Thankful to have a new cafe in the area. Came for the first time and ordered pick up and it was great. Very cute decor & casual vibes. I received very nice service from both women working. They made my sandwiches with the exact toppings I want & my drink was refreshing not too sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more!

Second time at the coffee grove, the first time it was very busy so it took longer than usual but still good service and breakfast. This time was much better, quick service and very nice women. I got a chaga matcha which is new to their menu and very delicious! I tried the almond croissant and it was so good, not overly sweet which was nice. The vibe is quiet in there and it's nice that they have a tv with the menu as well as a physical one.

"Loaded" Baked Potato Soup

Overall the service was quick and nice. The shop itself is cute and well decorated with appropriate theming for a coffee shop. That's about where this reviews good is. The iced coffee wasn't strong enough. I ordered a caramel iced coffee with a splash of milk. Granted, thank you for asking what milk I wanted but alas coffee flavor water is what I received. Poor coffee never had a chance here. I was slightly hungry since my partner and I were out for lunch and the Korean/Japanese, place down the way was closed. I tried the potato soup. They made it to go automatically, which is kind of "let's push the customer to the door" kind of vibe. I took a moment to try and enjoy my soup. My partner noticed the dull orange in color to the soup was. I agreed the soup has been sitting for a moment. I tried the Bacon Bits, just like you can get at the grocery store. Grated cheese was okay. Overall decent soup, be happy to try it again. The reason for 2 stars wasn't my watery drink or over processed soup. It's the insanitary storage of your empty dispenser. Alas these should have something keeping them from the ground. I didn't notice this till after my meal. As a courtesy I cropped the staff out of the photo, they were all talking in the kitchen. I want this place to shine, however I have to review on what I saw and enjoyed/disliked. Best of luck to this lil coffee shop.

Hot and delicious with the kindest service ever! They've only been open about a month so far but had no hiccups I could see. The hot chocolate I had was lovely and they even asked if I wanted cinnamon on the top. I don't drink coffee so I'll have to rely on other reviewers for their expertise, but for non-coffee drinkers they have a bunch of options. The banana nut muffin was heated up and had crunchy banana pieces on top. Very nice touch! I did expect banana pieces inside and was a bit disappointed but the muffin itself was delicious! It's a lovely vibe inside with quiet music playing and a few tables to eat in. The seating is limited so larger families will want to take their food to go. It is definitely worth a try!

This is a crossiant Ham and Cheese Sandwich, sorry I ate the other side

Whisk the Sweet Bakeshop is a mixed bag for me. I love the service and the espresso is decent, but…read morethey dont have regular coffee. They can make an americano (two shots of espresso and hot water). But NO real brewed COFFEE. This is my second time here. The first time I got espresso and they gave me a complimentary short bread cookie which was quite good. This time I sat at the bar area and watched the cook. I also ordered food. Watching the cook I noticed they pre-make their pancakes and then nuke them. The same for the french toast. Any time you see a microwave in a restaurant you should be concerned. And this is going to sound super judgemental, but I have to take away a star just for the microwave. And I didn't order the pancakes or the french toast, so who knows how they tasted. I stayed long enough to watch him make pancakes, so I guess he pre-made some for the rush. Same for the frech toast. The place doesn't have a hood vent so I can see why he wouldn't want to make a bunch on the spot with customers around, because the smoke was starting to fill up the place. I had a double espresso on this visit as well. And got that super good short bread cookie again. I am not a big sweet eater, but those little cookies are addictive. My food order was an egg whisk with ham. It comes with bread, but I opted out of that. They were really slammed with customers and to go orders so I waited quite a while for my food. Honestly it was worth the wait. Also got to watch the cook and he was doing a really good job of pumping the food out and it all looked delicious. So there is that. The set up is more like something you would have in your kitchen at home. Some of those sandwiches had great eye appeal. I am sure they were good because didn't see anyone sending anything back. And it was really enjoyable watching the cook hustle.

AFTERNOON LUNCH DATE WITH THE WIFEY!!!…read more We stopped into the proper pie to grab lunch and here is the short of it. The pies are all frozen and take 20+ mins for them to cook it for you. If you have time the pies are very good. The only reason for the 4 stars is the time we spent waiting for the pies to cook felt like forever and the place was completely empty. I know these take time to cook, but just sitting there waiting felt like forever. I think buying and taking home to cook may be the way to go for these pies if you don't have the time. Pricing was a bit much in comparison to grocery store pies, but the filling sets Proper Pie apart from those in the freezer section. We got a beef and a chicken both were tasty. For us, Proper Pie is a once in a while or grab and take home to bake place, but when we want a meat pie this is the place to go!!! They also have an array of British food selections available. AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!
