This is the third time in a two week span that they gave me something that looked like an iced coffee, when I ordered a Cold Bree with ColdFoam. I live 4 mins away and ordered in the car so my timing is clearly not the issue (thats what I thought after the second trip). I do not recommend this place!! The Dunkin Donuts on RT-12 is Wayyyyyy better, faster, and definitely friendlier. I would rather drive an extra 5 mins to make sure my $7 Cold Brew actually tastes good and is made right. Also on RT-12 they give you the cold brew tops instead of the regular tops with the straw read more

I am writing to formally raise a concern about the Dunkin' location at 380 Coleman St in New London CT, which--based on repeated visits--has become the single worst-performing Dunkin' I have personally experienced. I am a retail store manager with over a decade of leadership experience. I understand labor constraints, training challenges, and operational pressure. This is not a labor-shortage issue, nor is it a one-off bad interaction. What I am describing is a clear breakdown in leadership standards and accountability that is actively driving customers away. During a recent visit, the closing lead on duty was openly irate with multiple customers while training a new employee. She was visibly overwhelmed, verbally sharp, and repeatedly motioned at customers to "hurry up" while taking orders. At one point, she made unsolicited and inappropriate remarks toward me regarding food I had purchased elsewhere, followed by a sarcastic comment that crossed into outright hostility. This behavior was not subtle, and it was not isolated. On a subsequent visit, simply hearing the same employee's voice at the drive-thru was enough for me to leave without ordering. This location is two minutes from my home and directly on my commute. Despite that convenience, I will not return. I now go out of my way to purchase coffee elsewhere--even from a competitor whose product I like less--because the experience at this Dunkin' is actively unpleasant. That is not a decision customers make lightly, and it is not one they reverse easily. The root issue here is not staffing volume; it is staffing quality and leadership tolerance. Customers can immediately tell when a store manager does not enforce standards or address poor behavior. When that happens, trust erodes, traffic declines, and the brand pays the price--quietly at first, then all at once. This location needs intervention: leadership accountability, retraining, or replacement--whatever is necessary to restore basic professionalism and customer respect. Left unaddressed, this will continue to cost you repeat business from customers who would otherwise be loyal. I am sharing this because it is fixable. But it requires caring--and acting--at the management level. Respectfully, Nick read more

I've been here three times and they got my order wrong every time. One time was served the top half of a plain bagel with the bottom half of an everything bagel. Service also takes forever. It's like every employee at the store eats a handful of gummies breakfast lunch and dinner. This location's payroll is single-handedly keeping Higher Collective profitable. read more

i don't recommend coming to this dunkin' donuts they always get my order wrong and the staff are extremely rude they are so disrespectful i asked for a bagel they didn't have any and they had absolutely no donuts WHAT DUNKIN DOESNT HAVE NO DONUTS im extremely disappointed read more

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever endured. My 1st time coming to this Dunkin donuts since I do not live in Connecticut period from the beginning the woman on the drive thru speaker speaking to me with an attitude and unpleasant as if she was upset she had to be at work. Have my children in the vehicle and as I was asking them what they would like to eat she goes ahead and Asks me if I was speaking to her because I'm mumbling. Then she proceeds to indirectly rushe and rush my order. I asked for no cheese on my step daughters sandwich, it came with cheese. I asked for a signature caramel latte for my son, she gives me attitude and said I never said which latte I wanted. If your going to be unpleasant with customers, then its better just to shut down. VERY DISSAPOINTED. read more

Dunkin' - Bacon Egg and Cheese - Donuts Near Me - New London, Connecticut

Wow. Just wow. Rude and unprofessional. Witnessed an older barista yelling at a Door Dash driver when he simply was trying to verify his order "we're too busy, I don't have time to do your job".... Mind you, there was no label on his cups. Meanwhile, the kid behind the register was overwhelmed and looked like he was about to cry. I ordered a latte and my cup was only 2/3 full so I asked nicely if they could fill my cup up the rest of the way. The bitter old hag behind the counter said they're busy so obviously she couldn't be bothered. I get you're busy but no need to be rude especially when you're putting out items that are wrong or insufficient. She filled the rest of my cup up but not without biting my head off first. Never experienced such horrible customer service. I wasn't even mad about the coffee, it was the shitty attitude. If this is how they regularly run their business, I'm embarrassed for them. No wonder that kid behind the register is on the verge of a mental breakdown. Large Marge back there seems like a fk'n delight to work with. read more

Dunkin' - a cup of coffee and a cup of ice cream - Donuts Near Me - New London, Connecticut

Worst Dunkin in the area!!! Most employees are rude, they are forever messing EVERYTHING up, and nobody ever answers the phone. How hard is it to make what it says on the screen? Avoid this Dunkin when you're in the area. The one on Coleman St is much much better. read more

