I've been to this location three times since I've lived in Mount Joy. I grew up in Maine so Dunkin' Donuts was very popular but I wasn't a big fan of their coffee back then. I read the reviews, and along with my own opinions on their items, I stayed away. However, my boyfriend visited from California a couple of months ago and wanted to try their coffee. We were both impressed with their coffee and the service. Today I went through the drive-thru again and ordered iced coffee with cream. Delicious! Probably the best iced coffee I've had in a really long time. No bitterness--just tasty. And the service was friendly and fast. I will definitely return. read more

I went through the drivethru this morning. Ordered iced coffee, cake donut, and cream filled donut. She said Chocolate Cake donut? I said no, regular. She said glazed, I said yes. No comment regarding creme filled. When I got home, I had a regular glazed donut [not cake] and a chocolate covered Boston cream. Very disappointed with the communication [or lack of]. read more

Quality and customer service has always been hit & miss here. There's sometimes good workers but management is usually not so great. Orders are incorrect frequently. Today my order was not only incorrect, but the manager had an attitude, refusing to toast my sausage/cheese bagel, which I had requested in my order. I went back to give them another chance - and because I was mailed coupons and who doesn't like to save a buck? I ordered my usual - and handed them the coupon. The man attempted to charge me more. I reassured him he was incorrect and showed him the coupon. He started screaming at me and telling me that what I had ordered was different from the coupon. I read him the coupon - which stated ICED COFFEE. To which he then demanded that I ordered a LATTE and it is not on the coupon. I asked him to fix it and he would not. So I gave him back his drink and asked for my credit card back - to which he would not give to me. "you must pay for your drink". Poorly ran Dunkin - they don't know how to keep lines moving, and other people say it's because of the shape of the lot, and while I'd love to make excuses for them that is simply not the case. Get ready to wait at this Dunkin. If you're lucky only 5 minutes, if it's normal it will be 20. read more

The coffee is inconsistent and they always get the order wrong. I come home and figure out that they got my order wrong and I can't go back and fix it unless o want to wait in a 30 minute line because the lobby is still closed. We need a Starbucks in mount joy. read more

This is the worst Dunkin'Donuts I have ever seen! First, I ordered through Grub Hub. When the driver arrived to pick up my order 30 minutes after I placed it, it was not ready. The GH driver ended up waiting 30 more minutes for my order. When I called to tell the manager that the GH driver was still waiting for the order and maybe he should be given a courtesy cup of coffee, she went off on me and told me that they were not giving out free items. At the end of the day, she showed me by giving me mashed up hash browns that tasted like they were picked out of the garbage! But she REALLY got me by shorting my order by 2 items totalling $6.00. This is the most disorganized location. It's actually worse when the owners/managers are working and the good employees don't stay around long enough to even bring about positive change. It took 20 minutes to get two black coffees. Yes they were busy but having one register running and one employee just pacing in circles like a dog finding a place to pee isn't an efficient way to do your job either. Came here the other day and the drive-thru was closed. Not a problem; I went inside. Stood there for five minutes and there was literally no one in the building. At this point I could've jumped the counter and helped myself. This isn't the first issue I've had with this location; they also burnt a grilled cheese to the point where the cheese was a hard brown chunk in the center of two butter-soaked pieces of bread. Staff is usually very short and rude as well. I love Dunkin, and I hate giving bad reviews because I understand things happen. But corporate needs to come in and at the very least, retrain this management and staff. It's the worst I've dealt with from a customer perspective. read more

