Decent coffee shop with all the bells and whistles you'd expect. Neither of us loved our drink and the egg and ham sandwich and the cinnamon roll left a lot to be desired. It was packed and not much room to navigate. What we found annoying is they don't take a name, or anything, and everyone just crowds around the counter waiting for their order. The barista who was calling out orders could not be heard. I don't need this kind of chaos this early in the morning. read more

On our way from Myrtle Beach to the Outer Banks and we picked this little gem of a coffee shop because it was half way in between! The coffee shop is in an old building and is just charming and with an old world feel! We were immediately welcomed by helpful, very friendly staff serving up great coffee! It's really hard to pick which baked goods you want because they all look fresh and delicious! They have everything from breakfast sandwiches, to muffins, to pies, to cakes, etc. We had cappuccinos and muffins and they were just what we needed! Just loved our stop here and wish we didn't live a thousand miles away. read more

I really wanted to love this place, as I had read so many wonderful reviews, especially touting the friendliness of the owners. However, I was deeply disappointed in the egg and cheese sandwich I ordered. It was presented completely untoasted, and the bread wasn't even buttered. I got it with American cheese, which was cold. They were super busy that day, so I hope this isn't their standard practice to serve a room temperature egg and cheese sandwich? I also didn't want to bring it back to the counter because there was a huge line of people waiting. I had also ordered a piece of peach coffee cake, and my spouse got a bagel with peanut butter, which came toasted. Both were decent. He said his hazelnut latte was a little too sweet, but otherwise good. Overall, it was just OK. I'm a local so I don't know if I'll be back. read more

We got two drinks, a bagel, and the soup plate! It was amazing! I loved the tomato bisque and my bagel was the best, super fluffy and soft and plenty of seeds on top The service was great, and the lady taking our order didn't rush us at all, since it was our first time in. The vibe of the inside was super cozy and cute, but it's a little warm inside. Love this cafe! I bring my toddler a couple times a week on our way to drop him at daycare. The owners are lovely and give him chocolate coins. The food is amazing! Homemade pastries, egg and cheese on homemade bread (my personal fav), sandwiches for lunch. It's a very cozy feeling spot with great decor. This is a really cool coffee shop that offers many great food and drink choices. Their lattes taste amazing and they have home made breads and pies.
