelling about how they are not able to take three coupons with only two customers. I explained to her that there was no one coupon per customer stipulation on the this deal and that I could show her the terms if she wanted. She continued to argue with me as the other employee scanned the codes. She said she had to call her boss and then opted not to do that while arguing with me. My sister and I then tried to order a dozen donuts and pay using Baskin-Robbins $2 gift cards. The female employee then took over and began arguing with me that she could not scan them because I had already used so many coupons and gotten "free" drinks. She essentially acted like I was trying to rob the store & loudly remarked at how the couple behind us left as if we were being pests when SHE held us up for an uncomplicated request. She also said that she couldn't do it because it's a Dunkin Donuts and not a Baskin Robbins. I told her that I could be wrong but just to scan them to see if they went through. She was shocked when the QR code scanned and began rolling her eyes each time I asked her to scan one. To top it all off, she loudly complained that they could never do this again and that it's not allowed as me and my sister left. For full transparency I am not sure if there is a one coupon per customer, no matter what, rule; however she did not even know that Baskin-Robbins gift cards also work the same at Dunkin. For full transparency we got our lattes and donuts for the deals that we had. I am not upset about not getting a deal nor do I want anything from them in compensation except maybe an apology. However when I tried to call to maybe get one from a manager, I found out that this woman was the manager. She at first said sorry; then, began arguing with me about the "coupons" when I told her why I was upset. I told her it was a very unprofessional way to treat her customers and hung up. This all happened from around 5/6pm on June 24th. I never caught the name of anyone on shift but I don't think I will ever go to this Dunkin Donuts again and I will recommend for other people not to either. We will NEVER patronize this DD again. The manager is beyond rude and nasty and the kids working there are visibly scared of her. We started placing an order and the manager yelled at our order girl that she had to make the coffee for the gentleman before us because she was wearing a headset?!? I told her to make his coffee because our order was going to take a few minutes and he would've had to wait. Our first sandwich was made and given to us before the rest of the order was placed or even paid for. The girl messed up the very next sandwich on our order probably because of the confusion. When I took the wrong sandwich back to be corrected the extremely rude manager yelled and made one of the other people working there tell me it costs more money. Not my problem. I had witnesses of what I told her but instead of making a customer happy they lost a good customer forever.
