It was my first time, though I'd heard great things, so we tried the lunch special: roasted chicken with wild rice, steamed vegetables, and a bread roll. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous--I even had enough to take home and share with my husband. For dessert, I had the bread pudding, which my friend swore was the best around, and she was absolutely right! While the setting is more cafeteria-style, the food is outstanding--hearty, flavorful, and reasonably priced. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for some wholesome Southern cooking!

The atmosphere is casual and unpretentious, with a cafeteria-style setup that keeps the focus on the food. The country-style, farm-to-table breakfast was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. Don't go expecting fancy décor or upscale frills--go for a comforting, well-made meal in a relaxed setting. A standout feature is the collection of incredible trackside horse photographs covering nearly every wall, which gives the space plenty of Keeneland charm and character.

What a treat! A co-worker dating someone in Lexington suggested this place…read more We were in the area and decided to give this place a try. It's not exactly in Lexington... it's more on the outskirts(in my opinion) but it hits extremely hard. They have many things on their menu but I wanted something simple. Breakfast sandwich. I added cheese and ordered an avocado for it too. I should've ordered an extra biscuit. It was light, filling, and equalized me in the most perfect way. My wife ordered the grain bowl and it was so much bigger than we thought it'd be. Plenty for leftovers. If I had any complaints, it'd be that it is a smaller place. Let me rephrase... not so much small but it is busy and cramped. They could easily expand to another location or larger location. We will definitely visit this place again. All the food was perfect!

The breakfast burrito was a great burrito and would recommend to anyone who wants a burrito. Not basic but a higher level breakfast burrito. The dip that accompanied the burrito was also very tasty.Their version of a hash brown was pleasantly very crisp with a mild cheese flavor. The omelette was uncooked. It was a Japanese style omelette that was soft and runny in the middle. Not very appetizing if you were not expecting it. It was accompanied by half a big bag of balsamic salad greens . I'm not sure who actually enjoys this pairing. The hot honey chicken biscuit was nothing to talk about. It was also paired with the other half of the big bag of balsamic salad greens. Would not order again. It's a standard cafe with nothing that made it stand out to us. The prices seemed high for what we got. Places are hit or miss and unfortunately this place was a miss for us.
