Rather than saving her a frozen piece until Easter, or not sharing it with her at all, I scheduled it to be delivered today, a Friday, so we could enjoy it over this weekend. Now the only question is whether it will even make it to the weekend. I don't know how to explain how delicious it is other than to say the flavor of the chopped pecans on top along with a blended sprinkling of coarse salt and sugar are just an introduction to your palate in preparation for you to next enjoy the caramel filling oozing out of your warmed slice.
