I order it with oat milk and it's always smooth and delicious. Their espresso is so good on its own that I never even need to add sugar. One of my favorite things is being able to pre-order through the app so I can skip the line. It's even better when I've saved up enough rewards points to grab one for free. I just wish the points didn't expire so quickly since I don't always make it there regularly. Starbucks is also a great spot to get some work done. They offer free Wi-Fi, and if you're staying in the café, certain drinks qualify for free refills. It's a convenient, reliable place whether you're stopping in for your favorite espresso drink or settling in to be productive for a while.

Was told I couldn't because there's no way to ring it out as two kids lemonades and they suggested two twelve ounce lemonades. I get it, but also two small 8 oz hot cups with a little ice and 6 oz of lemonade equals one full lemonade. So I asked for that and was met with a snotty "I guess we can do that". Drinks were good though so there's that.

When you walk in, it's really a nice break from reality with all of the whimsical, antique, speakeasy feel. You can sip on tea and coffee and walk around the shop. Nice size biscotti went well with their tea. I had the blueberry muffin also. My friend and I had two cups of tea that were great! Staff is super nice and we could have spent more than 2 hrs in there just relaxing and catching up. I look forward to going back there. It's a nice intimate space to sit alone or a couple of friends.

Parking: nice sized lot…read more Decor: clean and not too tacky like some cafe's Staff: friendly and mostly attentive to customers Food: good but overcooked relative to the price. Ordered an egg white omelette and it came out brown (see photos). Looks like they were watching the soccer game and not the grill. Price: seemed a little high, $9 for one side pancake. Overall: I would go back if in the area for the cleanliness but I'd shop around to try other diners too.

It blows the Tex-mex and southern inspired Longhorn and Cracker Barrel decors away. The food, at least when I went there, seemed fairly cheap and a good deal for breakfast sit-down food. The menu is not southern inspired but is prepared well regardless of that fact. It seemed appropriate for southern Connecticut. I prefer it to Dad's Restaurant in nearby Wallingford, a ~10 minute detour from here, mostly due its atmosphere. Dad's is a decent a deal as it is, but it feels more like the inside of an iHop with its many booths and as I recall, not nearly as charming originality to its decor. It may not be a Michelin star restaurant, but I would hate to eat breakfast at an establishment that was. Dressing up, gourmet food, gourmet prices, and a stale atmosphere works well for dinner service, less so for breakfast, in my honest opinion. It may be a "hole-in-the-wall" type of place, but the hole is large and the locals don't mind keeping it all to themselves. 5/5
