We've been going to this Dunkin all summer. We always find the servers to be amazingly friendly. The donuts are fresh and the sandwiches warm and not stale, as has happened in some other DD's. I think I'm done with Dunkin' Donuts. The munchkins have gotten sooo tiny, the coffee is watered down, service is slow. This is not a reflection of any employee and truthfully almost all CT based DD are the same. Got to NH and the DD there are so different. This specific DD has NO DRIVE THRU. So if you are with a car full of kids, keep on driving until you find one that is convenient for families. Summary - move along and find the next DD. Hopefully the owners of the next one aren't trying to cheat you out of undiluted coffee and real munchkins. This place gets 2 stars instead of 1 because of the friendly staff. read more

I go to Dunkin' Donuts daily throughout Connecticut. I happen to live in Killingworth and almost every time I've gone to this Dunkin' Donuts they've gotten my order wrong. This morning I was given $.75 in change all in nickels because "that's all they had".. and when I got to the highway to open my coffee it was black no milk no sugar... This is not one I frequent but I was here a few days ago I needed a caffeine boost. I informed the ladies working that sometimes my americano is made with too much water at some locations and others get it perfect. They were nice enough to take the time to figure out how I liked it. This has to be one of the worst DD's I have ever been to. It's nice because the adults can get their coffee, and there's a Baskin Robins inside as well so the kids or non-coffee drinkers can get ice cream. Every time I go the coffee is old and bitter, and they never give enough cream or sugar. OLD NASTY COFFEE. They don't remake it every so many minutes, they let it sit all day and that's why it's so gross. The best time to go to this one is during the AM rush. read more

Ok, this is a Dunkin' Donuts so I'll keep this short and sweet. There is no drive-thru. A drive-thru was a possibility in this location so I'm not sure why there is none. When I walked in to give my order the girl was on the phone. This was a friendly conversation full of gossip, not a professional business conversation about Dunkins or Donuts. She stayed on the phone and kept her conversation going as I gave my order. Not to mention, she was on the phone during my entire time in the shop, other customers had to order through her conversation as well. The food was like any other Dunkin' Donuts, bland and mediocre. Prices are also too high for the product, but the service is fast and you can count on Dunkin' to be conveniently located throughout CT without much effort. I absolutely loathed the service I received here, employees need to hang up the phone and concentrate on what they are being paid to do. read more

We love our Killingworth DD. It's our mom meeting spot I think the workers are very friendly and courteous! If you go there enough like we do...you recognize the regular employees and even the regular locals. Love the little seating areas they made...probably should make more like that on the opposite side where baskin's is. read more

The employees that I have come across at this Dunkin' Donuts seem miserable and get annoyed when you order anything that takes time to make. Also the frozen chia latte I got was so discussing compared to the other ones I've had at other Dunkin' Donuts. They really need to learn to listen to the customer and definitely need to learn how to make the drinks right. Friendly staff and a clean well run shop, but if you're ordering any type of sandwich make sure you watch them make it or at a minimum check your order before you leave. Too often I've driven away only to find a sandwich missing or incorrect. By far the least amount of staff turnover of any D&D I know. Kudos. read more

This Dunkin Donuts seriously needs to train their staff on customer service. We live in Killingworth and have been to this store several times over the last 5 years. Think the owner/management must have changed in the last year, because good service has become hit or miss. It seems that when management is on premises, service is fairly good, otherwise it can be pretty awful. Today (Sunday), we stopped for soft serve since they also have Baskin & Robbins. The trash container outside the front door was overflowing with trash ( not a pleasant sight or the first time it's happened). There was only 1 worker at the counter and no others in sight. My husband waited patiently at the ice cream counter while she waited on 3 customers (one of whom came in after us). When she finished with them, she continued to ignore my husband, and left the counter. No one else came to cover the counter, so we left annoyed. We then saw the worker getting into her car and leaving. Her shift must have been over. Not once had she said someone would be coming to wait on us nor did anyone take her place at the counter. Apparently, no one cared or was even there. If no one cared to empty the trash, why would they care to wait on customers. Our advice would be to know going in that you may or may not get decent service. This store gives Dunkin Donuts a bad name. read more

Great service! Saw cute Turkey decorated donuts, but they were filled with cream. I asked if they had any plain donuts and the manager, Sergio told me he'd have someone decorate plain donuts for me.
