A wonderful apple orchard that has plenty for the kids to do is a great place to visit. Was able to eat at the restaurant several times so an overview is in order. The establishment is very clean and has a gift shop with all sorts of tasty offerings. The apple pie is simply wonderful, a scoop of ice cream is an excellent ad and once you have this dessert you will certainly be back. The restaurant menu has a nice variety of selections, the Ruben is great, the French Dip is awesome but unfortunately the 1/2 burger was pretty sad, dry, probably microwaved and the thousand island dressing pretty much nonexistent. However, the fries are exceptional! You order at the counter and the food came out very quickly by some very friendly staff.

Friendly service everywhere we went, restaurant, store, bakery. Easy to find off highway, plenty of signs, free large parking lot. Lots of things for kids to do outside, play areas like a mini amusement park. Inside there is a store and restaurant, food looked great, plates were full, portions were very satisfying. Store had many souvenirs as well as taffy apples, Apple juice, many various apple products. Great pit stop, will stop again!

Came here with my partner a few months back to try apple picking for the first time coming from Chicago. We got there around noon on a Saturday and the place was busy but they had plenty of parking along the road in addition to the full lot. The price to entry is pretty fair, and you choose a size to how big of a bag you want for collecting. Once in, this place is huge. They have plenty of food/drinks, apple picking, a petting zoo area, a corn maze and lots of other kid friendly activities. We were there for the apple picking and it was such a great time! They give you a map with all the in-season varieties and where you can find them in the orchard. There is also shuttle rides that drive you around the orchard and drop off at some points if you want to minimize walking since its a large field. Even though the place was crowded, the orchards had plenty of room to walk around and pick apples with your group. There are sooo many apples and it is overwhelming at first all the different kinds. The great part is you can try the them before deciding if you want to take them. Make sure to come hungry, we ate a ton of apples. After picking, we went to the cider house and got a cold cider. They were delicious and refreshing! It was a lovely evening and i'd recommend it for anyone looking to go apple picking!

I've been to a few apple orchards around Chicago, and I think this one has to be my favorite. It is expensive, $24 is the cheapest option to enter the orchard, but I view it more like you're paying to spend the day there. Also, depending when you go (make sure to check website to see what is ready to be picked), they have a ton of options for apples AND they have a couple varieties of pears which I really love. Even as an adult, it's fun to take the train out to the orchard. You can buy drinks for while you wander around, including both alcholic or nonalcoholic. In addition to apple picking they have a HUGE store with so many sweet treats, tons of friendly goats, a little corn maze, a race track (think: 4 wheel bikes), free skee ball and basketball, and more. It's a great way to spend a fall day!

So while in Chicago for my son graduation from the Navy Boot camp, we decided to drive to Wisconsin to do som apple picking. As we researched several places the one was the only one open on that day. What a great find. I reminded me of the old time tourist traps that was on the side of the road. First we started out with fruit picking wit a variety of apples, peaches, and pears. The farm was huge and need a tractor ride for some area. The fruit so so delicious, the workers stated to try the fruit from each tree before picking them a placing it in your basket for sweetness. We would save some of the half eaten fruit a give it to the horse and goats on property, which was a fun experience. After picking the delicious apples, pears, and peaches, we went to the restaurant. We ordered pizza and a french dip sandwich. The pizza was large and delicious with a nice crunchy crust. The French dip was absolutely amazing with warm dipping sauce. We then went to the bakery and purchased, apple doughnuts, carrot cake, and apple fritters. Highly recommend stopping at Apple Holler

First of all when you walk in, you can smell aroma of fresh apples. You then walk your way through an adorable little gift shop area on your way to your table. Let me tell you when you're ordering your breakfast. The portions are ginormous! Absolutely absolutely delicious ambience is so adorable. The service is very very, very nice.

We came out to Apple Holler last month when we were near the area for a wedding. We opted to come for breakfast, and we really enjoyed it. The food was pretty good, and reasonably priced. We ordered the drunken french toast, the apple turnover breakfast, and 2 drinks. Our favorite was the cheesy hashbrowns. Those were phenomenal. We had thought about getting a small bag to go apple picking, BUT each person has to buy a bag, and the smallest bags were $22. I'm not paying $44 to go into an orchard and pick like...10 apples. (We didn't want to get many since we don't live in the area.) Besides that, we had some fun walking around the shop. Pro-tip: buy the dill pickle hot sauce. SO GOOD. The rest of the place seems to be geared to kids, so if you've got little ones, this would be a great spot to spend a day. I'd recommend coming here at least once!

The food was delectable free apple cider refills in this place is so underground not most people know about it. There's a corn and everything by the side with a farmhouse. This place smells amazing. The people here are amazing. The staff workers I love this place and everything about it Right now.

This place is super beautiful! The market and bakery have amazing items! We ordered food and sat down at a table. They give you complementary cornbread and apple butter. Both very good. We ordered an apple dumpling and it was good but still a little cold inside. I ordered the chicken and biscuits with gravy and they were amazing!! My boyfriend ordered the apple French toast and thought it was underwhelming. It was a little cold. Next, we went apple picking. Altogether it was a fun experience, but pricey. You have to buy a bag to enter the orchard and the cheapest option is $22. The smallest bag only fits ~6 apples. They were very very tasty though. Finally, we went to the farm/play area. The animals were cute and we enjoyed feeding them. They have several activities that many young children would enjoy.

So much fun! So many tasty treats! Just way too expensive! We can't afford to come every year like I'd like to!

Apple Holler is a great place to spend a fall day with family and friends. We went apple picking on a beautiful Saturday morning, but the main parking lot was already full by 9:30 am. Luckily, we found a spot along the road and it was just a short walk to the orchard. We picked two 1/4-peck bags of apples, $22 each - which was plenty for us. Apple Holler has a huge variety of apples to choose from, and the trees were loaded with fruit! After picking apples, we enjoyed some delicious fresh-pressed cider. I was a little disappointed that they no longer have the barrel-aged cider, which was my favorite in years past. One of the staff members told us they recently changed vendors. Even though it was a busy day, the orchard was well-organized with clear signs and plenty of staff to answer questions. We didn't have to wait long to pay our admission or get our cider. While prices have increased a bit we still had a wonderful time and would come back next year!

We had such an amazing time! Don't let the traffic intimidate you. This place is massive! There is endless activities for kids. The food was delicious. A bit pricey but worth it in my opinion. Just a few of the things that they had for kids were pony rides, a maze, a bouncy pad, a playground, a bike race track, and much more! And of course, the Apple orchard!

We came here in October and we had a great time. They gave us a map and we are off to the orchard. I love how they have a lot of the various types of apples and they are all good. They have a bakery, pizza and adult drink stand too. Their bakes goods are in-house and I particularly love their donuts, pies and flaky apple turnovers. Don't forget the apple cider. Kids will go bonkers for this place and their playground. It's worth the visit and you will have a great day! Every person will need to buy a bag. They accept credit cards. Parking is tricky during weekends.

Do you also have to pay $20 for toddlers? We have a big group and 4 kids that are only 2 yrs old.

2-year-olds would only need to have admission to our Farm Park, which is $5 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. They would not receive a bag but can go with you to all activities.

How long do you spend here?

As little or as much time as you would like! We're open daily from 9am-5pm.
