My sister and I stopped by a couple mornings ago to try this place out, and they still had their St. Patrick's Day menu available. I ordered the Lucky Charms latte.. it wasn't bad, just not quite my personal taste. We also got a cinnamon roll, and it was absolutely amazing, warm and honestly to die for. The shop itself was clean and had a really cozy, inviting atmosphere. The customer service was great as well. I'll definitely be back to try more drinks and find a coffee that suits my taste better. Overall, even though my drink wasn't my favorite, that came down to personal preference. Not anything the shop did wrong!

Their scones are delicious! The ambience is really quaint and the person at the desk told me a lot about their drinks and pastries. Definitely a must try when you're in New Bern.

The service was very friendly, all staffers were very helpful. The second day we went back after trying to go to another ice cream place whose computer was down so they were only taking cash. I literally never carry cash in this day and age. So back to Bear city fudge Co we went! The ice cream was amazing, no notes. Highly recommend!

Today I was showing my cousin around and we decided we wanted ice cream...and I wanted some bacon. Cute retro vibe establishment..its Saturday teh store is busy and it looks like there are only two ppl maning the store. One is scooping ice cream the other is making shakes and getting candy. I get in the candy line I'm next the very nice young lady takes my order...I ralize after getting it I want icecream...I ask her can I take the bacon and pay with the ice cream..she responded yes. While standing in the ice cream line I get a call from friends to meet for lunch...I tell my cousin..I'll get ice cream afterwards. To my surprise I see another young lady ringing folks up..I'm next. The young woamn names is Emma I found out later. Emma finishes ringing up the ladies ice cream , I step up..Emma looks at me...doesnt say a word..leaves to the back and open the fridge looks init..bends down as though she is hiding ..stand back up. ..closes the door ..mind you she pulls nothing out. Then she heads over to the ice cream counter and asks who is next. WHAT IN THE COW is going on?!!!!! A male customer waiting in line is watching the entire thing..he asks me.."do you want me to get her attention" I answer no thank you put the bacon on the counter and got my cousin to leave. I'm halfway down the street and said I'm going to address this blatant rudeness...or was she being something else? These are questions I have to ask myself when folks act out of character to me and not others. Went back in shop is now less crowded I asked the young lady that got my bacon where the manager is. She got Rachal on the phone. I took the call outside- told Rachal the entire story...she offered NO APOLOGIES..NO ICE CREAM , OR BACON or anything for that employee's bad behavior. All she did do was tell me how wonderful Emma is and that she is one of her best employees. At that point I knew nothing was going to be said or done or changed. As a matter of fact Rachal told me to tell her employee that her later. I politely declined ..I said I don't work for you...and If I say anything to the young woman ..she'll be in tears and leave. I've had my own business with 5 employees to deal with. Everything starts at the top. Emma felt compfortable doing that to me...cause she knew nothing would happen?! See sad thing is..cause there was no apology just praise for a job done HORRIBLY!!!! I get to write this REVIEW andtellmy truth. Then I get to tell everyone I know in NewBern ...then Iget to tell my customers who visit me at the New Bern Farmers Market when they ask for ice cream or an old retro vibe ice cream store...I can tell them definitely don't go there!!! Rachal and Emma do better..be better..act better...the world is diverse like it or not....I would love to hear from the owner..no not Rachal the half baked manager the owner. I'm ready to listen...or I can be Heard allover New Bern. Your choice.

The staff were both knowledgeable and genuinely friendly--such a great combo. The standout for us was the fig & pig toast--absolutely amazing. It was perfectly balanced with sweet and savory flavors and easily one of the best things we've had in a while. The drinks were bright, fresh, and really well done too. We'll definitely be back!

Didn't happen to us, but when we arrived, there was indeed a train sitting there, and some cars in front, well, they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. Inside is all vibes, kind of set up like an old pharmacy, but slinging cocktails instead, and I have to say, the cocktails were very tasty and well priced. All the tables were full of friend and family groups playing board games and enjoying various flatbreads and libations. Seems like the kind of place the local neighborhoods enjoy and spend quite a bit of time at. At the moment, can't remember the names of the cocktails we got, its been a few months. But I do remember the toasts. This place doesnt have a kitchen in a traditional sense, more like a prep area where they bring ingredients together (that I imagine are made off site) and toast it up to present you with some pretty unique combos and flavors. Honestly, a great way around some of the health code restrictions that start to apply to more in-depth operations while still having a robust menu. We ordered a variety for the 4 of us, as this was dinner that evening. Gettin Figgy with it was a favorite, as were the Pig and the Goat, and the Reuben. Their version of a Cubano was alright, but as could be the case you'd imagine, the pork was a little dry. The caprese was the only one we got that seemed to be a universal thumbs down, the avocado spread wasn't working with the other ingredients. Definitely would come back for some of these toasts, and drinks!
