I wrote a review of this Dunkin before but my opinion has changed, I'm not sure if there's different management, but I am impressed. Service: Very friendly, I always get a cheerful wave from the people in the back (maybe because I've become a regular). They always seem very respectful when taking orders and they never get the order wrong. Food/Coffee: The food is pretty good it's regular fast food quality. But the coffee is stellar, don't waste your money at "fancy" Starbucks. The coffee is rich and not overly sweet like most lattes or frappes. Inside: The interior is pretty clean, I didn't see any crumbs or spills on the tables. Overall everything looked really kept up. The bathrooms were clean as well. read more

I've been visiting this Dunkin' for years since growing up in Mint Hill. While the staff has changed over time, I'm consistently happy with the service quality and the drinks they make. I'm a huge fan of their refreshers and stop by here whenever I'm back in town, even though I go to a nearby Dunkin' daily. They always make my drink just right. The service could be a bit more consistent, but the drinks keep me coming back every time. After all these years, I expected some updates to the parking lot or maybe a remodel, but I'm just glad Dunkin' is still around in Mint Hill. I love my Dunkin'! read more

Consistently over the year gives me wrong item that I ordered, and what cashier even keyed in on the order ticket. Don't waste your time or money here. I politely went back in to get what I ordered, but it took 30 minutes. They served 10 cars in line AFTER I came in with their mistake. I politely asked whats the status of my redirect, and the kid said it the oven line is busy. Yeah bc you are continuing to serve a drive thru line without pausing to correct a mistake that you made. You don't continually serve 10 cars and make me wait 30 minutes. The kid who remade the food, purposely put the bag of food on the edge of the counter closest to him, causing me to lean over excessively and reach. That's disgusting behavior. Let me tell you. The staff is horrible. Dont waste your breath asking for light ice because they wont give it to you. I got to the window after waiting for 20 behind a woman who ordered $40 worth of drinks and snacks. They were too lazy to tell her to park and bring her things out to her like every other fast food establishment ive been too. When i got up to the window, I smiled because im nice and he looked at me with disgust. I gave him my card and he looked at it strangely. He handed me my drink right after giving me my card. I was putting it in my wallet and he shook the cup a little to let me know it was still there. I grabbed it and said i was sorry and told him to have a good day he just scoffed. Just terrible. The speaker is terrible you can't understand what they are saying. Order was wrong. 2 Carmel lattes were correct. My iced mocha latte.... not added to my order. My daughters iced Carmel WITH whipped cream, no whip cream. They took off the lid, added cream then out on an ice cream lid! They literally cut a place for the straw. It would have been better if they just said they have the correct lids. Soooo i had to order MY iced mocha latte. Got iced mocha coffee. Whatever! I love their iced mocha coffee so fine. I am a coffee lover and DD has the best iced coffee on the planet. Their iced latte's are also good. The doughnuts are hit or miss sometimes they are stale. I know they don't make them on site but I wish they had a way too keep them fresh. The DD app is also amazing because you earn free drinks and they always have coupons. read more

I try to give a decent review, but I've had several mess ups at this location in Mint Hill. Today, has sealed the deal, and we go here unfortunately a lot. Like breakfast today and yesterday Dunkin Donuts, but today I AM DONE. I go to pick a quart of Oreo because it's the cheaper way to buy and I ask about Baseball Nut; which for those who do not know, this is an AMAZING flavor and hands down my ice cream!!! The gentlemen tells me over the drive thru that they don't have it, carry it, it was a fluke, and it's not one of their flavors. Like Scooby Doo, I'm like "whattt?" So, I say well you just had it last week and then the other rep, yup this was a tag team, tells me they don't have it and they were just telling me so I didn't ask for it in the future. Excuse me. Who does that? Ok. Just give me my quart. I get to the window, pay and ask who was the one who told me to not ask for a flavor again. Oh that was me. Your name? Andrew. Oh ok, well how about this, in no instance should you tell a customer to not ask for something. Andrew says, "I figured I was doing you a favor, so you wouldn't waste your time in the future." OMG!! Are you serious, like maybe you're tired of people asking for flavors or donuts or whatever else. However, we have a right to ask, and at the end of the day, it's ice cream. I've NEVER had this happen. More importantly, when I called the week before I was told they ordered more because it sold out so fast and they should get more in shortly. So, why wouldn't I ask? Tell me that? I've loved this one flavor since 1996. This is what I would drive out for when I was pregnant with my first child. Not sure what's happening with this location...The drive thru service has become dreadfully slow. The employees taking the orders are hard to hear over the speaker and they're not friendly. I've been coming to this location for as long as I can remember and the service has always been amazing & quick! I'm assuming that maybe the employees I've been used to have all headed back to school/college because all of the negative changes started around the end of July/early August. I had not been to this Dunkin Donuts since my last review, which was not good. However, I was running a little late to work and figured a bagel and coffee quick would suffice. And once again Dunkin Donuts proved why I should not have stopped. 20 minute wait in drive thru and then my ordered toasted bagel with butter ended up magically turning into an untested bagel with cream cheese. I went back today with my grandkids because my granddaughter wanted to go there for ice cream. The service is still bad. Why am I still waiting long to pay when there is like 4 to 5 people behind the counter. Walked outside and no line for drive-thru, oh yea the young lady is having a full out conversation with the person that payed in front of me. I had to tell her, "Can I pay because I have to go? I've stopped here for coffee a few times, and each time I go through the drive-through. Each time, my order gets messed up in some way. The coffee itself, however, typically makes up for everything else. The drive-through speaker is definitely messed up. I've ordered through the app as well as in person & both still produce a long wait and the wrong drink. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. First off, customer service sucks. I went to this location and ordered a coffee with 2 creams. I actually received 5, but didn't realize until I got to work. I called them and they said to come in for a replacement drink. So, I go in today and it was like pulling teeth. The person on the registered spoke to 3 different people about my drink before making it. And then she had an attitude when she gave it to me. I live in Steele Creek but work in Mint Hill. It's is sad that I can't get coffee near my job. I have to stop in Steele creek and my coffee is cold by the time I make it to work. Go down the street versus wasting time at this Dunkin Donuts. Never have waffle cones (6 different occasions). Can't get a banana split because they are out (BTW Harris Teeter next door). Ice Cream has ice crystals. Overcharging for Cronuts ( $2.75 ea.) And they were stale. Breakfast Bagel had to be discarded. Stale and Hard as a Rock. Consider this your warning. read more
