    Dunkin in Melville

A very small outlet for DD with only four tables inside and no drive through. There is also a counter for the Baskin Robbins ice creams. My donut was fine but I had to remind them to prepare my coffee. They'd forgotten some time between me placing the order and handing me my donut. The table I wanted to sit at had a major wobble. As did the second table. At that point, with spilled coffee and a lack of patience, plus no exposed power outlets, I left.

Ok, so I haven't had dunkin' coffee this good since I lived in Florida in 2004. I was so damn surprised when I tasted this coffee. I was upset that I didn't get a large one. Every other Dunkin' coffee I've had has been watered down and taste the same kind of bad aftertaste flavor. THIS coffee is so good! Obviously it's better because it's prompted me to write this review. I don't know what they're doing differently but it's like night and day.

The only reason I ever cone to this location is for their breakfast sandwich which is good and donuts. The parking lot is too small and the lines tend to have a long wait. But that has not stop me from coming to this location.

Prices increased again. $1.39 for a donut? Go to the Dunkin' down the road and pay $1.09. Price gouging at its worst.

Whether you are looking for a productive spot to power through some work or a cozy corner to reset, this place nails the brief. The interior is the perfect blend of modern sophistication and warm, welcoming energy. It feels intentional and "luxury-adjacent" without being pretentious. It's the kind of space where you actually want to stay a while. The team here is fantastic. They are efficient--which is a lifesaver when you're on a tight schedule--but they still manage to be genuinely friendly and attentive. This is where they truly shine. The roast is smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they take their craft seriously; every latte I've had has been consistent and high-quality. My favorite is the pistachio latté. Don't sleep on the food menu. The sandwiches are clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients and elevated flavor profiles. They aren't just an afterthought; they are a destination in themselves. Buffalo chicken & Cheddar sandwich is the highlight!! Overall, Mokafé is a 10-star experience through and through. If you appreciate great coffee and a polished atmosphere, this is your spot.

French workshop desserts taste the same to me, as if they all have the same base: the cookies, the tarts, muffins etc... but it's a good place to sit, enjoy a tea with something to munch on. The lemon tart was quiet nice. It was a good balance of tart, sour and sweet. I like the marshmallow fluff that was toasted on top of it. The raspberry madeline was a sweet butter cookie, crunchy on the edges with some parts being soft. It was okay. We also got tea.

Boy, am I glad I checked out this spot! Upon stepping in, I was greeted warmly by the owner and since it wasn't busy, she happily explained different things on the menu for me as I am quite indecisive! The store has a cute, brightly lit, clean interior with some seating. The menu has a ton of options and I loved how there was a bunch of items that weren't your "typical" bubble tea store options. Most of the drinks were customizable meaning you can choose the ice level, sugar level, etc. There were also bakery items. There were two self order kiosks by the front of the store but you can also order at the counter. I ended up ordering a Yuenyeung Milk Tea with Tapioca. I opted out of the tea portion and got fresh milk instead because I didn't want the caffeine due to the time I was ordering but I definitely want to try it again with the tea! The tapioca was nice and chewy and if I recall correctly, the owner told me they were from Taiwan hence the chewiness. There was also grass jelly and red bean mixed in the drink which was so good. I opted for 70% sugar level which was perfect; just a very slight hint of sugar and the red bean also added a little sweetness as well. I will definitely be returning to try out the other menu items especially the taro because I saw people saying real taro is used and I am a huge taro fan!
