Burnt bacon & burnt egg & burnt cheese wake up wrap

Can't even get an order right.. I ordered a egg and cheese wake up wrap and they give me a bacon egg and cheese wrap and I got charged for it.. I thought the price was a bit higher than usual... will not be going back to this establishment and I would not recommend it unless you like wrong orders.. I don't eat pork so there's an issue..

Don't go here and if you do, good luck seeing a human being because I stood at the counter for 10 min and nobody was there!

Everyone knows Racine kringle which is the most famous but not even close to the best. This bakery…read moreis a throwback with old glass cases showcasing hand made kringle and other bakery delights. We did a taste test between O&H pecan kringle versus Bendtsen's. They both had different qualities so there wasn't a clear winner. Bendtsen's is flakier and drier than O&H with larger pecans. O&H had more moisture, smaller pecan pieces and a sweeter frosting. Bendtsen's also serves more traditional flavors and doesn't make a Tipsy Elf like O&H which BTW is delicious. They are within a couple of miles of each other so next time you're in Racine it's worth trying them both.

Summer of 2025, QVC was in Racine filming for the Racine Kringle brand and the crew (my sister is a part of) made it a point to try all three in a taste test. Bendtsen's won! They are still handmade unlike their competition. It's a cute little shop and the lady working (not sure her name) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We could tell she was proud to work there. There were several flavor options left that weekend afternoon and it came highly recommended by my sister to try the spinach and cheese pastry. Ask for it warmed up, delicious!

I've had O & H's almond kringle that they source out to Trader Joe's in VA. Staff were friendly and helpful! I informed them I'm not from here locally (just visiting my in- laws). The lady was helpful and explained their available products. I was so excited to try out their other kringle flavors. I opted for the key lime pie and the pina colada one. We tore into the key lime pie one and it tastes just like one, with the filling! Sooo good!! They run about $15-$16 for the flavored ones. The pina colada one I will have to update my review for, as it's currently in my in-laws' freezer and will hopefully survive the 14 hour drive home. No military discounts. Update: that pina colada kringle is KING!! O&H please source out these ones to Trader Joe's also!!

Hmmmm. Same staff brought out our sandwiches, one at a time, and pointed out she didn't know what she was bringing out or whose it was. Okay. I guess she could've not pointed that out, just made her appear ignorant and us feel like we were interrupting her day. Oh well. The Kringles are good, definitely get the original with cherries, cranberries and cheese, the sandwiches are very small, hardly any meat but tasty. Many items are frozen for take home. Was a nice place to visit, but we probably won't be back unless we feel like the original Kringle. We bought an assortment of pastries and decided it's not for us. Most are overwhelming sweet, and just okay. The petit fours are just cut up glazed cake, the cake inside is tasty almond flavored but the glaze kills it, too sweet. Lots of cute souvenirs but very pricey. Good to visit once. We came, we saw, we left.

WOW! I am a first time visitor from Minnesota and I can vouch we do not have apple orchards to this…read moreextent in our state. Apple Holler was glorious. The land is 78-acres which allows for lots of steps, various areas such as the children's section, goat animal area, restaurant, pick your own apples, wedding venue barn along with farm shop and bakery. Visiting here will expose you to apple cider donuts (some of the best I have ever had), apple cider slushies, coffee, cookies, pickled vegetables, apple butter, wine, and games such as Holler Hoops, Skee ball, Giant Slide, corn maze and the golden goat bridge which showcases dwarf goats crossing high above and down ladders. The pick your own apples is spendy, but I justify the price by the amount of work it takes to run this establishment, the quality of products and joyous customer service. For 2 small bags, it was about $58.00. To pick, you can walk or hop on the hayride train. We took the hayride out to the orchard and ended up walking and wandering back. The hayride is worth going on because it will take patrons through a forest that has whimsical paintings on the trees resembling Alice in Wonderland. *note: be aware that if you attend after rainfall like we did, the grounds are extremely muddy and it is best to wear appropriate footwear. As we were traveling, we only had 1 pair of shoes with us and had to be very selective on our apple picking, whereas if we were locals, we wouldn't mind wet feet and mud. Apple Holler is a memory making space and who doesn't love memories. The bathrooms were even top notch which should give flavor into how well kept the property is. If we had more time in the area, I'd for sure return to check out the Red Barn Restaurant which serves both breakfast and lunch all day. Bravo, Apple Holler! Consider your new slogan (thanks to one of your staff members), "If you need anything, just holler." This could be plastered on t-shirts and said by staff walking around just like Kwik Trip says, "we'll see you again soon."

No supervision so the few carts that work are driven by the same people numerous times around the track. No discounts for children or seniors and the small bags provided are now pint bags - barely holding any apples. Or bards are full of weeds and hardly any apples at all! Couldn't even find enough to fill our pint bags. I think this is the last year here for us - so sad!
