Rude associates. Management needs to be present on how the associates talk and deal with people.

Super slow service especially in the morning. Make sure to leave yourself an extra 30 minutes if you stop here. It's incredibly busy and doesn't have the staff or parking to accommodate the community. Also, the older man that works there is rude. To the owners: Do yourselves a favor and open an additional location nearby. read more

This is the first time I've ever left a bad review, so the fact that I'm giving this place one star is saying something. I've gone to this Dunkin' at least a hundred times because it's the most convenient location to me. I know that with Dunkin' you shouldn't expect too much, but this place is just pathetic. I can always depend on the Lake Shore Plaza Dunkin' to mess up something. I have a sensitive stomach so I always order non dairy and decaf. The amount of times I've had to scrape the melted cheese off my bagel with a plastic spoon in my work place's kitchen is too high to count. When I was pregnant, I had to give away my coffee to a coworker multiple times because they gave me caffeinated coffee. I've had to spend way too much time in my works bathroom because they did something wrong to my coffee. This place almost always burns my bagel, gives me the wrong donut, or forgets to put something in the bag entirely. They also forgot to give my husband back his debit card once so we had to come back and get it. The speaker is difficult to understand and they hardly ever repeat the order back to me. I've gotten a smile at the window twice. Look at the picture attached to see what they did to my donut today, did the worker think they had to stop my donut from running away?? I told my husband to never come back to this place. I can expect better service from the McDonald's around the corner. If you really want Dunkin', drive five extra minutes down the street to the Fort Smallwood location. They never burn my bagel. Or better yet, if you have time in the morning support your local business and go to Second Alarm Brewhouse. read more

I've had issues with getting my order - not just the correct order, actually receiving what I paid for or my money back - in the past, and I swore off this particular location. My daughters wanted a treat and I decided to give it a try again. Bad mistake. Long story short, the young woman changed the drink - because she felt it tasted better that way - without telling me and she caused me to have an allergic reaction. I felt sick immediately upon drinking a coffee that I had to get fixed once already, and when I brought it back in, the employee said she didn't do what I said she did. I am allergic to peppermint and I did not order a peppermint drink. I and someone with me could taste the peppermint. What she did, remaking a drink to taste how SHE wanted it, not how I ordered it, made me very ill. The owner was right there and made her refund me but didn't seem to care. Do not use this Dunkin Donuts. ---- I ordered a peanut butter cookie flavoured iced coffee and before I could get into the car, I realised that it tasted like nothing. I've had this drink before at a different location and it definitely tasted like peanut butter cookie. We all went back in and I explained the problem. The young woman behind the counter said that it doesn't taste like anything unless she puts more syrup in. I'd like my drink to taste the way I ordered it. She said she often adds mocha to taste like Reece's. I just wanted peanut butter cookie. She puts something in it and hands it back. I don't even get out of the shopping mall parking lot before I realise she put chocolate MINT (thin mints) into my drink. I'm allergic to peppermint. It causes very bad symptoms. We went back and she argued with me. Peppermint is not a mild flavour; I can tell it was in my drink. One of my daughters also tasted it. read more

New to the area, I found this through the Google maps app on my iPhone. As I leisured down mountain road, hungering for a sweet drink, I spotted the unmistakable orange and violet sign. I parked, heart pounding. It didn't look too unique, the engineers who built this Dunkin must have made the last 100. I walked in the glass doors and stood on the consumers side of the register. I waited for two minutes without being greeted, watching a young middle eastern man work the drive thru. Finally, I was introduced to a second middle eastern man, but instead of working the drive thru, his eyes were fixated on me. He couldn't have been more than 5'5, I towered over him at 6'0, but it didn't seem to bother him as he stood, chest out, feet rooted to the ground. I ordered a medium caramel latte, my favorite since being introduced to the chain such a long time ago. He did not ask me if I wanted whole or skim milk. He knew I wanted whole. Any words said would simply be wasted vibrations. I also ordered a dozen doughnuts to bring back as spoils for my relatives I was seeing over this particular weekend. I asked for several different varieties of doughnuts, each one our middle eastern protagonist picked with the speed and precision of a hawk diving toward a mouse in the grass. However, when it got to the 7th or 8th doughnut, I discovered a cog in what I presumed to be an efficient machine. They had NO, that is ZERO, cinnamon doughnuts. I couldn't believe it. I don't love this location. A lot of the staff is rude and too difficult to understand in the drive thru. The drinks here are sweeter than any other location, and that's not a good thing. The food, like every other Dunkin, sucks. read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because their morning crew is so awesome. They're very pleasant and the drinks are always well made. On one occasion my fiancé recognized I was having a rough morning (mom of 2) and called them to ask if they would deliver my coffee. They did. Totally above and beyond there. All that being said, I won't go here in the evening. It's like a different store at night. The night crew definitely doesn't have the same charm and they can't make a macchiato to save their life. This is not the biggest DD that I've been to but it's functional and spacious enough to get work done. It's not super crowded any of the times that I come here to do work. Staff are great! Had a gentleman refilled my coffee without me even asking for it. The place is clean and pretty quiet and the WiFi is great! I love this location! Every day that I have work I always stop here first and get a medium caramel iced coffee with cream and sugar and almost everyone who works the window has great customer service. I definitely feel like I'm not just another order on their board when I go there because they always treat me with great customer service. Especially if you get the one guy Rav at the window or inside, he always makes it a point to ask about your day and get to know his customers which I greatly appreciate. Drinks aren't always done consistently but good most of the time. Watch the older gentleman(using that word loosely) who works the afternoon drive theru. If you pay with cash he will short you. It's happened to me 3 times. Today I bought a latte for 3.81. Gave a 10 dollar bill. He handed me five 1's and 19 cents. I order a medium iced vanilla latte with whole milk and 1 sugar. I don't think they've gotten it right once. The sugar is always sitting at the bottom of the cup, which is totally a first world problem, but come on mix the sugar in please. There's nothing worse than taking the first sip of your iced coffee, and sucking up a mouthful of sugar. It's seriously all I order, and it's never right. I feel like a coffee place should have the ability to make a decent coffee drink. That and 9 out of 10 times they're out of strawberry frosted donuts. Ok so don't get me wrong I love dunkin and the coffee and stuff is always great here. But if possible... NEVER GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THROUGH! You will not be able to understand them... at all. I wanted to give negative stars but that is unfortunately not an option. I ordered 2 lattes and hashbrowns... only to notice I was only rung up for 1. 15 minutes go by and no drink yet. My son was asked 3 times what he was waiting on and again no drink. 5 people came and went and there we stood. While one of the workers was texting on his phone right upfront of us calling the person on the phone an asshole... then pretended he actually cared by asking me again for a 4th to e what we were waiting on. And I told him keep the drink due to the lack of professionalism and absolute zero customer service shown. I mean who texts on a phone behind the counter while waiting on customers and yet uses foul language directly confront of the people. Absolutely horrible service and a very defeating experience to say the least. Have no idea what Meagan L is talking about but the night crew does a really good job and I have never had a problem there. I have been getting a macchiato in the evening for a couple years every single night and it is perfect . I guess every persons opinion differs . I would take her review with a grain of salt. read more