What is wrong with the customer service at this store ? Where is the training? You close the store to remodel and then you open and months later you have lousy workers or should I just say employees . I live near by so I do by the whole bean coffee. One Sunday I decided to purchase two bagels. I get home and find the one bagel is as hard as a hard pretzel. I drive back to the store, going through the drive through I set the bagel on the counter and tell the women about it and she yells at me to get it off the counter. I tell her I want my money back and tells me she can't do that. I say fine just give me a fresh bagel. RUDE RUDE RUDE !!! Two weeks later,, I went back today to purchase three bags of whole bean and I went inside , the store was not busy and I had to wait to be waited on. I pay and she walks away, I wanted a bag so I stood there, I was looked at by the next person but not helped out with a bag. The person who waited on me comes back and ask if they can help me. I don't know why you can't give 0 stars. Giving 1 is too many. This DD is the worst in the area. They are cheap. They don't fill your coffee. They don't give you a brown DD bag. They "forget" your cream and sugar. My wake up wrap was so over cooked that when I took it out of the wrapping, it cracked in half. And the cheese wasn't even melted!! This place is DISGUSTING. If I could I rather go in the mornings over the afternoons cause believe it or not, there is a better staff and the coffee tastes better. The main question is this.... is it normal to order bacon and then have to come hike to cook it from Dunkin? I was told it's supposed to be cold. This Dunkin is like most others in the area. Drive thru usually gets the order right but if they don't they get defensive when you go inside to get it corrected. Inside is usually kept clean and tidy and drive thru moves quickly. read more

We just moved to the area and live nearby, so it's a convenient place for a donut and coffee every once in a while. That being said, I've ordered the medium hot latte a few times, and the cup is only 2/3 full both times. The donuts were fine. The service left something to be desired. read more

I am not from this area, but I am a Dunkin Donuts addict. I order the same drink from every Dunkin I go to. THIS Dunkin Donuts is the only one that tastes different. Their iced coffee is so clearly watered down. It tastes disgusting. I am disappointed every time. I only come back thinking it'll be better but it never is. I won't be going back anymore. On top of the watered down coffee, the service is slow and the donuts are stale. I am shocked that Dunkin Donuts corporate hasn't intervened at this location yet. I don't know why this Dunkin gets dumped on so much. I have been there probably 20-30 times over the past year (usually in the morning) and the food and coffee are always good and they have yet to mess up an order. The only downside is the location--I live in E-town, so it's a pain to get here on my way to work in the morning. read more

I was having a craving for Dunkin Donuts and while I usually avoid the Mount Joy PA store like the plague it was a closest one so I figured I would stop in. Usually the service is pretty poor at this location and their hours were very inconsistent so I really went as a last resort. Luckily they were open and immediately I could tell something was different. They were very busy and plenty of staff was on hand. There were about 4-5 employees compared to the one grumpy guy that worked all day. The staff was very friendly and the freshness of the donuts with it being the end of the day was unexpected. I asked the man I spoke with if anything's changed to find out that it's under complete new management and ownership. I'm excited too pay this Dunkin many more visits after the service was exceptional during this visit. read more

I got an iced coffee from this location and it tasted very bad, burn, stale and watered down, I know it was a cold brew how could it taste burnt? That's exactly what I mean, who knows what's going on in this kitchen. They are making up their own recipes I think. worse DD ever funny thing is I use to run over2 stores in NJ and little did they know that. This was very disgusting there were so many flies around the store, rude staff, dirty workstations, no prep at all they were running like crazy to the walk-in refrigerator. I have experienced bad service and food/drinks here in the past but thought "Hey, let's try it today and see if they have changed." Well the drink and food wasn't watered down this time (a machiotto with French vanilla swirl and skim milk, with 2 doughnuts.) But the person at the computer didn't ring me out correctly! I didn't notice it until I drove off which was a dumb act on my part, but I had a coupon for a purchase of one medium or large drink and get one doughnut for free. My boyfriend wanted a doughnut as well so obviously I had to pay for that one but later I looked at the receipt and they took off the discount of a free doughnut but then below it, it said it had charged me for two doughnuts!!!! The person at the computer didn't know what he was doing bc the customer before me ordered their beverage and food and had to ask another employee how to take a discount off. That person didn't know what to do, so then there were 3 workers trying to figure it out on the computer!!! It's official! I am never going to this dunkin doughnuts! It's been like this for a years that I've heard and have personally experienced where it's nothing but bad reviews or comments about them. DONT GO HERE! They need a whole new staff!!!! read more
