Honey Hill has a chill atmosphere and welcoming presence at the onset with staff who are knowledgeable and can help guide you through choosing a drink that fits you. I ordered a hot Honey Nut Latte with Oat milk and the barista was correct; it tasted like Honey Nut Cheerios in a latte! I will be coming back more frequently when I have time to make a stop. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Sadly, Honey Hill is far enough away from where I live that I wouldn't drive all the way their just to get coffee, but when I'm inevitably in Wauconda again soon, I will definitely stop by. The place itself is cute inside, and they even have local artists' paintings for sale on their wall. I love when local businesses support local entrepreneurs and artists. When we came, we sat on the little patio outside because it was a gorgeous day. They have a few tables set up right beside the building. When it comes to the menu, there are TONS to choose from! They also don't only have coffee, which is a plus because my husband isn't a coffee fan. They offer lemonade, frozen lemonade, non-coffee milkshake type drinks, steamed apple cider, hot chocolate, and teas. They also have food choices, such as multiple flavors of scones and cake slices. Admittedly, the day we came, the service could have been better. The young girl made the drinks really well, but she wasn't too friendly. She might have been having a bad day or something, which is understandable, but I wish she was a bit more personable. Overall, I highly recommend Honey Hill, and the location is perfect because it's in the downtown area of town, so there are plenty of stores around to pop in and out of!

There are many things on the winter menu that I would love to try next time I am back. The scone was huge and very flavorful. And the brown butter latte was a nice warm treat on a cold Chicago morning. The employees behind the counter were nice and friendly and helped me decide my drink for the morning. It was between the miso caramel latte or the brown butter latte, and I went with the brown butter. Nice chill coffee spot with great options. They have a nice cozy couch in the front and heard they have a nice big sitting area in the back that I didn't have time to check out. Til next time!

Same industrial feel inside with lots of seating and work space. Great as a remote working space or a meeting with friends. Expansive menu. All of the usuals for such a craft coffee shop but they also have a great selection pastries, some of which are vegan and gluten free. They've even got the ingredients for each item posted on the side of the display. Their website and social media is very backdated. I couldn't find anything recent in terms of their current menu in order to plan ahead before coming but the woman behind the register was very helpful.

Things have finally calmed down here so it was a good chance to try it out. The line was pretty quick even though there were at least 3 cars in both lanes in front of me. The order system works like so. Someone walks up with a pad and takes your order, you pay right there. You pull up a bit farther and someone else brings your order. Easy enough. As for the drinks themselves, I think they're worth it! I had a large Sweet and Salty, a caramel and white chocolate breve. First off, the large was a good size. Not a medium disguised as a large like other spots. It was very tasty! Not as sweet as I would have expected but a great balance of flavor. If you want more sweet (or less) they have options for that. You can customize how strong your drink is, as well as what type of milk you want. You can also add cold foam and get your drink hot or cold. Good customization options here. Price was on point with similar places, maybe slightly more, but I felt like the value was there. I'll definitely be back to try some other drinks, I'm excited to try some frozen ones when the temperature turns.

My first…read moreimpression was the crazy confusing parking lot, cars were going in and out all over the place. Then there were 2 lines that we waited in almost 20 min to order but there ended up being so menu anywhere to see drink options. Once we got to the front, because we were in the outer lane, all the cars of the inner lane got served first, and then we got our orders taken about 10 minutes later. After a while, I ordered the first thing I saw on the poster in front of me the cereal matcha drink. It was okay, a bit sweet for my liking but it really did taste like cereal milk. The drink was almost $10. I think because of how crazy the lines were at 11am on a Tuesday, and how confusing it was to order, I may come back if there is no line to try other drinks. But otherwise, I think I'll stick to my usual coffee shops and drinks.

It was so fun to find it on a corner like a standalone house with a full parking lot. They also have an enclosed patio which I can only imagine would be so fun during the summer. We got the cherry cordial cold brew, and the matcha flight. The cold brew was good, it had the hints of cherries with in. I loved the matcha flight, honestly the vanilla matcha as basic as that sounds was my absolute favorite but I cannot wait to try the chai flight! For breakfast I got the caprese sandwich and my husband got the breakfast burrito and we split it. Both were great, the caprese sandwich was delish! I keep thinking to myself I need to try to make that for breakfast now because it was that good! And for our sweet treat dessert we got the carrot cake whoopie. It was good but it felt like there was too much cake to the filling ratio, I almost feel like it needed to be half the amount of cake. Overall a great experience! The staff was nice and the shop was so cute to hang out and work in! Can't wait to come back and try more.

If you come during peak time just know you may need to wait a bit as everything is made fresh to order. They were also sold out of a lot of things but we got to try their cheese balls, chicken arepa, arepa pepiada, and their Brazilian ribs arepa. The cheese balls came out piping hot, we got 4 with our order. They were little balls of fluffy cheese breads that have a similar texture to mochi. It was great! We shared or arepas so we could try more, and none of them disappoint. The chicken arepa was by far my favorite, it was creamy, cheesy, full and full of flavor. The ribs one was a tad dry for me. We did order extra sauces but we didn't get them, and we didn't want to ask as they were too busy. Busy maybe with the sauces it would've helped. The cafe itself is super cute and small inside but the have a whole back patio that's perfect for the nice weather for you to enjoy. Overall, a good experience. We may just go during off times to avoid our super long wait for our food.
