I finally got to try NashBrew and I am beyond happy!…read more Having heard, and seen, so many great things about the coffee from NashBrew, I was stoked to find them at the newly opened PickUp Food Truck Park just north of the city. I was at the neighboring doggy daycare picking my pup up, and while I waited I wandered up to the truck in search of cold brew. Their cold brew is a dark roast that is brewed for 22 hours, so I was excited at the thought. While I am normally a purest, he recommended The Coal Miners Daughter, which is their cold brew with a few add-ins of chocolate and milk of choice. I went with oat milk. The drink was phenomenal! It was smooth, had the full bodied taste of cold brew with just the right mix-in of chocolate. Service was solid, as the owner was super friendly, helpful and just a cool dude. Overall, NashBrew was delightful. Hopefully they become a regular at the nearby food truck park!

They have a great origin story here that is mentioned as art on the wall and support local artists by displaying and selling their artwork. The staff is very pleasant, always greeting you as you walk in the door and answering questions. They have cute merchandise like shirts, sweaters and stickers. The inside has plenty of seating too with free WiFi and places to plug in if you want to hangout and work. We've met the owner a few times and she's always been nice and talkative with us. The cons... a lack of outlets is a BIG deal for me. I cowork and meet people for that a decent amount, so that makes it difficult to do. Secondly, the parking is pretty terrible. Not their fault obviously, but it's hard to find parking most times and it's only 2 hour parking, so having any work meetings there aren't the best. I'd definitely recommend it if you're not thinking of working/coworking, but for that specifically, I wouldn't.

There's a seating area with about 5-tables and a small snack stand for quick bites, but no actual food. The coffee selection is pretty vast for such a small cafe, but my go-to is always cold brew. The CB here is pretty decent, not bitter at all and very smooth. I do recommend getting coffee after shopping because it's a real pain in the booty to put down your books, take off your mask, sip coffee, put mask back on, repeat. Get your book(s), get your coffee, sit down and enjoy!

We decided to try Drips after reading great reviews and I'm so happy we did! It reminded me of one of my favorite coffee shops in Spring Hill (shout out settlers). They had home-made syrups, delicious cold foam, and flavorful coffee. The shop itself was inviting and still decorated for Christmas and the baristas were happy to help. Definitely coming back!
