Used to be my family's go to Dunkin' but our order is wrong more than it's right. Seems like they can't read the labels. Asked for a large mocha cold brew, when I got to the window they handed me a medium. I love Dunkin Donuts so I was happy to see that there was one near my new house. I have ordered thru the app numerous times at other Dunkin locations but today I was totally bamboozled by the service I received here. I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and a donut when I left home which is about 8 minutes away. When I got to the store, there was only a single donut on the to go counter (which ended up being the wrong kind of donut). When I asked where the 2 sandwiches were, the staff got very confused and then proceeded to make them. I'm not sure if my order was taken by someone else or they legitimately did not make it. The staff here is also not very friendly. No greeting or recognition of my presence. I didn't get a sorry either for my missing order or being given the wrong donut. I'm not sure what to make of this place. The sandwiches did come out delicious though. I will only be back because it's so close to home. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. After waiting forever for a simple order, we discovered everything was wrong. We asked could they fix it before we pull away from the drive through? It was like asking for something in another language!! These kids were rude and clueless. Finally I just said give me my money back. We were thrown our money without a single apology. On February 4, 2022 at 4:30 PM there was a young lady working the register, and when I peered through the drive-through window, she had her mask down, and a napkin to her nose digging at her nose. Then she commenced to lift her mask back up, and grab cups for the customer. I asked for the manager, and her name is Chassidy, and the young man said that she had just left. I told the young man that that girl needed to wash her hands and that it was utterly disgusting, and unacceptable during the time of a pandemic. If that wasn't worse enough, the young lady then came to the window and asked if I was talking about her. I told her that I watched her through the window picking at her nose, and then putting her mask back up grabbing cups. She then argued with me, and said that she was not OK with me talking crap about her. I let her know that it was completely unprofessional, and not the thing that you do during a pandemic, but it is dirty not to wash your hands after you pick your nose, and continue serving customers. She told me that she was not picking your nose, that she was blowing your nose because it was running. Wow! I also told her that it was unprofessional to argue with a customer, and she stated again that she wasn't going to let me talk crap about her. I let her know that I was leaving a message for the manager via telephone, and she answered the phone so that I could not do this. This next generation is unbelievable! I haven't been to Dunkin' for a while but if you get there in the morning you have a better selection of delicious delights. Afternoon or early evening visits are more sparse--selections and freshness. I wish they would let me prepare my coffee, they never get it right. read more

I've been visiting this Dunkin Donuts for about four years. The employees are very friendly and the prices are the same as any Dunkin Donuts. This location is good for hot beverages, but their iced versions are lacking. I'm pretty sure they pour coffee in a pitcher with ice and leave it in a refrigerator. By the time they serve it the beverage is so watered down you can't tell if its coffee or iced tea. Unless, of course, you also ordered an iced tea which tastes like whatever sweetener you ordered plus water. I don't have any complaints with their food, except that they run out of sprinkled donuts by noon almost everyday. If you are passing through New Bern and looking for a hot beverage or a donut, this place is good. If you are looking for an iced coffee or tea, you are better off crossing the bridge into downtown and going to a local coffee shop. read more

Yes, that's what his name tag said. Eric with an "H". He was professional, speedy, and genuinely upbeat. I was hesitant to order the hot chocolate because our last experience tasted disgusting. We actually threw it away after two sips. Tonight was spot on! My mom had been craving hot chocolate so I stopped in to pick us both up a cup so I could surprise her. I've been here for 4 years and up until the last 6 months to a year, this location has gone from the best ever to one of the worsts. They are so slow getting people through the drive thru. Which, whatever, if my coffee is good then so be it. But the last month, my orders have been consistently wrong. I go every single day (as long as the line isn't too long on the days I work) and I would go as far as to say only twice a week are my orders actually correct. I truly don't understand how the orders can be wrong when the sticker is literally telling you what to put in the drink. And to make matters even worse, you can't go inside to get your drink corrected so you either have to hold up the line even more by testing your drink before you pull away or turning around and sitting in the long and slow line to get back to the window. I'm disgusted and embarrassed. While visiting family from out of town for the Thanksgiving holiday, I stopped in this Dunkin location for a quick beverage before hitting the road back up north. I had my service dog with me and anticipated the question - is your dog a service dog (I forgot her vest at home)? I overheard Ashanti (I found out her name later) whispering "she has a dog." Then proceeded to turn her back completely to me and walk away. Then, when I was asked, my answer was yes! I was fine with answering that question because I get it a lot. But this was a new one: Can I see your paperwork? I was shocked because, legally you're are not allowed to ask for that. This was the manager Kendall. I was like ummm yeah but just so you know, you're not allowed to ask for that. He said "well we have some people allergic to dogs in here." My boyfriend said, "she's hypoallergenic." He has no idea what to say at that point other than, do you have the paperwork? So I went out to my car, grabbed my phone, and pulled up the letter from my psychiatrist. I've never been so embarrassed and utterly shocked than I was at that moment. When I come back for a visit, trust and believe I will never return here and corporate will hear all about this. I go every morning to get a XL coffee with 10 cream and 10 sugar and every morning, it's delicious!! Coffee always hot, fresh, and consistently smooth. I normally go through the drive-thru etween 6 - 6:30 AM and it moves smoothly most mornings. With the exception of one lady who has get out of her car every morning to stand at the drive-thru and then taste her drink and then if it's not to her satisfaction, she'll make them do it over.... all while in the DRIVE-THRU! Lol, not their fault, but she should be made to go inside to make the drive-thru flow better. read more

During the Covid19 Quarantine, we took our family to the drive thru to get the kids out of the house for a few minutes, and boost their morale from being stuck inside. The manager at this location (Figi I think was on her name tag) was EXTREMELY RUDE! She refused to tell us the donuts that were available, rolled her eyes at us, and acted like she was so BOTHERED we were shopping at their business. Her tone of voice and demeanor was completely uncalled for especially in front of our young children. She had shut the window in our face and was laughing and talking meanly about us to the coworkers because we asked what kind of donuts they had available for the day. They are not on the menu to see, so of course we had to ask. There was not a single car in line in front of or behind us, so she had a few minutes to go over their availability, but refused to help her customers. I am so disappointed in this company for their behavior towards their customers. I had to write this review because I've been pretty impressed with this location. I was never a big Dunkin Donuts fan (before moving to a home nearby), but time after time, this location has exceeded my expectations.
