I have…read moreloved Parlor Doughnuts very much so when I had to schedule an appointment instead of going downtown, I decided to go to Fleming Island because I could stop a Parlor Doughnuts. But it was an overall disappointment. I placed my order online and parked as I was parking. I saw two people walk in and by the time I got out of my car and inside one was with the lady at the espresso machine, and the other was waiting in line by the donuts since I had a pick up order, I went over there to try to pick it up, but the lady fiddling with the machine was the only one visible at the time and she was having a time with that machine. I think by the time the lady waiting got her drink. It was probably a good 10 minutes. Meanwhile, because I have physical issues I sat down to wait. In that time about six other people had come in. Now, suddenly another employee appears, and he pulls out a box for a pick up order and started walking into me and then when I said that's not me he then found one of the other people in line who it was for and she indicated she also wanted to go ahead and get a drink so he started helping her with that despite her being one of the last people to walk in the store. Meanwhile, the other lady finally finished the coffee for the first lady and began making this coffee for the second lady from the pick up order. Meanwhile, the gentleman goes over and skips me who was there first and just getting a pick up order that was already placed and start helping another lady in line when he finishes with her he goes to help another gentleman. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there and I'm just trying to get my order picked up that I had already placed long before any of these people appeared in store. So when I finally got my order, it was a good 20 minute wait in store. As for the food itself, I can't say I felt it was the normal expectations I had of Parlor Doughnuts. I ordered a turtle doughnut, a churro doughnut, and a cookies and cream doughnut for my family. Looks wise, they were OK except for mine. Mine was the turtle donut and sorely lacking on the nuts as you can see in the picture. The other ones looked appealing visually however it stopped right there. Whereas I'm normally accustomed to a crispy outside and a flaky interior. This doughnut had a brown exterior, but it wasn't very crispy and the interior was gummy. Very disappointing. So as far as the atmosphere on that regards, the restaurant is very charming. It's well located for its neighborhood. It's generally clean looking however the floors were very sticky.

The staff was so extremely nice and even offered to make anything I wanted (many of the items were already sold). I mentioned wanting a caramel latte (not on the menu) and the young gentleman volunteered to make it anyway. The service alone was 12/10. Now I don't even want to get started on the doughnuts. Everything was good. I chose 5 different items and I can't even tell you which one I liked the best. All of them were equally amazing, flaky and sweet. We even warmed them to give them a lil edge. Overall, this place is dangerously accommodating and equally tasty. It's the best new thing I've tried all year.

It somehow exceeded every expectation. The coffee was incredible, and they had such a fun selection of specialty drinks. We ordered the breakfast burritos, and they were absolutely phenomenal. They were packed with flavor, made fresh, and honestly just as memorable as the doughnuts themselves. Speaking of the doughnuts... I don't even know where to begin. They're unlike any doughnut I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and loaded with creative flavors. If you're on a diet, you might want to avoid this place because once you have one, you'll want to try them all. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of energy. We loved our first visit so much that we came back a second time during the same trip, which says everything. My fiancé walked out saying he wanted to open a Parlor Doughnuts in our hometown because it was that good. This is one of those places that completely lives up to the hype. If you're anywhere near Jacksonville, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won't regret it.

They officially opened for business June 2020, so they are pretty new; pretty new to the food truck scene as well. Their ordering is pretty simple. They offer 5 flavors to choose from and you can choose different flavors depending on your quantity of choice. * Chocolate Oreo * Fruity Pebbles * Strawberry w/ Sprinkles * Cinnamon Sugar * Whisky Glaze VERDICT: I have to say that in the mini donut category, Rad Ringo's mini donuts are one of THE BEST tasting donuts I've had. Not greasy, light in taste, and kinda had that crunchy donut taste to it. It was a resounding O-M-G-So-Good for my family. And I heard nothing but positive comments in discussions with my neighbors; they loved it too. Some of them even went back for a second order. PRICE WISE, I thought they're donuts were on the pricey side, as some mini donut shops sells them for a different quantity packs. But in terms of individual donut pricing, they are pretty much close to identical. CONCLUSION... Donut be swayed, these are Rad Donuts. I highly recommend them.