Super fast with the orders. And fast to take your money. Sadly that's where it all ends. The staff lack customer service and pure politeness. Behind the counter they where talking about other customers and other staffers. The cashier never looked up at me or said anything other than what would you like. Very sad... ohhh and how about saying happy New year! read more

i went over there and I ordered hash browns they were cold af and they were burnt when I complained they flipped me off and started cursing at me. read more

I have been going to this Dunkin Donuts for a very long time and am sad to say that in the last few moths the quality of service has declined tremendously I also find it dirty inside and out, so often short staffed where the wait at the drive through could be up too 15 minutes long , the last two time I have been there they have miss up my coffee because they're busy talking about personal stuff and gossiping read more

worst service ever. The people in the window should learn how to speak to adults and should learn the menu before assuming we said the wrong order. read more

I love drive-thru DD. I do. I pulled up the other night, jonesing for a coolatta, coolata, however you spell it. I ordered it made with skim milk, with whip cream, cause I got it like that. I pull up to the window, and there is a girl ready to hand it off, you can see her arguing with the dude she's working with... She opened the window and said to him "just wait and see!" to me she said "That was WITH whip, correct?" I said yes please. She turned to him totally satisfied with how things went down. She had my friend and I in stitches. Amazing. Dude was cracking up too like "how was I supposed to know.... skim milk!" good times. read more

I have been a regular at this Dunkin Donuts for quite some time the staff on second and third are awesome I hardly ever go in on first except on the weekends , in at times the staff can seem a little short , however this is the new world of retail . Look at Walmart they know customer service like a politician know common sense . From working many years in the food service and retail I know what these people have to deal with on a daily basis there are a lot of rude ass customers out there . Usually when I go through the drive through once most of the staff here see me a lot of times they are already making my order before I even get to the speaker . and they always tell me they appreciate me , in my eyes that makes for stellar customer service . read more

Extremely rude staff and very unprofessional management. Called to complain about my treatment I got through the drive thru and management said they were just joking. The employee then in the background loud enough to pick up on my phone say "Do people really have nothing better to do with their time!" I work hard for my money and I know where I'm not going to spend it. I have gone here a number of time and my order is constantly messed up but I always gave them the benefit of the doubt... no longer. Want an example of unprofessional conduct and rude behavior go here. read more

i don't even yelp but that was the best dunkin visit i ever had so i downloaded the app just to give them so praise. A1 service while ordering, then i got to the window and paid and one of the workers was telling the other one she thought she messed up and i didn't even notice but apparently i was charged $1 extra that i wasn't aware of and she fixed it then came to the window and gave me a dollar and let me know she messed up. She didn't even have to do that because i wouldn't have known either way if i was shorter $1 but she did and i just think most people wouldn't go out of their way to fix that like she did so shout-out to her and that dunkin' read more

The location has the rudest employees. I've had my food thrown at me after I waited 10 minutes because the guy making the food missed my order. Today, the girl doing drinks was so disrespectful when taking our order. I witnessed a man come in after going through drive thru and saying the guy making food refused to cut his wife's muffin in half. The manager hardly apologized saying only that she told the employee it wasn't a big deal and he could have cut the muffin. I have never been in a place where all the employees have such bad attitudes. read more

There is NO good customer service, the staff is rude and denied me the order I placed!!! I went to place the same order as I normally do thru the drive thru, but because I didnt respond in time they demanded my attention thru the intercom. Now mind you I did not have a single car behind. Once I was ready they took my order and once I pulled up to the window they walked away. So I sat there, they stated they didnt have my order which was an Ice water with lemon. So I asked for just water, they then preceded to tell me they didnt have that either.... read more

I came for an afternoon coffee, and used the drive thru. There was very little wait (which I was very pleased about), and the customer services was lovely - the woman taking my order was very pleasant. The only negative is my coffee was missing the flavor I had asked for. I will still keep coming back, but I did miss having the flavor in my coffee today! read more

Overall, this Dunkin' Donuts is about what you would expect. The real perk is that the drive-thru is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff have their on days and their off days, but are overall fine to interact with. The inside of the restaurant is always clean. read more

The cashier was incredibly rude as soon as I asked her if I could get a refill in my to-go cup that I purchased at a DD. She said she "wasn't allowed" to make my coffee in it, and the DD policy that I checked before I bought the cup says otherwise. She made it in a plastic cup then poured it into mine which completely defeats the purpose. Why else would DD sell the cups? The price was questionably high for a refill as well. DD is my go-to for coffee and I've gotten refills in MA, RI, NY and now CT and the price at this location was higher than all of them including NYC and Long Island. She also kept calling me "honey" and not in a nice way. She also talked about me to other employees as soon as I walked away. I know I look young but I'm 22 and have never felt so disrespected at any coffee shop or restaurant. read more

Good WiFi and lots of seating if you need a quick meeting space. Parking is a little tight. Someone almost opened a door into my car.
