The manager here is horrible. I ordered an iced latte and asked if they could add a splash of cream. The man taking my order said no and I was confused because many dunkins do it and the cream is not something that has to be steamed, it is like adding extra milk. Another lady took over and was willing to do it then the manager said that it wont taste right because it is a milk-based drink and how it is against policy. I would like to see that policy, dunkin corp. Either way I went back and forth with this manager until I finally was like okay you won't put cream in my beverage that I am paying for, can I get the cream on the side so I can put it in the drink. Yes, actually. So I feel like you are a stuck up person who gate keeps beverages and lazy, too. I got an ambiance vibe that you did not care about the customer. I could hear you laughing at me. Employees are rude and unaccommodating, the coffee sucks and 9 times out of ten it's wrong. And you'll likely wait for this coffee for 15 minutes. They are spectacular in the morning, good in the afternoon, but not always helpful, friendly, or pleasant at night. The service, food quality, speed, friendliness, helpfulness, and accuracy in the mornings has always been top notch in my experience. Things can sometimes slow down a bit in the afternoons. However, at night, they have sometimes run out of items, turn off their ovens well before closing time, and don't look very happy to see you. I've never been able to order donuts after 8:00 PM. Courtesy from nighttime staff depends a great deal on which crew is working that night. Some are quite friendly and others downright unpleasant. Just went thru drive thru. The service was fast but the food was cold. I ordered the sweet bacon croissant and my husband ordered just a toasted butter croissant. Both croissants were cold, the egg and bacon was cold and cheese wasn't even melted. And he asked at the window if they toasted his croissant that fast because soon as he paid they handed the food out the window and the girl said yes. So obviously they precook everything and throw it together and don't warm it up. Was a waste of money to us because neither of us ate it. So let me add now I emailed corporate who doesn't even read the emails yet responds. I notified them with the location and they sent an email that somewhere in New Jersey would be contacting me to which I responded obviously they don't read the actual email before responding or they would know it was the Lake Alfred, Florida location. By far the worst Dunkin' Donuts ever!!! This location should be closed down immediately, worst customer service ever, always runs out of things like small cups, donuts, bagels and coffee. This place is awful. My 5 year old could read directions and make the food more correctly. Multiple times of requesting Sausage on my breakfast sandwhich bc I dont like bacon, for them to always give me bacon. Like really? Sausage is literally an option when im ordering! This time the bacon was even BURNT and THEY LEFT OFF THE CHEESE! So I stopped here on my way to do an open house. I was trying to do something besides coffee and I asked the cashier about the coconut refresher like if it was good what was it etc. She had me sold on that it was made with coconut milk and fruit flavoring. When I received my drink omg it was disgusting ! It didn't taste like it was made with coconut milk more like coconut water. I asked her about it being made with the water and she reassured me it's milk. Anyways I had already driven away. It tastes liked bubble bath or like body lotion it was appalling bad. Very weird odd tasting drink. I also used the ladies room before I left and it was disgusting as well there was poop all over the toilet seat. I cleaned it up because my bladder couldn't wait. There was only two people working and too busy talking with each other and not even paying attention with what was going on around them. Although the place was very clean I will say that. My husband and I have a coffee date every week, and every week the staff is rude, they are always out of something. They are not cleaning the coffee makers as they should, as 9 times out of 10 the coffee taste like it has been burnt. I go to this Dunkin' almost everyday considering it's right by my job, generally the atmosphere is great, amazing customer service but they have recently hired a new girl who is completely RUDE. I have greeted her and have told her thank you on countless occasions and yet she doesn't acknowledge me. I have asked her for Splenda or a straw and she's annoyed. Today was quite interesting, as I placed a mobile order through the drive thru, where another employee kindly asked me the name of my mobile order and to pull around. I get to the window and my husband is told by the new hire a total, which my husband unconsciously hands her the card, let me mention she did not greet us. After realizing that he has made a mistake, he tells her, where than she immediately gets annoyed and tells my husband to give her the card back to place a refund. She begins to converse with her co-workers with the window open and says "well they didn't tell me that they had a mobile order!" Please keep in mind that I told the employee at the speaker it was a mobile order? I guess I have to also announce that again at the window? She completely blew me away. My husband than tells her after overhearing her talk about us with her co-workers "Are you trying to blame me?" as she proceeded to say "Well you never told me you had a mobile order!" Mind you this is coming from the same girl who doesn't even greet or acknowledge your presence when you arrive at the window. I did try to find her name on the receipt, but it was under another employee. Beware of the new hire at the window. read more

The staff was friendly, order came out quickly even with a large crowd, and everything was right, hot and as ordered! This is wonderfully unlike another location (Auburndale) where I have to wait so long that the order hasn't come out near the same time or temp and items are missing. read more

I was trying to give this Dunkin multiple chances but this is it. They occasionally get my whole order correct but that is when I have an order with 1 item. I don't normally write reviews but I have multiple orders now messed up. I went in today with a simple request. Two drinks and I was trying not be really annoyingly specific so I ordered a dozen assorted donuts but "nothing filled". They asked "including boston creme" (which is filled) to which I respond yes. They ring me up, drinks are fine and hand me my donuts. I get home, open the donuts to find HALF of them are filled! *FACE PALM* I guess my husband is only eating filled donuts today. I don't understand. I was very clear, nothing filled. I have had a lot of things mixed up before at this Dunkin but I just do not understand how you can get a simple order wrong. I guess next time, I will have to go in with even more specific instructions and say exactly which donuts I want. read more

I went to the Lake Alfred Dunkin Donuts today because it is closer to my house. I went through the drive through and ordered a large caramel iced coffee, the employee informed me that they were out of caramel so I ordered a large hazelnut iced coffee and an apple fritter. The employee told me to hold on because she needed to see if they had anymore apple fritters. I waited for about 30 seconds and another employee came on the intercom and confirmed my order without mentioning the apple fritter. I told her that I also ordered an apple fritter and she said "okay, pull toward" without telling me my total or if they had anymore apple fritters. I proceeded to pull around to the first window and hand the cashier my card. She ignored me at first while she was discussing with her coworkers about a meal that wasn't payed for. She finally looks my way and ask if I ordered a sandwich and I told her no. She turns back and starts talking about the same situation with her coworkers in a very unprofessional way wanting to know " what the f*** happened to the order that wasn't payed for" while I am STILL AT THE WINDOW waiting for her to confirm MY order. They were discussing that it probably happened because she was playing phone not paying attention. She finally turns back to me confirms my iced coffee but not my apple fritter that I also ordered. I had to reorder the apple fritter, she took my card and gave it back all while still talking about the meal that didn't get payed for. Profanity was used during this I entire conversation with a few of the coworkers. I pulled to the second window and she handed me my coffee (which was disgusting) and once again I had to ask for my apple fritter!!! She finally got a bag gave me my apple fritter (which was cold and hard) but didn't give me any napkins or a straw. I asked for a straw and she said that they were out of straws at the moment. No apology and not a "have a nice day" as they were still in conversation about the meal that wasn't payed for. This was the first and will definitely be the last time I will be going to this Dunkin' Donuts. They customer service was awful along with there organization (which is probably why they lost profit in the meal they gave away). They have not only lost profit but also a customer! I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my horrible experience at this location. read more
