Sourdough sandwich, supposed to be on toast, slapped together, bread -crookedly facing opposite directions and it tasted so bad.

The food was sooooo bad. The quality is abysmal. We ordered a muffin, a kolache and a few sourdough sandwiches. It was all inedible. We all tossed our food. I hope we don't sick.

Drinks are made differently everytime. There sandwiches are also made different everytime. Everyone knows there good or bad days at dunkin and that's just unfortunate. Ordered hash browns and got tatertots (granted they are basically the same thing but still). They charge a whole DOLLAR and 8 cents for a microscopic pup cup???? If you're broke just say that. Also people there just don't know what they're doing lmao.

They have their own private lot, and they don't seem to be super busy to where you can't find a spot. It's very convenient and easy to get a space. You can walk in and order and sit wherever you'd like, or you can order to go. There are plenty of tables and chairs to sit by yourself or with a group. There were three employees working, but only one was actually paying attention to the customers. She did her best to make sure everyone in the store had what they needed. Even though she was the only one helping people everyone still got their orders on time. She was very friendly and polite despite the lack of help from her co-workers. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest but they weren't terrible, the toilet paper was full but the trash looked like it hadn't been thrown for days.

I get drive thru coffee all over town. I am not too complicated large with 6 creams 4 Splenda, don't judge. I love it when they put it all in the coffee for me so it's ready to drink. This time I asked for the Splenda at the window. She was smart enough to give me a stirrer with the packets. I can't tell you how often I get packets & creamers in the bag with no stirrer and have to burn my finger to stir my coffee! Thank you Dunkin for having common sense! Many places don't. Oh! and breakfast ALL DAY! Something most fast food places got rid of.

    Hashbrowns

This location is not the best...they've forgotten some of my items a few times and the hashbrowns are always soggy and dripping with grease. The one on 114th is wayyy better.

Service was pushy and subpar for a time that was slow. Cashier kept grabbing wrong donuts so be bought more than we bargained for! I would have been ok with it if the product itself was worth it. Our donuts were not seperated and turned into a pile of icing mush. Will stick local for donuts from now on!!

When we walked into Gold Stripe Coffee Roasters, the young lady who held the fort down was doing…read morejust that. She was friendly, fast, and efficient. She knew her stuff too! This coffee shop has its own drive-thru on the back of a large commercial building on the southwestern side of Lubbock, TX. The inside has high ceilings. Multiple seating arrangements scattered. Simple yet elegant decor with a clearcut palette of black, gold, brown, and ivory. The most vibrant item was the chalkboard sign with the new roasts and the WI-FI password. For our late afternoon dust storm road trip back home to New Mexico on February 17, 2026, my daughter opted for an iced cappuccino that was deliciously creamy and sweet to her liking. I wanted something much more impactful and caffeinated, so I settled on a Cortado which is basically a shot of espresso with as much steamed milk. It took a while for it to cool down, but it was some of the best espresso I have had in such a long while. I believe there is a second location on Salem Ave. This one closes early.

More expensive than the cactus alley location but maybe it's because of what I ordered. I like this…read morespace more because it larger and comfier in terms of seating. I got the gingerbread latte (seasonal) and the iced vanilla honey with oat milk which was okay. I wish they served our drinks in reusable cups like the cactus alley location because it's ~ cozier and eco friendly ~ but that's okay. Not bad

He-Brews was the first local coffee shop I ever went to in Lubbock. During my freshman year, my…read morefriend was visiting Tech, and I went with him, my sister, and my at-the-time girlfriend who was visiting with them. I liked how secluded He-Brews was from the rest of Lubbock, right in the heart of prairie dog town. It's hard to get distracted from studying if the only thing around you is dirt. I've been to He-Brews a handful of times since then, having nice conversations with a friend over coffee, getting some studying in when I needed a change of scenery, or last week when I decided to revisit He-Brews while in town. I think the space is cute and cozy. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. This time I ordered their Lavender Haze, a lavender and honey macchiato. I thought it was a little too milky compared to the espresso, and it lacked much nuance. It was fine and I finished it, but it really wasn't special. They also have a Christian radio station, KWBF, under the same roof. I have never once seen the station's broadcasters inside the studio while I'm in there, but it is cool to have it in one place. Because of this, you may hear Christian Contemporary Music playing inside He-Brews, which I don't think is inherently wrong, but it is maybe the worst non-secular music to exist, so be prepared with headphones to hear literally anything else. If the macchiato you order is inspiring you to go deeper in your faith, I'd recommend checking out Numero's Good God! Apocryphal Hymns for some much needed fellowship that actually has something to say past the three minute mark. I am not really sure why He-Brews needs to be so strongly associated with its religious method. Nothing about coffee is inherently Christian, but a lot of people deep in faith love to open a cafe. I really don't think opening a coffee shop as a Christian is even a bad thing. I think providing a place of comfort is a great mission to have as a follower of Christ. It's just that they don't advertise any fellowship or promote any charitable concepts. Instead, they have a WiFi password of John 3:16 and say they are inspiring growth. I want to buy it. I want to believe in it, but it all feels surface level. As I left, I noticed the massive load of campaign yard signs outside their building. Nothing says following Jesus Christ quite like endorsing candidates. It's like they realized how good a pun of He-Brews would be and everything else is just trying to make the name work. Maybe that's just me though. RIYL: God's favorite latte

The environment is very relaxing sitting next to a pond and walking trail without anything else…read morearound, yet it's still close to downtown and Tech. The staff was friendly and moved quickly even with a line on Friday morning. Prairie dog mounds exist on two sides of the building, so it's fun to see them. They are shy, so don't walk to them, but bring and throw some baby carrots out for them! The outdoor patio is huge with a beautiful view of the water and greenery. Parking is all dirt and gravel. If you need a drink to-go, make sure you tell them when ordering because they serve drinks in cute, non-disposable latte cups. I only gave 4 stars because the latte was delicious, but not sure it was the strongest. The He-Brews signature latte is delicious!
